Today after updating to Patch v1.108.318, I am unable to resume knitted projects. I can start one but can't resume the project my sim has already started.
I am running a clean, new save without any mods on a PC.

Currently happening to me, too. I was able to resume projects when my sim lived in her first home, but ever since she moved out, she has to complete a project in one go or I can't have her resume or frog.

I am having the same issue on my PC. No mods installed. I tried repairing the game but nothing works.
Same problem for me. Tried all sitting options; bed, sofa, rocking chair etc. Just won't register.
I am also having a problem where I can start a project, but if anything interrupts my sim while knitting, I can neither resume nor frog the project. It just stays permanently as an unfinished project. Drives me nuts. I have been having this same bug for months now.
I have the same problem, with and without mods. Removing the knitting basket and buying a new one does not work. Can't resume nor frog the projects.
The bug fix they linked above really does work once you use it- since you're already using mods. Unfortunately that doesn't solve the issue for console players
All my sims will not resume to a knitting project or frog. I've even tried sitting them down still they won't do it. Please get this fixed soon, I was hoping the last patch would fix it but that didn't happen.
SunrainseaYeah, I was playing the No Skills, No Problem scenario and using knitting to earn money until I could afford to buy and set up a retail store. Fortunately, the knitting projects I could do at level 0 (no skills, remember) were short enough to finish in one sitting.
I'm hoping this will get fixed in the next update, but it's not on the Laundry List so I'm not holding my breath. It may take several months if it ever gets fixed at all.
Its so annoying. I wanted to enjoy the Knitting skill ðŸ˜
