I completed the first objective of the first week, but when i went to do the "A Call Away" task, it's gone. I did end up getting the letter in the mail but when my sim went to read it, the interaction disappeared and nothing happened. I am on PC.

The tasks are still not showing for me, even after the update
I posted screenshots in my ticket: Grim reaper task UI still not showing | EA Forums - 4976578 this was after the update. The tasks have disappeared for me, I’m just left with the Grim reaper icon
Yup still nothing coming up for tasks for me even after the update 😕
I moved the Electronic Arts folder to my desktop and slightly changed the folder name. Then I started a new game and it worked. I moved all my saves from the desktop EA folder to the new EA folder and went back to the game I've been playing...that worked too!
I did this and it actually worked for me!! Thank you! It didn't automatically just have everything pop up, I needed to hit play in live mode and re accept the grim task, so now I have to start over but that's still okay!
Good point! I forgot to mention you need to hit play, that almost tricked me too. For me, the quest I already completed stayed but the one I was halfway through I had to restart.
In my case I have "waiting for ambrosia society newsletter" which I can't complete because it won't deliver mail to me. And none of the week 2 quests have shown up. Maybe I have to complete that one before the week two ones will show up? But I can't because my mailperson is keeps bugging.
I still have the same problem. I can't complete the quest from the first week because I no longer have the quest window. I could only play the quest via “Read newsletter”, since then the window is gone, even after the update.
I don't have any options, just the little reaper square tab. I have given up on this, not even after the latest update worked, and the DirectX11 does not work either, I tested it yesterday and still can't get out of the game. I am back to DX9. It is very disappointing because it is the only game I play.
I am having the same problems. I was not able to finish week 1 because the letter reading task did not complete. It also consumed the letter and I have not received any mail in any save since. I am frustrated that after the "update" that did not change anything at all for many players, there has still been no comment or mention of any work towards an actual fix. The only things I am seeing are people suggesting deleting files and doing all this manipulation on your own, and I am afraid I will lose my saves? I am no confident in my ability to delete/move files without error. I also feel like we should not have to do that ourselves to be able to play the event.
