[GRO] Infant/Toddler wont achieve milestones
While playing today my infant got the sit up milestone. However the game would not progress further. This is my first time having the bug since the update and getting new packs. This has been in the Sims 4 since the start , Your sim goes onto a dance floor to dance with their date or partner after you click dance together , Every single time they dance apart and away from each other Game patched to latest patch each time No Mods All exp packs and game packs except the business pack
[HSY] Teen Sim Fails to Become Valedictorian Despite Meeting Requirements
Okay, bridging first.. I discovered that a Teen Sim must have a Grade A in high school, a maxed performance bar, ace the exam, and age up within a week (by Saturday) to become Valedictorian. I successfully applied this to three Sims in my main save file (it's not vanilla, mods/CC installed). These three Sims always gave Valedictorian speeches at graduation. The somehow, I recently encountered a bug with two of my teen Sims: • Case 1: Sim "X" became Valedictorian upon aging up, but at the graduation ceremony, another Sim had the "Valedictorian" tag, and my Sim didn’t give the speech. This persists in the same patch as a previous success. I don't have pict for this case, cuz I just "okay let it go, he still got a Valedictorian trait tho" • Case 2: Sim "Y" met all requirements (Grade A, maxed performance, "aced it" moodlet), aging up the same day with the buff active, but received a pop-up stating she graduated with honors instead. This disappointed me so much :( cuz she is the last teen Sim, so I played with her until she maxed out the age bar. Pict attached below Steps to Reproduce: Ensure Teen Sim has Grade A, maxed performance bar, and "aced it" moodlet -> Age up Sim within a week of the exam (by Saturday) -> Observe the pop-up window -> attend the graduation, check every Sim tag, wait until valedictorian speech sessions. Expected Result: Sim becomes Valedictorian and gives a speech at graduation. Actual Result: • Case 1: Another Sim takes Valedictorian tag/speech. • Case 2: Sim graduates with honors despite meeting criteria. Platform: PC Game Version: 1.116.240.1020 DX11 Mods/CC: Yes, this is my main save file. I can give you my save, but some Sim will lose their CAS CC (Hair & make-up). Aditional Notes: This issue is confusing as conditions (patch, mods/CC) remain unchanged from successful cases, so I think using Mods/CC not much impacted the bug. So, I've been having an issue with one specific Sim, who used the Moondrop Springs method to become a Fairy on the day EBN released. While she's in her HUMAN Form, and even if I remove her Occult Status, she has Wings in her Human form, but only in the Change Outfit menu and any UI Portrait appearance (Relationship menu from other Sims' perspective, etc.). At first, it seemed like purely an aesthetic/graphical glitch, but it interferes with her in other ways, some involving mods, but also, if I try to travel with her (or sometimes with someone in her Household) to any Lot in Everdew, I get an infinite loading screen, which is one factor in why I can't remove her Occult status without Cheats (and CAS doesn't work properly, because it doesn't fully register that she IS one). Also, even if I CAN get her to Everdew, I can't ask Mother Nature to start the process to remove her Fairy status, because the only dialog option that shows up is the one to BECOME a Fairy, as if she hadn't become one. If it helps narrow down the cause, she first met Mother Nature to become a Fairy in the first place in Everdew, so she didn't need to travel to the area to finish the process. I'm attaching a Save, where I switched to her Household from my current main one, reset her Fairy Perk Points AND Rank (she was Radiant, I set her back to Faint), and then turned her back into a regular Human. Along with a screenshot of the Outfit menu AFTER doing that, meaning she's not a Fairy at all, but you can see she still has Wings. The Sim you're looking for is Dakota Sparks, she was the currently selected Sim when I did the Save, but if it loads in on another household member, you'll know which one it is. I DO play with Mods, but I tested an Un-Modded Save, and the issue was still present. I've also attempted to remove and re-add the Occult Status through any method I could, to no avail. I've also tried altering and even removing her Wings in CAS (as in setting her Fairy Form to not have Wings, while keeping her as a Fairy). The only thing I haven't tried YET (which I will after I post this, then edit in the results) is to have her initiate the process to regain her Fairy powers from somewhere outside of Everdew.
Goofballs obsessed with mischief and etc...
So I get a goofball would like to be goofy and be mischievous but they doing more harm than good. It's damaging the relationship with loved ones by being mischievous I rather be funny then just pulling pranks and lying all the time then my Sims are being mean again to each other and that's giving unwanted gameplay in the game it's unnecessary drama again in the game. [COL] Missing textures wild fox eyes
Hello, my wild foxes have been missing textures for over three years. It makes no difference which save game I'm playing. Custom eyes don't solve the problem; the eyes remain without texture. It's not a big deal, but I would be happy if the bug could be fixed. ❤️ Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted tag
[GRO] Random Milestone Moodlets
Both adult sims have milestone moodlets, but have never experienced those milestones. One has the Sting of Rejection (from Recalling a Milestone), the other has Hated and Sad About It and Bladder Blunder. I've checked both of their Milestone panels, and neither have milestones associated with these moodlets. I have also never seen these moodlets pop-up for either of them until today after updating the game. Edit By Crinrict: Added pack tag to title.
Excessive Shopping Cart Popups
Since the last patch I have had continual popups show up on the shopping cart icon, promoting the, Grange Mud Room kit. I used to get a popup every now and again advertising this and that, but now it happens, every time I travel with a sim, every time I enter and leave CAS, every time I go into edit world. It covers in game notifications and is very distracting. At first when I enter the game there is noting on the cart for about 5 minutes, then the light shows up and the popups begin. I am playing on PC, in a completely vanilla game that has never had mods/CC installed. I have all Expansion, game and stuff pack and also have most kits. I am finding this situation to be very invasive in my gaming time and it is putting me off playing and definitely putting me off purchasing any more kits or up and coming packs.
