Re: [LD] Relationships lost with sims after rebirth

I'm playing with the rebirth feature for the third time now and relationships to loved ones from a past life are not maintained as intended. Either my Sims don't recognize anyone from their past life, neither friends, romantic interests, family members, or they remember only a few select people they meet during their infant life stage. I've done a bit of testing with my current save and in order to recognize someone from their previous life they had to quickly meet up after reincarnation. If I wait longer than a few days the reborn Sim will no longer recognize them. And sometimes reborn Sims won't even recognize their loved ones after immediately meeting with them, so it's a random hit or miss for me.

For example in my current save file the reborn Sim remembers one love interest from his previous life who I immediately introduced to him after rebirth. Then I played a little longer and had him meet his former best friend and son and there was no recognition. In a different save file another reborn Sim would recognize his former sister and some friends he met as an infant, but not his former parents who he met as a child.

All of my affected reborn Sims had the romantic sage reward trait before rebirth, which is known to cause some issues, so I removed it with a cheat code before they went into the lake. But I don't know if the persistent bug I'm having with relationships has anything to do with that. Please investigate this issue. Rebirth is marketed as a major feature for the Life and Death EP and ought to be working properly. Those missing relationships, and therefore missing sentiments and dialogue options, are ruining the storytelling potential.

I play on PC without mods or CC. I did use mods in the affected saves until last year but deleted them before this issue started to appear.
