Re: [Patch 1.117 on] When Loading ANY Household, Returns to World Select Screen

Hi, I wanted to report an issue I'm having with The Sims 4. When I create a new family and get the option to choose a house, I click on the house I want, but instead of loading the game, it plays the startup sound and then resets; a blue corner—like the "family" indicator—appears, but when I go to the world where the house is located, the family isn't there. I'm not sure if this is a problem with my custom content or a bug. Also, the Sims I created in 2024 have disappeared from my Gallery after I restarted my computer.

floppilvs Are you a mod user? The August 2025 patch (1.117) broke many, many script mods, with this being the symptom, and these are still the mods most likely to be your problem. Unfortunately, many of these broken mods are still online for downloading!

If you are not a mod user, if renaming the Mods folder still blocks loading ALL households (not just previously played ones), or you are actually on console, please reply with an @ and let me know.
