I've been playing with the scientist career on the get to work pack and part of it is completely busted, when you try and give a sim the ghost goo, which states, "drink this serum to temporarily turn your sim into a ghost" key word, "temporarily" its supposed to end, however to sims outside my household it never goes back they stay ghosts no matter what, also I am not unable to invite them back so i can at least try and see if my presence breaks this bug, I don't understand how despite it being days in Sim time they havent ever turned back to flesh and blood Sims.

Does it matter what type of death ?

It's not overheating death they haven't died at all of anything, they simply drank the ghost goo and have remained as ghosts, they will not turn back to normal sims, the game thinks they are dead but they are very much alive just under the ghost goo effect, which on them has never run out even though it should only last a certain time. THEY ARE NOT DEAD! Just to clarify, they are not dead nor have died.
Yes but they should still have a death type even if it's temporarily. I think they should have a trait that shows the type (at least that's how I understand it from the reports).
For the user in the thread I linked it seems they got a type that was from a pack that they didn't have.
