Off the grid lot challenge keeps lot from loading/ Error 109:f967dc7f
*edit: I've finally been able to fix this by deleting the off-the-grid trait off my lot. Hopefully this will get fixed soon* I've just finished the update and am now unable to load the household I've been playing with. I can open the initial home screen but the game won't load after clicking "resume". If I try and load through the saved games tab I can load the neighbourhood, but again, not the actual household/saved game. I'm also only able to end the application while on the loading screen through task manager, the x doesn't shut the window. [DO] Can't request table in restaurant on a date
Hello! When playing the sims 4 I have asked other sims on a date or to hang out then travel to a restaurant. When requesting a table to be seated, nothing happens. The game doesn't proceed to the next action for the couple/friends to be seated. I have repaired and updated the game, but still no solution. I have noticed that when my sim is alone and requests a table to sit and dine, they are able to do so. It only happens during an event like asking on a date or hang out. [LS] LE/Reset when trying to do romantic interactions
Play on PC. I purchased Lovestruck and the game updated. I haven’t played since before the update. When I played today, the woohoo and try for baby interaction is there on the sims and bed, but when you click on it the sims glitch and nothing happens. Unable to try for baby. Very disappointed that I can’t play anymore because of it. How am I supposed to continue my legacy family without being able to try for baby? Please fix this bug. Teenager don't get third trait on aging/no Graduation
Just had a sim age up from a teen to a young adult. No notification popped up to select a new trait so they are stuck with 2 traits still when they should have 3. Additionally, they graduated from high school with "average rank" whilst being an A student (with the gold tick). I've only ever had sims age up with at least the "graduated with honours" trait whilst being an A student. For context, this child was adopted so unsure if this has anything to do with it, although I've had sims adopt in the past and this bug hasn't happened. This sim also didn't age up with the "high self esteem" trait from child to teen despite having high confidence as a child. Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted Title fit bug report at AHQ
[XB] Game crashing when placing diagonal roofs
When building in Wendenburg on the estate (64x64 lot), I was using diagonal roofing and when I go to “snap” the diagonal roof to the straight facing roof my game completely closes out. This is the THIRD time this has happened. I usually NEVER reach out about things as the community does a VERY good job at keeping up with bugs but I’ve noticed that’s mainly within live mode. I’m not sure if any other information is necessary or needed. I play on console, Xbox series. I don’t own ALL packs but most. I build more than I play and have never had an issue with diagonal roofs even when intersecting them with another diagonal roof which I was unable to do. I didn’t think it was the lot itself as I have built on said lot before in the past with no issues. Also, to add to the roofing “issue”, circle roofs and the more than 4 point roofs show up inside the rooms/ house when building with them. sorry to make this a big rant but I feel it’s important just for the fact it’s crashed my game alone 3 times. I truly hope whatever coding is needed can be made in order to fix this for console players as I’m unsure if pc players have this issue. Thank you ! Overlapping festivals
The festivals from City Living keep stacking on top of one another instead of despawning. My SIM lives in 19 Culpepper House and I play on an Xbox One. I do not use any CC or mods as I am a console player I first noticed this bug yesterday 20/8/24 but it has escalated today, I tried going into manage worlds and back, visiting different lots and festival locations, and restarting the game. Some items and color swatches missing from game after 9/18/24 update (Xbox)
On my xbox series x console before the update on 9/18/24 my sim in live mode was wearing a sweatshirt that comes with the sims 4 university pack (that I own and have installed) with a specific color swatch that is light gray with dark grey sleaves (I also have an exact copy of this sim in my library that was created before the 9/18/24 update and in the household photo he is still wearing the university sweatshirt with the color swatch of light gray with dark gray sleaves). After the update on 9/18/24 I launched the sims 4 and loaded the save file that already has him in live mode and visited his household with another household I play, and he was wearing his default outfit and he was naked except for shoes (I can't remember what pants he was wearing but those are also missing). Then I opened up the saved household that I have of him in create a sim and I got a message that some items were removed because I either don't own or don't have that content installed and he was only wearing shoes for his default outfit. I then tried opening that same household from my library into create a sim in all of my other save files and I got the same message, and he was only wearing shoes for his default outfit. Then I created a new save file and tried opening that same household in that save file and I had the same problem. I then tried finding the university sweatshirt in cas to have him wear it again and it was there except for the same color swatch of it that he was wearing before the update. Also, I tried opening other households that were created before the update, and I am getting the same error with some of them in different outfit categories, and they are wearing different clothes, but I can't remember exactly what they were wearing before the update. I don't seem to be missing anything else from the sims 4 university pack as far as I can tell, but I'm not sure if it is just the university pack. Initially when I first noticed my sim was only wearing shoes in live mode, I didn't think much about it or investigate it further at the time because I have noticed in the past that my sims in households, I'm currently not playing often change their outfits to something I did not assign them to wear so I figured it was just one of those moments. However, on 9/26/24 which is the day after I completed the week one reaper event quests, I loaded my save file and once it was done loading and I got to manage worlds I got a message that game content is missing and if I save the game that data will be lost and that's when I started investigating why my sim was only wearing shoes. I have been getting that error randomly in all of my save files. I started a brand-new save file on 9/27/24 and I got the game content missing error in that save file on 9/29/24. I have tried playing with online social settings on and off. My xbox series x console is set as my home console. I am playing the sims 4 with the same xbox profile that I purchased the game and all the packs I have installed, and I signed out and back into my xbox profile. I tried uninstalling and re-installing the Sims 4 game as well as all the packs I own. I tried clearing the cache on my xbox series x.
