Re: [FIXED] Sims are not moving/Freezing/Animation problems

I have run into a problem after the Lovestruck patch where in live mode my sims won't go and complete actions but stay in place with idle animation running, and the action bar shows them doing said action but more rapidly than normal. Very soon they completely refuse to do anything, and keep standing, resetsim helps get them unstuck and be abke to move but after that the same issues persist. Only "move here" action works. At first I thought it was a problem with my mods, so I updated everything and repaired the game, cleared cache etc. After that the issues persisted so I refreshed the game files and played on a new save only to see that the problem was still there in a fresh vanilla game. Live mode is now completely unplayable, but CAS and build mode work normally for me.

I am also having the same issue with Live mode since the Lovestruck patch. Sims refuse to do any task, save for the 'move here' action. Sometimes I am able to complete a task like using the toilet, but Sims and pets mainly just move around or are stationary. No other actions are functional, Sims cannot interact with each other or most/all items on the lots.

I first removed all expansion packs and CC, but the game still does not improve. Even adding only the expansions back (except for Lovestruck) did not make a difference. I've tried repairing the game, it is fully up to date, cleared cache etc etc but nothing has changed.

The most recent patch with the two new kits did not improve or fix the issues. As of 9/28/24 the game is unplayable. Only CAS and Build/Buy mode work correctly.
