Spine distortion on male Sims with female frame

I like playing feminine male sims, they are what I play the majority of the time. But I noticed a issue when I was creating a new male sim with the feminine body type. They have this weird triangle shape on the back of their bottoms; distorting their body and clothes. And I'm pretty sure their bodies were just fine before Lovestruck.

It would only fix itself with very few clothing items and it happens with both masculine and feminine items.

I tested it with and without mods/cc. Is there anything that can be done to fic this? I attached screenshots to show what I mean.

    You're welcome!

Also, it would appear EAxis has finally noticed there's a problem and we might finally get officially fixed next update, which means I will be updating my BUGFIX with the new Deformer Maps (providing it's actually new Deformer Maps).

Now, if only EAxis would notice this - [ARCHIVED] Sims wear default underwear when naked | EA Forums - 11663791 - because it's more serious than just "broken underwear".

  • This Get Together top for masculine framed sims (ymTop_EP02SweaterShirtCollared, if my sims 4 studio digging was successful?) looks okay on feminine framed sims from the front, but has this weird v-shaped distortion on the back. I've attached pictures showing the item on both a feminine and masculine framed sim to show the difference.

(honestly a HUGE number of masculine tops in the game have this issue when worn on feminine frames, after looking through the content of the first few EPs I would guess it's an issue on about half of them? Maybe more depending on how picky you are. It's less noticeable when there aren't any really patterned swatches, of course, but there's often some weirdness going on at the hem right along the spine. and as my next post will demonstrate, it's not jsut the early EPs that have this issue!)

  • Okay, this time from High School Years. Same issue. Masculine top when worn on a feminine framed sim has v-shaped distortion running down the spine, in this case very noticeably at the bottom hem. Item is ymTop_EP12VestShirt

It doesn't feel like a good use of my time to make individual posts for half the adult masculine tops in the game when it's very much the same recurring issue I'm seeing. Also feels like I'd just be clogging this thread up with incredibly repetitive posts. Like, at this point, it'd be worth EA's time to just open up CAS themselves and check them all for this, cause it really is SO many items. But if it would be useful and would result in the items actually getting put on a list for future fixes rather than me just doing a load of pointless work that'll be ignored, I'd be willing to do it.

Gingerxyz Thanks for reporting. Spine distortion is a general issue and is on the laundry list to be fixed.

    I moved your posts over.

Male Sims with a feminine frame can now wear certain tops without any spine distortion.
