Hey all,
We have identified the cause of an issue with Child Sims experiencing body distortion, and we are working to release an update which will resolve this issue in existing saves. Child Sims in brand new saves will not be affected by this bug. In the meantime, you can manually restore your Sims by using the following workaround:
- Open the cheat window with CTRL+SHIFT+C. Console folks, you can plug in a USB keyboard to do so.
- Type in “testingcheats true” and hit enter.
- Type in “CAS.fulleditmode” and hit enter.
- Shift click (B + A on Xbox, O + X on PlayStation) on your Child Sim and select “Modify in CAS” from the pie menu.
- In the top left of the screen, change the gender of your Child Sim, and then change it back.
- The Sim should be back to normal, click the tick button in the bottom right of the screen to return to Live mode.
- To remove cheats, open the cheat window with CTRL+SHIFT+C.
- Type in “CAS.fulleditmode false” and hit enter.
- Type in “testingcheats false” and hit enter.
Thanks for the workarounds, but a couple of issues:
- Console doesn't need a keyboard. We just press RT + LT and RB + LB at the same time to open the cheat window.
- This workarounds disables achievements, which you should warn people.

MyOnlySUNSHlNE Thanks so much for flagging this!
Looks like you don't actually need testingcheats true enabled to enter CAS.fulleditmode and I've updated my post accordingly.
Again, you're a rock star, thank you so much!- EmaMartinez_1811 days agoSeasoned Novice
And the werewolfs bug? I wanted to know please if you are also investigating the werewolfs, since their eyes are distorted (the black line does not appear correctly) the color of their nose does not change, nor does the shape of their lips.
