Server Error uploading to gallery/library
This is the text in the error message: Server error. We could not process this gallery request. Please try again later. I tried uploading the image from my phone, but I can't get my laptop to do so. I couldn't find a thread about this already when I looked. Apologies if there is one I missed. The Uptown area of San Myshuno has quite a few visual issues. Rather than create a thread for each, I'm collecting them all here. The greenery that hangs from the upper walkways has the wrong shader assigned which means the alpha channel doesn't work. For some reason it has the 'Road' shader instead of 'Phong'. Switching it to 'Phong' fixes the issue. The two small waterfalls in the central area run upwards instead of downwards. Rotating the uv mapping 180 degrees fixes this. (They need more tweaking to make the texture mapping actually look good and uniform though. The middle section texture clearly looks narrower than the outer side pieces.) The Steel girders that run around the perimeter of the area have their undersides meshed inside-out, so when viewed from underneath you can see the sky. This also means they cast a broken shadow. The various stone planters in the area are placed inconsistently with each other in a way that means some clip through wall sections, others flicker through the walls depending on the camera angle, and some flicker through the glass fences. The planter objects themselves are poorly textured. Join lines between blocks don't match up and some don't connect to matching joins on a neighbouring surface at all. All of these issues are well within the playable area where you would expect players to be looking and interacting with objects nearby so you don't have to look hard to find them. I'm playing on game version 1.114.46.1030 DX11 with graphics set to maximum. I own EP01, EP02, EP03, EP04, EP05, EP06, EP07, EP09, EP10, EP11, EP12, EP13, EP17, EP18, GP01, GP02, GP03, GP04, GP05, GP06, GP07, GP08, GP10, GP12, SP01, SP02, SP03, SP04, SP05, SP06, SP07, SP08, SP09, SP10, SP11, SP12, SP13, SP14, SP15, SP16, SP17, SP18 and a handful of Kits. Ever since patch 1.117.221.1020 (August 19, 2025) I have had this error when trying to upload Lots to the Gallery; whereas, prior to the August 19th patch everything worked perfectly/as expected. So far, I have: Removed Mods; which didn't make a difference, the error still persists Repaired the Game several times; which didn't make a difference, the error still persists Started a Fresh/New Save; which didn't make a difference, the error still persists Re-saved Lot to Library and tried to upload a new copy; which didn't make a difference, the error still persists. Reset the Game to Factory settings without Reinstalling via Crinrict's site; which also didn't make a difference. I was playing for hours on 10/30, my sim was running her hair salon which also is a kindve a spa...the sims were receiving makeovers, hair-dos and massages, etc. In addition to these things I had many items for sale on various surfaces. Everything was working, sims were buying--no problems. Suddenly...literally overnight as of 10/31 my sims can't sell anything. I can't even select an item for them to sell. I copied my mods in another folder elsewhere on my computer, removed the sims 4 folder entirely from the game, cleared the cache and did a game repair. Loaded the game again on a fresh Sims 4 folder. Loaded ONLY my saves so that I could try and test things. Went into a household that only has the tattoo business...clicked on the items I could previously sell there from the pack (Business & Hobbies) easily. Still cannot click or select anything. A couple of items only bring up with some option to go into create-a-sim for some crazy reason. Hello, Since my bug report been archived and lost in the deep mountain, I restart a new one with all the updated ressources. TESTED WITH AND WITHOUT MODS/CLEAN SAVE, THIS BUG OCCURS ALL THE TIME. I am a modder and an animator and it seems that the eyelids doesn't translate correctly in the game like it used to be since this bug was introduced, and it's still there with the new patch. When the sim looks downside, the bottom eyelids don't move at all, making sims looks creepy (the eyes go inside the eyelid). I did some animations with the eyelids moving down while the eyes are looking down, and the animation from the eyelids doesn't translate correctly in the game at all. It affects any animations in the game right now. This is an example using CAS with maxis animations, where the eyes aren't closing completely due to the eyelids animations not translating correctly in the game. Before the eyelashes patch, they were closing just fine. For this test, I did a simple sleeping pose I will use to demonstrate the bug, because unfortunately it's the only way to explain the issue more properly, by comparing in an animating program and then how it translates in the game. To achieve this result in the game with the eyes being closed like this : In a posing/animating program, I had to do this : There is clearly an error of how the eyelids translate in the game since the lovestruck patch. I'd like to know if maxis is aware of this issue and if they will fix this, as it affect every animations in the game. If I'm closing the eyes as usual in the program, this is the result I get in the game : And no, it's not the program fault. This happens since the lovestruck patch and again, it affects all the animations from the game, even the vanilla ones. I believe a data from the eyelids or something similar has been touched and it needs to be reverted back. Hi. I have exactly the same issue, but with a normal sim (not a fairy). My sim has several reward traits that completely remove the need for the toilet and other basic needs. Free will is disabled, all motives are full, and there are no visible or hidden buffs related to bladder or discomfort. However, the sim still occasionally gets the toilet thought bubble and the “holding stomach” animation, even though the bladder motive should be disabled. I tried removing all traits, resetting the sim, deleting caches — the issue still happens. Fully updated base game with all current packs installed. No mods in use during testing. Any idea how to fix this on my side? my adult sims are unable to use the stairs. children and toddlers and pets all work fine, but i get an error with adult sims saying they can’t get to the stairs. i saw a post once saying to remove any railing/fencing and that worked for maybe five minutes until suddenly it didn’t anymore and i was back to square one. i’ve changed the layout of the stairs, removed any objects around them. i was able replicate the issue without any mods/cc installed.28Views0likes5Comments[AA] Child sim cancels interactions to play on BamCo playground equipment
I am trying to have my child Sim complete the Rambunctious Scamp aspiration. But she won't sit down to complete the "practice typing" part; she always immediately jumps up to go and play on the new BamCo playground equipment from the new EP Adventure Awaits (which is in her backyard). My only workaround is to remove the equipment from the lot. I am playing on PC and have not used mods in many months due to the bugs they were creating. Tested with NO mods and a freshly repaired game on ver1.118.257.1020 Can someone please confirm this bug in their game? Reach Enhancement Level 4 to unlock 3 behavior modules and the ability to toggle between them. Have the Party Machine module activated. Travel with the Servo or reload the lot while the module is active. Observe inventory behavior. When the Party Machine module is activated via picker_HumanoidRobot_BehaviorModule_Add_Limited, the following loot action is triggered: 219835 <!--loot_Humanoid_Robots_BehaviorModules_Add_PartyBot--> This loot is intended to create a MusicProvider object by definition in the Servo’s hidden inventory: Name: InviseractableModelGEN_PartyBot_MusicProvider Instance: 00000000000387A8 InstanceDecimal: 231336 The object is correctly added to the hidden inventory, but after loading or changing lots (when the Servo is instanced), the object becomes visible in the inventory UI. This action is intended to destroy the MusicProvider object and checks for it in the hidden inventory.
