Ideas
Today i decided to play EA sports wrc after a long time of not playing (i had launching issues in the past). I launched the game today and it loaded in so i could see a car and my character and click things but then 5 seconds later it closed itself and no crash report or anything showed up.
I've tried: repairing game files in the EA app (i bought the game in epic games store), updating my graphics card drivers, reinstalling anticheat, running the game with -dx11 command but nothing helped, it still crashes within 10 seconds after loading in.
Do any of you guys have the same issue or know a solution? Tomorrow ill try to uninstall and reinstall the game if nothing fixes it.

Same issue here and with other people as well. Game launches and after around a minute or so the game just crashes. I've also tried everything you've done. Rolling back drivers and updates, reinstalling everything and nothing changed it's still crashing.
I just downloaded the game for the first time too so this being my first impression isn't the greatest even :/
hopefully they can roll out a fix soon cause it's just mad annoying to deal with rn game is unplayable - davixdav2 months agoNew Spectator

i have the exact issue too, i've been playing fine for a couple of days and now it's crashing to desktop with no error code every single time after around 10 secs on the main menu.
I've also done everything you said and nothing has changed, i even reinstalled the game twice and it's still doing it - DreCol022 months agoSeasoned Newcomer
Hi, I am experiencing the exact same issue.
The game was working perfectly before (I played for around 3 hours without any crash), then suddenly it started closing itself shortly after entering the main menu.
In my case it crashes around 60 seconds after launch, with no error message or crash report.
I have already tried:
- Repairing game files through EA App
- Reinstalling the game
- Reinstalling EA Anti-Cheat
- Clearing EA App cache
- Clean installing NVIDIA drivers
- Running DISM and SFC Windows repairs
- Testing RAM (no errors found)
- Creating a new Windows administrator account
Nothing changed.
In Windows Event Viewer I get:
- Faulting application: EADesktop.exe
- Faulting application: EAGEP.exe
- Faulting module: ntdll.dll
- Exception code: 0xc0000005 (Access violation)
It looks very similar to what other users are reporting recently: the game worked normally and then suddenly started crashing in the main menu after a few seconds.
Hopefully EA can identify the cause because the usual troubleshooting steps do not seem to fix it.

What is happening? I wake up everyday and race a few and today is the first day in months if not years that I am crashing. Please fix

This is quite literally an outrage. Been playing fine for years and now it's crashing just like you mentioned. I've also tried everything to fix it. The game appears to be permanently broken. Sad day.

First time playing the game today and also crashing either in the intro cinematic or in character creation if i skip the cinematic, tried all the fixes people suggested over the years for previous issues of the game crashing and nothing has worked.
