I would try to escalate with a human customer service representative and get a refund. This game has been dropped by devs for several months now and nothing is getting fixed. This issue happens to me on and off; I have no idea why it happens. it doesn't seem like anyone does. you can try waiting it out and seeing if the game spontaneously starts working but that's up to you.
