How to update your EA Forums name

On this forum we use your EA ID for your name, which might be different from your experience with some of the older forums where a different name/ID could be used.

With this change, you might have a display name here that's sensitive or otherwise undesirable, so here's how to change it. 

1: Go to https://myaccount.ea.com/cp-ui/aboutme/index 
2: In the About Me tab, click Edit next to Basic Information

3: You'll be prompted to pass a security check. 

4: Once this is done, you can edit your EA ID, as well as some other personal details.
 

5: Back on the forum, this might take a few minutes to work, but soon your name will update! You might want to try logging out and back in to speed up the process.
