Getting Started - Welcome to the EA Forums!

This is our place to chat about games, help each other out, share feedback and report issues with EA games. 

Welcome to the EA forums! 

To get started, you can check the articles listed below for the basics of the new EA forums. 

We’ve tried to make things easy to navigate, but you can check the links below for anything you might be unsure of. 

This is a brand new space and things will keep evolving, so, we will of course be taking feedback, and changes will be coming based on this feedback.

At the moment, only English is supported, but more language boards are coming.

If you’re a veteran of the old EA Forums, or familiar with Answers HQ, you might want to skip ahead to the “What’s New” section.

      Hero and champion are assigned by EA. There is no set time for these. If you instead meant Expert then I assume it takes the same amount of postings as on the other forum. EA might implement a way to convert the old ranks to the new ones here.

    I've only been using these forums for a couple weeks, and they've been slow to load from the beginning on my android phone, but the last few days they haven't loaded at all without several reload attempts. Then, once the forums do load, I'm seeing the welcome page for an account that is not mine. Going to the Game Hub corrects the issue, but it's very odd and I doubt I'm the only person experiencing this misdirection.

    I think i have someone elses profile.  My name is random characters that id never use.

      oops, sorry, I thought I was replaying to GoodFeather-007 above. I too got assigned a random name instead of my old forum name. Email address is OK.

    Were not able to link to X yet. I don't know if this is a bug or this feature hasn't yet been turned on.

      Update

      This is fixed on my end. I was told by another simmer to click on the cog at the far right on the top page to edit. I overlooked that so this isn't really broken.

    idk if this is a bug, but this thread barely fills half of the screen width. it's like i'm navigating this phone on a phone, while on a computer

    I'm getting an error message. It says there was an error adding your like. Currently on my Windows PC. Not sure if this is also happening on the mobile phone version but it's something that needs to be fixed on the pc.
