Welcome back to The Weekly Grind, San Vanners! Let’s roll! What’s going on? Welcome to week 2 of the San Van Open! If you missed details on what’s coming this season, hit up the Season 4 blog here. The team is currently working on the next game update (Update 0.31.2), and we’ll share patch notes this week to prepare for the patch on June 15. We’ve got two interviews this week, so let’s get to it! ____________________ Fingerflips Q&A After sharing some videos last week, we sat down with Lance (Sr. Software Engineer) and Johnny (Gameplay Engineer and sponsored skateboarder) to dive a little deeper into how the Full Circle team brought fingerflips to skate. for Season 4. Why weren't fingerflips available at the launch of Early Access? Lance: When we were deciding what to focus on for Early Access, our priority was building a strong core skating experience. We wanted to support the features players loved from previous titles, while also innovating and improving the game in meaningful ways. Fingerflips were always on our roadmap. But it wasn’t like “copy and paste” from previous titles. We had to rebuild them from the ground up. Before that could happen, our goal was to establish a solid gameplay foundation and then expand into additional trick systems. Johnny: A big part of it comes down to opportunity cost. Every feature takes time and iteration, animation work, engineering effort, design, testing, etc. We prioritized features that would have the greatest impact across a wide range of situations. Lance: Yeah, we had to work our way down the list to get to Fingerflips, but now we're stoked to have them in the game, having given them the attention they deserve and delivered them as a returning feature. We hope players will have a ton of fun with them. How did the team approach bringing fingerflips into the game? Johnny: We wanted fingerflips to feel familiar to longtime players while also improving on what existed before. That meant preserving the legacy of Skate 3, where it made sense, while also expanding the system and making it more complete. We identified some gaps in previous implementations and worked to make the trick set more consistent and reliable. How many finger flip variations are available? Lance: There are 30 finger flip variations available. One of our goals was to fill in gaps. If a variation existed in one direction, we wanted players to have access to the equivalent variation in the opposite direction whenever possible. So for each Fingerflip there's a Fingerheel, and you can go Tail to Crail after a Crail to Tail, to name a few. Do fingerflips use the same inputs as Skate 3? Lance: Yep! The inputs are the same as skate. 3. If you've done fingerflips before, the system will feel familiar immediately. While you're holding a grab (either trigger), try doing the Flickit input for a Kickflip, Heelflip, or a FS or BS Shuv. That's how it's done. Johnny: We also expanded the system beyond what existed before. For example, fingerflips can now be performed out of Double Grabs and Coffins, which required us to get creative with the input design and ensure the controls remained comfortable and reliable. Were there any unique challenges while implementing fingerflips? Lance: One of the more interesting challenges involved making fingerflips work naturally from a coffin. We wanted the input to feel intuitive without forcing players into awkward controller gymnastics. That required experimentation and refinement to make sure the mechanic felt smooth and responsive. One funny aspect was actually coming up with a name for "Fingerheel." Since it's a more obscure trick, we couldn't dig up an agreed-upon name by the skate. community. So, we landed on Fingerheel. Are there plans to add even more fingerflip variations in the future? Johnny: We are pretty happy with where they are at right now, but never say never! Right now, our attention is on other mechanics and systems players are requesting. Lance: Player feedback always matters. If the community strongly supports additional fingerflip variations, we can evaluate them in the future. There are certainly more possibilities - especially involving one-footed and no-footed grabs - but every addition comes with animation and development costs. For now, we're excited about what we've delivered and are looking ahead to the next opportunities for the game. Any final thoughts for the community? Johnny: We're really stoked to finally get fingerflips into the game, and looking forward to seeing what players create with them and gravitate towards the most. I have my theories…but my personal favorite is a Stale flip. Lance: We'll be on the lookout for feedback and clips, so try them out, experiment with the new variations, and let us know what you'd like to see next. ____________________ The Stadium Q&A In Season 4, we’ve opened The Stadium (aka The Chum Bucket) for The San Van Open (with an update coming to the design for our mid-season update and the X Games San Van). From our World Design Director, Elliot: We sat down with Brad, Full Circle’s World Art Director, to discuss the design, the challenges the team faced, and the inspiration behind the stadium. What was the main goal when designing the stadium for Season 4? Brad: Our goal was to craft a new atmosphere that puts the spotlight directly on the player. The lighting, the crowd energy - it all works together, making you feel like you are the center of attention in a competition-like environment. How did audio influence the stadium experience? Brad: The team studied real-world skateboarding events to recreate the feeling of being at a live competition. Audio was a major part of that effort. Crowd reactions, environmental sounds, and spectator noise were designed to make players feel like their actions matter. The stadium also features a visible crowd that reacts audibly to gameplay, helping create a stronger connection between the player and the world around them. What inspired the design of the park inside the stadium? Brad: The team borrowed the idea of integrating city-inspired elements into a competition course from past real-life skate competitions. At the same time, they embraced the clean, minimalist visual style you often find in competition parks. The final design combines large city-inspired structures with a restrained color palette of gray, black, and yellow for the street park, with wood, and blue for the skater cross. This helps improve readability, creates authenticity, and keeps you focused on the skating experience. What were some of the biggest challenges in building the stadium? Brad: One major challenge was scale. The stadium is fictionally based on a hockey arena, but real hockey arenas are too small to accommodate the larger skateboarding features the team wanted to include. To solve this, the team expanded the interior space beyond what the exterior suggested (yes - it’s bigger on the inside) and built the stadium using a modular design (made of smaller pieces that can be rearranged or swapped out to change the footprint). This allowed the team to create a larger, more flexible venue while supporting the gameplay experiences we’ve envisioned. ____________________ What do you want to see an interview about next? Welcome to the 0.31.1 patch notes! The maintenance period for this patch begins on June 2, 9:30 a.m. PDT, and includes bug fixes, new features, gameplay improvements, and more for all platforms. Originally, this patch was going to be released as 0.31.0, but we had the ability to add a few more bug fixes to address pressing issues, so it will now be released as the new and improved patch 0.31.1. If you haven’t yet, take a look at our Season 4 article to learn more about new skateable areas (The Stadium’s interior is now open), Tricks, Modes, Seasonal Events, brands, soundtracks, and more coming to skate. in Season 4. General Gameplay Density Setting: You can now control the amount of other skaters, pedestrians, and vehicles that are simulated and rendered. Higher quantities increase demand on both your CPU and GPU. Find this setting in the Frame Rate section of the Graphics settings tab. Gameplay Fingerflips 30 Fingerflip trick variations can now be performed! Visit Skatepedia to learn how to do each one. Camera Follow Behaviour, Loose Setting When this setting is set to Loose, the camera follows the skater’s head during turning, flowing with the turn. When set to Tight—which is similar to the camera’s behavior prior to this update—the camera follows the skateboard during turning, making the camera follow much tighter with the turn. This setting is only active while on the ground and not while pushing. Loose is the default setting for Experienced controls. Navigate to the Gameplay tab in the settings and look for Camera Under On-Board Camera to toggle it. Audio Shiny Happy People Over 5,000 lines of voiced dialogue have been added for Pedestrians. They're more vocal now, talk on their phones and react to actions you take, like landing a cool trick in The Stadium or becoming annoyed when their vehicles become blocked. Feature Updates General Replay Editor You can now cancel out early when exporting a replay. Rearranged Graphical Settings The graphical settings UI has been restructured to bring more clarity to how the settings are connected. Render GPU and CPU Scoring To give you a better PC performance experience, we're continuing to update how we score users Render GPUs and CPUs based on live data. The scoring system slots each card into a more accurate global graphics quality tier. This change could potentially move some players up or down in visual quality, in favor of a better performance experience. Grind Trick Auto Correct Setting This setting can now be turned off by navigating to the Gameplay tab in the settings and look for Assists Under Difficulty Settings. This setting is on by default for Streamlined and Classic controls. Gameplay Riding and Steering Turning has been improved to give a better feel to skating and bring more flow to steering. Developer’s Note: We recommend testing out the improved turning with the new Loose Camera Follow Setting, as they were made to compliment each other. Session Marker to Lip Mount Now, if you save a Session Marker while in a Lip Mount, when you return to your marker, it will also return you to a Lip Mount position you can easily drop in from. Updated Scoring for Ollie Variations We cleaned up the scoring callouts for various Ollie variations, including Boned Ollies, One Foots, and FS/BS 180s. Unstuck Detection and Behaviour Unstuck detection has been tweaked. Developer’s Note: We know this detection was a bit too sensitive before. Overall this should help players to recover naturally after a slam that ends in a tight spot, rather than preferring to reposition the skater to a safe location. Straight Fakie Landing, Fakie Coffin, and One Foot Ollie Animations The animations of these tricks were cleaned up for a refreshed look and feel. Throwdowns Increased default boundary size. While increasing or decreasing the size of a boundary the camera zoom level will also adjust accordingly. Added the option to automatically start the Throwdown if more than two players are in the queue. Upon creating a Throwdown, settings will default to whatever you last used for your previous Throwdown. Tasks Daily Task progress is now displayed on the Main Menu Hub. Up to three Tasks can be Pinned, making them visible on the HUD and in a new tab. Challenges Streamlined the map with smaller icons when Challenges are completed. Developer’s Note: In this case, a challenge is still considered completed even if the Co-Op criteria has not been completed. Map Neighborhood Panels display Challenge, Mission, and Fast Travel progress. Bug Fixes General Fixed various stability issues. Fixed various quality issues affecting some cosmetics and character customization options. Fixed an issue where some Trophies or Achievements are not registering progress if the requirement was done on Isle of Grom. Fixed an issue where Product Boxes were duplicated and an Insufficient funds error displayed when trying to make the purchase. Fixed an issue where progress for the Without Footy It's Fiction trophy would get stuck despite meeting the requirements. Fixed an issue where players would rarely get stuck in a loading screen when Fast Traveling. Fixed an issue where players in a Party were unable to start a Challenge after cancelling a Fast Travel queue. Gameplay Fixed an issue where Reverts would sometimes cause the skater to look in the wrong direction. Fixed an issue where automatic Reverts would sometimes over rotate beyond 180 degrees. Fixed cases where grinds would sometimes fail to lock in. Fixed an issue where Roll Ins would activate unintentionally. Fixed an issue where a Roll In would take priority over grinding on a lip. Fixed an issue where drop ins would sometimes cause the back truck to get stuck, causing a slam. Fixed an issue with input responsiveness when performing a Late Flip. Fixed an issue where your skater’s animation would stutter or bail when landing a Hippy Jump while in air. Fixed an issue where your skater would lose momentum during a Hippy Jump if you tuck into a ball. Fixed various issues with camera stability and behavior. New Known Issues for Season 4 Rarely, a black screen appears when starting a challenge or throwdown on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Workaround: Rebooting skate. may resolve this issue. Pinned tasks do not remain pinned when the game reconnects after inactivity. The News button fails to redirect to the appropriate offer. Changing the graphics preset doesn’t update the settings shown at the bottom of the Graphics screen as it should. The first step of the Help Wanted mission, Coping Inspector, gets crossed out and doesn't progress when arriving at the target area. Welcome back to The Weekly Grind, San Vanners and Gromites! Let’s roll! What’s going on? The ZexyZek Creator Collab event has ended, and we’re one week from Season 4 launch. We’ve shared some details on lighting updates for Season 4 a couple of weeks ago, and last week we announced the update to the Hedgemont Community Park. Learn how Season 4’s redesigned community parks were shaped by player feedback, with tighter layouts, real-world inspiration, and stronger social skate energy from our chat with Elliot, our World Design Director. What’s changing with the Hedgemont community park in Season 4? How did Season 3’s Gullcrest updates influence Season 4? In Season 3, we overhauled all of the parks in Gullcrest Warehouse Park. We went through every single one and redesigned them without making a big announcement, so we could see whether tightening things up, streamlining the experience, and creating a more community feel would land well with players. We also heard players asking for more real-world-inspired locations, so we started leaning into that, but not 1:1 remakes. We applied what we learned from Gullcrest to the helipad park and the new community park we’re creating. Why are the parks becoming smaller and more focused? One of the biggest changes has been reducing the overall size and complexity of the parks. Smaller, more focused spaces do a better job of bringing players together and creating that proper community skate-session vibe. On top of that, we've expanded our skatepark build kit with tons of new options for designers to choose from. That gives each community park a lot more personality and variety, while ensuring that each park layout feels unique in the right way. What kinds of skate experiences should players expect from the updated community parks? Since Season 1, we’ve heard the community feedback, so the community lots are more focused on the skatepark experience first. Some are designed around bowls and vert and others are built more like real-life plazas, whether fictional or inspired by actual spots. We are listening to the feedback so we are interested to hear what other types of parks the players want to see moving forward. Are community lots considered finished after these changes? Community lots are never finished! We also want to offer new and novel skateable stuff, we just need to balance them with all of the work we are doing elsewhere, but these spaces are still something we’re actively building on. We can’t focus only on community lots while also supporting Grom, new areas, world changes, and seasonal updates, so we’ve been steadily improving them over time. It’s been a gradual process from December to now, and the work continues. ________ And we dropped some new info on Fingerflips coming in Season 4. The Hub What’s in Season 4 Welcome to The Stadium and San Van Open New Features and Improvements skate.Pass for Season 4 Updated Events Welcome to the San Van Open, skate.’s Season 4, starting June 2, 2026 until August 25, 2026! During the San Van Open, the SVCC is transforming the city into one giant skate festival. New sponsors are flooding in with gear while skaters from every corner of San Van storm the streets and battle for glory. First up, check out an overview of what you can expect in Season 4 and beyond in our updated roadmap. Since our last roadmap, we’ve made some big moves. Finger flips are officially coming to San Van in Season 4, landing right off the bat on June 2. Limited-time X Games Spot Battles will follow as part of our mid-season update. Proximity chat, underflips, and improved footplants are now in development, meaning we’re actively working on them but don’t have an ETA on when they’ll land. Our matchmaking system hit a bump in the road, so we’ve moved it back into the “On the Radar” section while we work out the kinks. We’ve also started jamming on ideas for Character Improvements and Improved No Complies. We'll share more details later in the season as we continue working - let’s focus on what’s coming to San Van throughout Season 4. Coming in Season 4 Before we break it all down, here’s a quick list of what’s coming to San Van throughout Season 4: New area: The inside of The Stadium is now open Improved Community Parks, and an update to Hedgemont Park New and updated tricks and Skatepedia updates: Fingerflips New brand partners: Spitfire Wheels, Real Skateboards, Thunder Trucks, Quasi Skateboards, Carpet Company, Vinyl Skateboards New game mode: X Games Spot Battles (coming mid-season) New feature: Skater Codes (coming mid-season) New tracks to the soundtrack: 21 new tracks A new skate.Pass (with improvements and tuning), as well as more brands in the skate.Pass, tattoos, the ability to earn up to 1,500 SVB through the skate.Premium Pass, and more Quality of life improvements: Updated lighting on Isle of Grom and San Van, Pinning Tasks, Gameplay Density settings, restructured graphical settings, and more Seasonal events: Go Skate Weekend and X Games Bug fixes (details coming on June 1, 2026 via the 0.31.0 patch notes) Season 4 Deep Dive Check out below for a deep dive into what’s ready to rock on Day 1 - and what will be dropping later in the season. Lighting Update First up, summer has officially kicked off in San Van, and the world team has reworked the lighting to match. Here’s what our Sr. Lighting Director had to say about the changes: Since we launched skate. Early Access, we’ve kept San Van at a steady time of day throughout Seasons 1-3: partly for consistent look and feel, partly for technical reasons behind the scenes. For Season 4, we wanted to shake that up a bit and lean into the summer vibe, so we’ve shifted to an early afternoon, high-sun feel. That “perfect California summer” atmosphere. No better time to skate! How would you describe the Season 3 lighting? We wanted to find a more ownable look for Seasons 2 and 3, so we moved toward later-afternoon lighting, leaning a bit more toward the golden hour. You know, the sun isn't quite that low in the sky, but we wanted it to feel kind of warm and inviting, like that nice, warm, sunny, hazy afternoon. How would you describe the shift from Season 2/3 to Season 4, and the intention behind it? From Season 2 and 3 to 4, this was a good time to introduce a time-of-day change to San Van, because we had already done a significant time-of-day change in Grom before that, from sunset to nighttime. So, we're like, okay, we need to bring in a bit more variation and move it slightly more toward high noon, maybe pre-noon. So the sun moved across the sky, shifting the angle of all the downtown shadows, kind of freshening the city's vibe and giving old spots a new perspective. Some areas that used to be in direct sun are now in shadow, and vice versa. What visual signatures define the Season 4 lighting update? For this change, we wanted more vibrant, clearer skies, a noon-time with a different sun angle, and a heavier vignette as the other main component. So if you look at a side-by-side of Season 2 and 3 compared to Season 4, the vignette is much stronger. Why bring in a stronger vignette? A strong vignette really centers your attention on the center of the screen, where your skater is. It gives a nice fall-off to the periphery of the frame. Anything you can tease about Season 5 and beyond? There are exciting things on the horizon, and we're constantly expanding our lighting repertoire. Visual Refresh As always, the city’s getting a visual refresh for the new season. You’ll notice updated paint, art, and environmental touches around Rolling Waves, the Block Party, the Amphitheater, and other skateable spots across San Van. Plus, we’re adding to the city’s lived-in feel with another grime-and-surfacing pass. Updated Rolling Waves Updated Block Party Updated Stage And, to give you even more ways to get creative and show your style in San Van, we’re adding 95 clothing, footwear and accessory options (shirts, shoes, headwear, eyewear, and more), 108 skateboard options (including decks, wheels, trucks, stickers), 3 new gestures, 39 tattoos, 58 Player Card options (backgrounds, avatars, and titles), and 22 Quick Drop items to get creative with in San Van. The Stadium Lucre Financial Stadium, aka “The Chum Bucket” is the epicenter of Season 4. From the kickoff of the San Van Open to the X Games San Van event, closing out the summer, this place is built to shred. Expect endless opportunities to blast huge airs, stomp insane tricks, and crush the contest layouts that await inside. As an added benefit to their pass, Season 4 skate.Premium Pass holders can access The Stadium early, from June 2 until July 7, 2026. From July 7 to July 21, those without skate.Premium can grab a 24-hour day pass to the Stadium for 250 Rip Chips (earnable through completing Challenges and Tasks). To cap things off, there will be open access to the Stadium from July 21 to Aug 25 for a very special X Games San Van event, requiring no skate.Premium Pass or Rip Chips. Unlimited access to Isle of Grom for Season 4 is also a benefit of the skate.Premium Pass, or you can get a 24-hour San Van Water Taxi Day Pass for 500 Rip Chips. New Community Park The Stadium isn’t the only new zone dropping in Season 4. The locals decided to sunset Hedgemont Park and build something new nearby. Hedgemont’s new Community Park is floating in with a completely fresh design built to keep sessions flowing. The original Hedgemont Community Park is goneski! We’ll see what the city plans for the space in a later season, so stay tuned. Welcome to Hedgemont’s new Community Park! The Community parks are getting an overhaul, as shared by our World Design Director: Since Season 1, we’ve heard the community feedback, so the community lots are more focused on the skatepark experience first. Some are designed around bowls and vert, and others are built more like real-life plazas, whether fictional or inspired by actual spots. We are listening to the feedback, so we are interested in hearing what other types of parks the players want to see moving forward. New Features and Improvements Coming Mid-Season - Friend Code System aka. Skater Codes Skating with friends is always more fun (especially if you turn on party collision), but getting together can be easier. So that’s what we’ve done. Coming mid-season, we’re introducing Skater Codes. These are six-digit unique identifiers that you can give to someone to find you without having to search your Steam, EA, Xbox, or PS username. We’ll have details on how it works, how to find yours, how to share, and more as we get closer to mid-season. New Mode Coming Mid-Season - Limited time event: X Games Spot Battles We know you’ve been itching for more competition in skate., so we’re bringing back a popular mode to scratch that itch: X Games Spot Battles. Spot Battle is an updated legacy mode: a turn-based Throwdown experience where every trick matters and the pressure is sky-high. Launching mid-season with update 0.31.5 on July 21, the first version arrives with X Games Spot Battles: a form of persistent Throwdown that lasts for the duration of the event. Spot Battles go down over 3 intense rounds. You throw your run, then spectate the competition while plotting your next move. But don’t zone out - every skater’s line could change your strategy. You’ll need to stack the highest-scoring sequence possible in a limited area and within the clock. And there are zero rebates. If you bail, your run is DONE for that round. After all 3 rounds wrap, players are ranked based on their best overall trick sequence, while daily top scores blast near each throwdown location. There are 6 total, so if you want your name on each, you need to top each throwdown around town. These are leaderboards for your specific server, NOT across the global population. We’ll drop the full details on X Games Spot Battles closer to mid-season. Until then, start visualizing your runs! New & Improved Tricks Fingerflips Things are about to get hectic: Season 4 is bringing proper finger flips to the streets of San Van. We’ve expanded the list of variations far beyond what we had in previous games, packing this update with stylish, technical chaos. Fingerflips Fingerflip Tail Flip Seatbelt to Nose Fingerheel Tail Heel Nose to Seatbelt BS Fingerflip Stale Flip Coffin Fingerflip BS Fingerheel Stale Heel Coffin FingerHeel FS Fingerflip Stale To FS Coffin BS Varial FS Fingerheel Weddle Flip Coffin FS Varial BS Varial Weddle Heel Double Grab Fingerflip FS Varial Weddle to BS Double Grab Fingerheel BS To Weddle Crail to Tail Double Grab BS Varial FS To Stale Tail to Crail Double Grab FS Varial And of course, Skatepedia is getting updated too, so you’ll have every trick breakdown right at your fingertips when it’s time to get extra steezy. New Settings and Improvements Session Markers Skaters will be able to set session markers on lip mounts, making drop-ins much more satisfying. Gameplay Improvements Improved air coffin animations and ground-to-air coffin transitions. Improvements to onboard steering, increasing player control. New setting for improved camera follow behavior. Improved spring dampening for steering input. Improved leaning due to changes in direction. New Gameplay Density Setting: Gives players the ability to control how many other skaters, pedestrians and vehicles can be rendered. Visual Settings We’ve restructured the graphical settings to make it easier to understand how settings connect with each other. Audio Improvements In Season 4, we are adding more life to San Van. We worked with 12 voice actors to record 5,000 lines of pedestrian dialogue. They will now: Greet you when you are near Talk on their phones Comment on your slams and landed tricks Become annoyed when pestered or when their vehicles are blocked Challenges and Tasks Monthly seasonal events aren’t the only thing to do during Season 4. We shared some info about the upcoming lighting update to hit skate. in Season 4. (We’ll have some more previews of what’s coming in S4 through the rest of May, with the Season 4 blog dropping on May 28.) First, if you missed it - here’s what we shared regarding the lighting update for S4 on San Van and Grom. We chatted with our Sr. Lighting Director to get more information on the changes coming for S4. Let’s dive in. How would you describe the Season 3 lighting? So the sun moved across the sky, shifting the angle of all the downtown shadows, kind of freshening the city's vibe and giving old spots a new perspective. Some areas that used to be in direct sun are now in shadow, and vice versa. What visual signatures define the Season 4 lighting update? Sr. Lighting Director: For this change, we wanted more vibrant, clearer skies, a noon-time with a different sun angle, and a heavier vignette as the other main component. So if you look at a side-by-side of Season 2 and 3 compared to Season 4, the vignette is much stronger. Why bring in a stronger vignette? Sr. Lighting Director: We wanted to bring that in for that reason, as it centers your attention on the center of the screen, where your skater is. It gives a nice fall-off to the periphery of the frame. Anything you can tease about Season 5 and beyond? Sr. Lighting Director: I would just say there are exciting things on the horizon, and we're constantly expanding our repertoire of lighting moving forward. Part of The Weekly Grind will be dedicated to sharing current Known Issues the team is tracking for bugs & issues, any active deployments/fixes, and next steps. Developer’s Note: We’re seeing a small volume of crashes on PC related to 13th and 14th Gen Intel Processors. This is a thermal hardware issue with Intel processors, which Intel patched back in 2024, but if you were affected and didn’t download the patch in time, your CPU may be permanently damaged. This issue can cause crashes with high load applications, like video games. You can read more about the issue here and download a diagnostic tool here to see if your PC has this issue. Known Issues Still Being Investigated: Month 3 task appears as Use Fast Travel Points instead of Grind or Manual Distance for non-English languages. The game crashes when loading into Isle of Grom. Duplicate Product Boxes appearing for all three neighborhoods in the store with an “Insufficient Funds” error if opened. Workaround: Traveling from San Van to Isle of Grom or vice versa resolves this. Some Trophies/Achievements are not registering progress if the requirement is done on Isle of Grom. Workaround: Trophies will progress when actions are taken on San Vansterdam instead. Adjusting your video settings on PC can cause other settings to change. Character texture flickers when the Pipe Dream challenge starts. Players cannot grind on the rails of the Stadium parking entrance. Sometimes when editing in the Replay Editor, players are unable to exit. Workaround: Press the L stick in to hide the UI, then again to show it. This should unstick the Replay Editor. Speedline challenges can end prematurely while in a sequence due to final bearing placement The notification denoting when a friend comes online can randomly trigger multiple times. After purchasing multiple SVB packs in succession, an error appears during checkout. Skater seems to pass through the board when having specific heights. The game sometimes crashes when a fourth player joins your Party. After accepting a skate. party invite via Xbox Live or PlayStation Network, the invite reappears after the player is already in the party they were invited to. Spin degrees in the trick feed are sometimes inaccurate. Graphical glitches are present in the UI on PCs using AMD GPUs. Go to AMD's driver site and find your graphics card from the "Search or Browse Drivers" section. Click on "Previous Versions" and download the one labeled "Adrenalin 25.12.1." Download and Run the AMD Cleanup Utility. Reboot, and then run the Adrenalin 25.12.1 installer. Reboot again and launch the game. Workaround - AMD: Neighborhood Progress appears reset and previously opened product boxes appear locked. Workaround: Press Windows + R on your keyboard > Type: %localappdata% > Press Enter > Find the skate folder %localappdata%\skate\ > Delete or rename the folder. (Rename the folder if you have saved replays or screenshots). Activity count on Isle of Grom zone entrance menu shows incorrect total amount of completed challenges. Flags on Isle of Grom unintentionally can cause your skater to bail. Coffin Air 540 in the Waterworks OTL Challenge often fails to register the goal as completed. Players often don't receive notifications for completing and progressing tasks. Workaround: Visit the Task Menu and restart the game. Quick Ollie has incorrect height and forward boost when performed during grind. Players can hear pedestrians after turning the setting off. Returning to the session marker while 'getting unstuck' can get the player stuck on a black loading screen. Workaround: Restart the game. HUD disappears after starting a Challenge. The Isle of Grom has some devious new challenges! We teamed up with longtime skate. collaborator ZexyZek to launch our first-ever Creator Challenge—pushing the franchise into new territory and setting the bar for what creator-driven content can look like. A staple of the Skate 3 scene for years and a member of the skate. Player Council, ZexyZek brings a rare mix of deep game knowledge and real-world skateboarding credibility to the table. With over 2.7M subscribers and 740M+ views, ZexyZek has built his name on next-level stunts, NBDs, and pushing the community to go bigger. From the man himself, ZexyZek: In a couple of sentences, who is ZexyZek and what does he do? While I’ve personally been grinding the Skate series since 2011, the official start of my Epic Skate 3 Challenges series came to YouTube in 2017. Through the series, I’ve tried hundreds of challenges sent in by viewers and built a community around finding the most difficult, creative, and game-breaking tricks in skate! So, you’re the first creator to do a Creator Challenge Collab with Full Circle for skate., that’s dope. What was your thought process on the types of Challenges you wanted to create for the game? In my head, it was pretty simple: I wanted to create the hardest challenges the team would allow! I spent days roaming around the island looking for the coolest spots and tried tons of gaps before narrowing it down. I wanted my challenges to test all sorts of skills and require a mastery of multiple mechanics… the types of challenges I would want to try in my own videos. Isle of Grom was the perfect place for these Challenges - and I think I found some good ones! Of the Challenges you helped create, what’s your favorite? There’s one challenge that requires you to drop into the spillway, launch onto a roof, hit a long manual, then pop back into the spillway. It’s difficult, fun, and very satisfying to finally roll away! It’s one of my favorite spots and was actually the first challenge I thought of when skating around the island. Any tips for the kids at home on Shutting Them Down? Now I’m by no means the best Skate (franchise) player, but I believe I’ve landed some of the craziest challenges in the game because I’m one of the most determined players. I will try over and over again no matter how long it takes. My new challenges are hard, but possible, and the payoff is definitely worth it! (and if all else fails, adjust those assist sliders!) Let’s get into it. For this debut drop, he cooked up a set of brutally difficult tasks designed to seriously test your Flick-It control, timing, and consistency. Not only that - he voiced these challenges! These aren’t casual runs—they’re technical, high-risk sequences packed with tight Line Challenges, crazy Stunts, and an OTL that will test how well you know your grinds. There's going to be big gaps and zero room for slop. It’s exactly what he’s known for: challenges that demand precision, patience, and a willingness to battle until you stomp it clean. Challenges are focused on Isle of Grom, but there’s Tasks on both Grom and San Van. Lock in, throw down, and clear them all! You’ve got 2 weeks to Shut it Down and get the Zexy gear. Get to the Isle of Grom and step up. The skate.Premium Pass gets you unlimited access, or jump in fast with a 24-hour Water Taxi Day Pass for 500 Rip Chips. Push through every challenge to earn the full Zexy set: Trucker Hat, Board, Shirt, and Cargo Pants. Beat them all and claim an exclusive Zexy title as proof you conquered it. See you on the Isle of Grom (and stay Zexy), The skate. Team115Views1like0Comments
