Cheater lagging then crashing game clients US East
Idk if this is the right spot, teammate said that we had a cheater in the lobby, dunno if its him doing it but the server had bad lag from the start then eventually everyones clients crashed and reconnecting first time we could move for a few seconds then crashed, after that first attempt it crashed after a second and you cant move. Pretty annoying in ranked as I lost RP for abandoning a match in which I dont ever do. See image attached for what I saw reconnecting one time. Hello, I recently switched to Linux (Nobara KDE), because I was FED UP with the microsoft and windows crap. I understand that Linux offers a much higher control over the system to users and it technically might be inviting for cheaters, but since Steam OS, Steam Deck, GabeCube and other, people started switching to linux. Another thing, and that's a fact, easy anti-cheat is used in a lot of games, that have no issues on Linux. It's just a couple of games that don't support linux. Whether Linux community is small or big, it still brings money to the table, whether it's a passionate gamer or a sweaty wraith main. Let's be honest. If someone is a cheater and they cheat on Linux, theres still the fact that even if they were on windows, they would find the way to bypass the EAC and other anticheat softwares with no issues, they always find a way and disabling linux support did, infact, not help with cheaters in apex. So please, bring the Apex Linux support back. Or maybe let us play anything on Linux. Don't do it just for me or other linux users, do it for the newcomers too. We want to play our favourite games, without the microsoft/windows slop.14Views0likes1CommentWhat to do if your Apex Legends account got banned or suspended

I've had the issue honestly probably over a year now. After an update or some unknown system change I can no longer load past the EAC splash screen, it pops up and says waiting for game and then the process ends, I've tried the following Updated from Windows 10 to 11 Verified files Completely redownloaded Tried both Steam and EA launchers Closing literally anything running Stopped all services Safe boot I can go and launch the game on my console and it loads right up, leading me to believe there is some sort of conflict rather than an account issue but I'm at a loss. I swear I've submitted support tickets but they seem to disappear so I'll try my luck here99Views2likes2CommentsLoss for server issues
like many others, I am truly sick and bloody tired of losing rp due to crapy server side issues. My internet and PC are mint so don’t come at me. Surely there is a way the devs can make protection for this and then if there’s ways to cheese it and cheat put in a detector for people using this new protection to cheat, and then the people who actually get this issue are saved from the pain this video game causes. Similar to voice chat cutting out during loading screens, this seems to be an issue the devs just refuse to solve with years of the games development.8Views0likes0CommentsServer overwhelmed with mirages
I found a game, at the beginning it was laggy but after some time it just froze. I got disconnected (code: rock) and after reconnecting to server I see myself downed and ~100 mirages around. I cant move, I cant leave because of penalty and my teammates had similar problems when we could talk25Views2likes3CommentsRubber-banding/lag despite 0% packet loss, 0 choke
Hi, I'm experiencing consistent rubber-banding and warping during matches in Apex Legends, severe enough that it caused a game crash on one occasion. This issue is isolated to Apex specifically — I've tested extensively and other online games run completely fine. What's happening: -During active lag/rubber-banding, the in-game Performance Display shows: Ping 71ms, 0/35 packet loss, 0/0 choke, 180 FPS — all healthy numbers despite visible rubber-banding on screen. -This started right after I had to repair/reinstall the EasyAntiCheat_EOS service due to a 30005 error (code 1072), which was preventing the game from launching at all. - CPU and GPU usage stay low (10-20%) throughout, ruling out a hardware bottleneck. Troubleshooting already completed: - Full uninstall and reinstall of Apex Legends - Verified integrity of game files via Steam - Confirmed correct/closest data center selected, with clean ping and 0% packet loss shown there too - Reset Windows network stack (winsock reset, IP reset, DNS flush) - Reinstalled WiFi adapter driver (MediaTek Wi-Fi 7 MT7925) - Disabled WiFi power-saving mode - Confirmed no VPN, proxy, or conflicting network adapters present - Confirmed no bandwidth-heavy background processes running (checked via Resource Monitor) - Tested on mobile hotspot (bypassing home router/ISP entirely) — issue persisted - Ruled out router/ISP issues via pathping (0% loss across all hops) and confirmed other devices on the same network get full speed - Confirmed no third-party network tuning software (e.g., cFosSpeed, Network Boost) installed Given that Apex's own in-game diagnostics show a clean connection during the exact moments of lag, and everything on my end has been ruled out, this looks like it may be a server-side tick/interpolation issue rather than a client or connection problem. Could you please check for any known issues with my region/data center, or advise on next steps? Happy to provide additional logs, DxDiag, or a recording of the issue if helpful. Thanks for your help.Apex Legends account banned - No clear reason given and requesting review
Hello EA community, I would like to ask for advice regarding my Apex Legends account ban. I have been playing Apex Legends since launch. At some point in the past, my account was banned, and because of that I stopped playing the game. After a few years, I decided to return and check my account again, but the ban is still there. I have never used cheats, hacks, scripts, macros, or any other tools to gain an unfair advantage. I am 35 years old and I have no reason to risk losing an account that I have invested time and effort into. The main problem is that I was never given a clear explanation about the reason for the ban. I would like to know what rule was supposedly violated. If the anti-cheat system detected something on my PC, it is possible that a legitimate program was incorrectly identified, and I would like this to be checked. I have already submitted an appeal, but I would appreciate any advice from people who have experienced a similar situation. I am only asking for a fair review and transparency about what happened to my account. Thank you.27Views0likes1Comment
