Battlefield crashes in multiple titles
I know there's alot of posts about crashes and i decided to make my own just to make sure that EA gets a bigger grasp of the problems at hand. So I installed Battlefield 6 (and BFV to play with friends after i noticed 6 started crashing) again after playing at release where the game worked perfectly, i accumulated about 25 hours or so when it released so it actually did work once and didn't crash. But now when i installed it again it started crashing as soon as i got into a game or after like 1-2 minutes of gameplay. This was on the 26.6.2 amd drivers i believe? Anyway so I read and did a little research online and alot of people said that installing the 26.3.1 driver solved the problem for them so I did. I played an entire match without problems and thought it was fixed but the next game it just crashed instantly after a bit of loading into a game. I updated to the newest AMD drivers and nothing changed still crashed. I thought it was a thing with bf6 then so me and my friends decided to play BFV cause that has never not worked, same story there, I play a whole day of BFV but the next day it just crashes on startup so the issue now persists of various titles. So what happens in detail (also mention in the reddit thread) is this Atleast in BF6 which this is the forum for, I can get into the game itself but it's when I try to get into a match that it crashes My screens go black but i can still hear everything in Discord/spotify and some ambient sounds of the game I can't do anything so i have to force my pc to restart I get back into my pc and my resolution is all wrong cause my drivers probably got disabled or whatever so i have to renable/disable my graphics card in device manager until everything is back to normal And then im back to square one There are multiple reddit threads describing the problem and I'll link one here describing my problem PERFECTLY which also says that down grading his drivers worked for him but it still isn't stable for me atleast and others. Battlefield 6 crashing to desktop due to anticheat
I recently decided to play BF6 again with some friends, but every time I play the game it runs for a few minutes and then crashes to desktop with no error message. Windows Event Viewer says the crash is due to an “ExitType: 95(37)” error in EA’s Javelin Anticheat. I’ve tried reinstalling the game, the Anticheat and updating my drivers so far. I never used to have this issue, I have around 70 hours in game. EA’s support website is a joke and kept redirecting me to the same AI bot over and over again, so I decided to post on here. Anyone have a fix?
FC26 mid-match freeze followed by EA Javelin ExitType 95
FC26 repeatedly freezes or rubber-bands for approximately 5–10 seconds during online matches. During the freeze, game audio stutters and Discord briefly stops transmitting and receiving audio. The game occasionally recovers, but after one or more occurrences it eventually closes directly to the desktop. There is no black screen, display-driver reset, system restart, or complete network disconnect. The EA App remains running after the game closes. I played approximately 400 hours without this issue. The first matching EA Javelin event appeared on May 14, 2026, shortly after the May 12 FC26 update that modified FC26.exe and several rendering-related files. The crashes consistently produce: EA Javelin Anticheat Event ID: 1000 fc26.exe exited unexpectedly ExitType: 95 (267) Exit code: 0x186AA Followed by: Service Control Manager / EAAntiCheatService Event ID: 7023 Error: 0xFFFF005F EA AntiCheat’s filesystem filter then unloads shortly afterward. I have also found reports from other FC26 users describing the same 5–10-second freeze or rubber-band behavior followed by ExitType 95, including users with substantially different CPUs, GPUs, and system configurations. Please investigate this as an FC26 or EA Javelin AntiCheat failure rather than treating it as a general hardware-stability issue. The consistent ExitType 95 and EAAntiCheatService error pattern appears to be the primary common factor.
BSOD in Battlefield 6 — eaanticheat.sys driver crash
Battlefield 6 repeatedly crashes my PC to BSOD during gameplay. Bugcheck code 0x0000000A (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL). I analyzed the crash dumps in WinDbg and confirmed the fault is in eaanticheat.sys, not a third-party driver. Crash signature (consistent across all crashes): Bugcheck: 0x0000000A Faulting module: eaanticheat.sys Symbol: eaanticheat+4c1623c Failure hash: {d544cf09-4735-e698-77c3-5df5924e5448} Process: bf6.exe Troubleshooting completed, no change: RAM tested (MemTest86, passed), GPU stress tested (OCCT, passed), full clean reinstall of BF6 with manual anti-cheat service removal, Memory Integrity/VBS disabled, Windows Defender toggled off, tested without third-party peripheral software, PCIe power management set to Off, RAM at stock JEDEC (no XMP). Same crash signature every time regardless of these changes. System: ASUS Z790 Gaming WiFi, Windows 11, game via Steam This appears to be a driver-level bug in the Javelin anti-cheat, not a system configuration issue on my end. Battlefield 6 - Repeated BSODs caused by EA Anti-Cheat (Intel i7-14700K)
Hi everyone, I'm posting this in the hope that EA can investigate this issue, as I've spent days troubleshooting and have ruled out many common causes. System Specifications: CPU: Intel Core i7-14700K GPU: Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 7800 XT Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming B760M-PLUS WIFI II RAM: 32GB Corsair DDR5 5600MHz Storage: Windows on C: drive, Battlefield 6 on a separate NVMe SSD (D: drive) PSU: Gigabyte UD850W (850W) Cooler: Corsair Titan 360 RX AIO Windows 11 (fully updated) Latest AMD GPU drivers Latest motherboard BIOS The Issue: Around 28th-30th July, Battlefield 6 suddenly started crashing my entire PC with Blue Screens of Death. Before then, the game had been working normally. Nothing changed with my hardware or BIOS configuration immediately before the issue began, yet the crashes started completely out of nowhere. This is not a normal game crash—it completely crashes Windows and forces the PC to reboot. The crashes are inconsistent. On some occasions I can play a full match before the system blue screens, while on others the PC crashes within 5–10 minutes and even when I'm idling in the menu. I have not found any consistent action or point in the match that triggers the crash. I also tested today's Battlefield 6 update as soon as it became available, but it did not resolve the issue. The game continues to trigger the same BSODs on my system. Crash Analysis: I've analysed multiple minidumps using WinDbg. Every dump consistently points to: IMAGE_NAME: eaanticheat.sys FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: AV_eaanticheat!unknown_function SYMBOL_NAME: eaanticheat+4b480f3 Every crash dump I've analysed points back to the EA Anti-Cheat kernel driver, with the stack trace consistently ending inside eaanticheat.sys. Troubleshooting Already Performed Over the last several days I have tried: Completely uninstalling and reinstalling EA Anti-Cheat. Repairing EA Anti-Cheat multiple times. Running the EA Anti-Cheat installer and launcher as Administrator. Verifying the Battlefield 6 game files. Updating Windows. Updating my motherboard BIOS. Updated Intel Chipset Driver, Intel Management Engine Interface and Intel Serial IO. Updating to the latest AMD graphics drivers. Using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to completely remove my GPU drivers before installing the latest AMD driver. Testing with XMP both enabled and disabled (the PC still crashes after roughly 10-20 minutes either way). Disabling third-party antivirus. Adding Battlefield and EA Anti-Cheat to Windows Exploit Protection exclusions. Disabling as many third-party kernel-level applications and background software as possible. Restarting between troubleshooting attempts. Performed CPU and RAM stability testing (including OCCT) to check for hardware instability. Those tests did not reproduce the Battlefield 6 BSODs, suggesting the crashes are specific to Battlefield 6 and/or EA Anti-Cheat rather than occurring under general system load. One interesting thing happened after repairing EA Anti-Cheat. The game crashed to desktop instead of blue screening my PC, and I managed to finish a full match beforehand. I initially thought this had resolved the issue, but after repeating the exact same repair process, the crashes returned and my entire PC blue screened again. I have also tested Battlefield 1 on the same system without any crashes, BSODs or unexpected reboots, suggesting the issue is specific to Battlefield 6 rather than gaming in general. Request: Has anyone with a similar system, particularly an Intel 13th or 14th generation CPU, experienced this? If anyone from EA is reading this, could this please be investigated? Multiple crash dumps consistently identify eaanticheat.sys, and despite extensive troubleshooting the issue persists. A game crashing is frustrating enough, but software causing repeated kernel-level BSODs is a much more serious problem. At this point, I feel I've exhausted the troubleshooting that can reasonably be performed on my end, which is why I'm raising this in the hope that EA can investigate it further. Hello EA Support, I'm experiencing an issue with FC 26 on PC. When I launch the game, EA Anti-Cheat starts loading normally. After it finishes loading, the game opens to a black screen for about 2 seconds, then it closes automatically and returns to the EA App without showing any error message. I have already tried many troubleshooting steps, including: Reinstalling Windows (I'm currently using Windows 11). Updating Windows completely. Updating all GPU drivers and other drivers. Reinstalling EA App. Reinstalling EA Anti-Cheat. Verifying the game files. Running the game and EA App as Administrator. The issue still happens every time. Also, FC 24 has the exact same problem, while other games work perfectly on my PC (GTA V, Fortnite, Rocket League, CS2, A Way Out, and many others). This makes me think the problem is related to EA Anti-Cheat or EA games rather than my hardware. My PC specifications: Lenovo ThinkPad P51 NVIDIA Quadro M1200 GPU Windows 11 (fully updated) Could you please help me identify the cause of this issue or provide a solution? Thank you.
EVGA Drivers trip anti-cheat
On launch, I get a Security Violation notice: "EA AntiCheat has detected an incompatible driver. Please update or disable 'c:\programfiles (x86)\evga\kernel\driver-x64.sys' and restart. (119)". The only thing I can think of is that I use EVGA Precision X1 to manage my graphics card(An EVGA 2080Ti)
