Ea Anticheat
Every single time I open the game it will load me into the main menu then crash saying I need to update to the latest version. I have followed every single thread I can find, uninstall and reinstall game and anticheat software, nothing seems to work. I have even gone to the lengths of making sure secure boot is enabled in bios. I have no issues with other EA titles on pc Only Battlefield 2042. I'm really getting irritated as I have pre ordered BF6 and worried that I have wasted more money if that encounters the same issues. Hello EA team and community, I'm reaching out here publicly after exhausting the official appeal process, having now submitted four appeals regarding a permanent ban on my Battlefield 2042 account (EA ID: BowWasTaken). Each response has been nearly identical in tone, clearly automated, and offered no transparency into what triggered the ban. On August 25, 2025, I launched Battlefield 2042 and discovered I had been permanently banned. There was no warning, no detail, just a general message citing a “Rule Violation.” I had last played on August 22 without issue and was shocked to be locked out just a few days later. Eventually, the stated reason was the alleged use of malicious cheats or hacks, violating Section 6 of the EA User Agreement. To be clear and direct, I have never used cheats, exploits, third-party tools, or anything that compromises fair play. Nothing of that nature has ever been installed or executed on my system. I have been an EA customer since 2013, with hundreds of hours across Battlefield titles and other EA games, all without a single warning, kick, or disciplinary action. My Steam account, also over a decade old, is similarly clean. This ban and the complete lack of accountability in reviewing it, is both disheartening and damaging to player trust. I purchased Battlefield 2042 at full launch price, and now I’ve lost access permanently with no explanation, no evidence, and no opportunity to correct the record. Like many others on this forum, I suspect this may be a false positive triggered by common background software, such as: Logitech G HUB. Corsair iCUE. RGBFusion 2.0. GeForce Experience. Discord / Steam overlays. Inclusive of myself, players widely use these tools for performance tuning or device management, and there are documented cases of them being misidentified by Easy Anti-Cheat. As someone based in Australia, I’m also aware of my rights under Australian Consumer Law, which requires services to be delivered with due care, skill, and fairness. Being locked out without a transparent process or specific reason may fall short of these standards. I’m posting here to respectfully request: A manual, human-led re-evaluation of my case. Transparency about what triggered the ban. A chance to clarify or fix any issues if legitimate software is involved I'm not here to argue for special treatment, only a fair and accountable process. If this can happen to a decade-long, clean player like myself, it’s hard to feel confident continuing to invest time or money in the franchise moving forward. I appreciate any community or moderator guidance on how best to proceed if the standard appeal process has been fully closed. Bonjour, Depuis un mois je rencontre un problème avec FC 25 sur mon PC (ROG Ally). Quand je lance le jeu, la fenêtre s’ouvre normalement mais juste avant que le jeu démarre, elle se ferme automatiquement et je reviens au bureau. Dans l’application EA, j’ai ce message d’erreur : « Échec du lancement du jeu – Le jeu n'a pas pu être lancé en raison d'une erreur de notre côté. Réessayez un peu plus tard. » J’ai déjà essayé de relancer plusieurs fois, mais le problème persiste. I was just playing the and never had an issue with it ruining my screen for a short period of time. Even on PlayStation, the only thing I see on both is I start a game and it boots me out to the main menu. Well today just few mins ago I left a rank match on my seriesx, started up another match and looked at my phone for a few seconds and look up and my whole screen is pixelated. I couldn’t see anything. Looked like I got hacked or something. I closed the app and the screen was all jammed on Home Screen too. I shut my game down on the console, that was unexpected so I wrote this. No game ever did that and I’m not even good at the game lol. My desktop rig is a 24x7 MSFS2024 machine, rock solid stable. All battlefields are running ok except BF2042 cause of EA Anticheat. Lost 2 days reading and trying everything i could read or think: Things I have already tried (none of these fixed it): DDU clean NVIDIA driver reinstall (latest 581.15 WHQL) Updated BIOS (MSI MAG Z790 TOMAHAWK WIFI → Aug 2025) Loaded BIOS optimized defaults (no OC, ReBAR ON, XMP defaults) Disabled HAGS (Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling) Disabled Future Frame Rendering / tested Borderless window mode Turned off all overlays (EA App, Discord, Steam, NVIDIA) Uninstalled monitoring/utility apps: MSI Afterburner RivaTuner Statistics Server (RTSS) HWiNFO Corsair iCUE ESET AV Disabled VPN & extra network drivers: Surfshark adapter Cisco AnyConnect adapter Unbound Hyper-V switch from NIC Booted with Hyper-V disabled Fully reinstalled EA Anti-Cheat as per EA's guide Disabled VBS (Virtualization Based Security) / Memory Integrity Confirmed no NVIDIA GeForce Experience present Confirmed Secure Boot ON, Core Isolation ON, Memory Integrity OFF Ran tests both with iCUE closed and completely uninstalled Still consistent BSODs (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL) or CTDs (0xC0000005) within ~5 minutes of BF2042. Dumps consistently point to eaanticheat.sys or EA Anti-Cheat service. The funny thing is that in my laptop (13900H / 4070) with similar apps and config , everything runs ok without disabling anything, nor afterburner, overlays, riot client and vanguard etc. My Desktop has a 14700k / 4070 Ti super. Currently i have no way of playing BF2042/BF6 on my main rig. Comprei o game pela steam essa semana na promoçao para voltar a jogar, mas ao iniciar, aparece a seguinte mensagem "UM ERRO NOSSO CAUSOU UMA FALHA DA INICILIZAÇAO", pedi reembolso na steam, comprei o game no EaApp e mesmo assim o erro persiste, o que pode ser? Disconnecting from matches and even from the main menu after 3-5 min. Same thing happens in BFV and during the BF6 beta. Already tried: Changed DNS Reinstalled and repaired EA AC Verified game integrity Used a VPN Used a completely different connection (mobile hotspot) Allowed the game and AC through firewall Added exceptions to Microsoft antivirus I suspect it is something to do with the AC, since I saw another report on the BF6 forums. Also, during the BF6 beta, the game worked for 1 day after I repaired the AC but it stopped working the next day.Security Violation: DiscSoftLTD
