Battlefield 4 - Swimming Bug Resolved
Swimming bug resolved Hello fellow Battlefield 4 players. I feel your pain. I too ran into a problem swimming while under water during the SOUTH CHINA SEA campaign. Scenario: You are tasked with finding a sinking ship’s hard drive, to see what may have happened. You pull a small boat into a hole in the hull of the ship. There you make your way to the hard drive. Along the way you need to go through a lower deck, which is beneath water. To do so, you must swim underwater and navigate to the appropriate location. Problem: You start to swim and then get stuck. If you stop your forward progression, you are pushed backwards. This sequence adds nothing for your gaming experience. It only build hostility and frustration. I do not know why game developers even bother with such nonsense. The only reason I can think of is to make the game a bit more eerie, because you swim past floating corpses. Resolution: Some people suggested pausing and then resuming the game. This will only get you so far. I found that you have to assign and use your look up, look down, look right, and look left key-binds. Don’t turn to the left, look towards your left, etc. After I did this, I was able to conquer the challenge in about 10 minutes and continue the game. RealHelsing out …
Ultimate Shortcut Bundle not working?
I just bought BF4 a few days ago on XB1, and yesterday I bought the Ultimate Shortcut Bundle since it was so cheap in the Deals with Gold XB1 sale. My problem is that it seems that the content I paid to unlock is still unavailable to me in the game. I'm a noob when it comes to this game so I possibly may have completely misunderstood the purpose of the BF4 shortcuts, but I thought that they would unlock all non-expansion pack weapons, including attachments such as scopes, grips, suppressors etc... Could someone please help me?BF4 DirectX 12 option not showing
I recently updated my computer to Windows 10 and updated my amd drivers to the latest version made for windows 10, after checking through the Run program in windows, It says I am running DirectX version 12. However, when I log into battlefield 4 and go to my video options, the only API options are: Mantle, Direct 3D 11 (I am assuming that's direct x 11) So can you run bf4 with direct x 12, I am fairly certain you can because, during the windows 10 technical preview I saw several articles talking about the performance increases that direct x 12 does to bf4. So Where's the direct x 12 option? I have a R9 270 and an I7 4790
