BF1 occasionally freezes entire PC
As the title says, occasionally when I play BF1, the game slows down visibly almost to a freeze. This slowing down is applied to the entire computer, and actually closing the game doesn't resolve the issue. I have to reboot my entire PC for it to run normally again. It's not a big problem, as it occurs say only once a month, but it is odd. My PC's fans don't speed up, and BF1 is the only application this happens with. This and the fact that closing the game doesn't fix it, makes me think that it is anti-cheat related. Anybody out there with the same issue, and perhaps with a solution? My PC's specs are: CPU: AMD 7600x3D Mobo: MSI Tomahawk B650 DRAM: Corsair 32 GB 6000 Mhz DDR5 Expo GPU: RTX 5070 12GB (drivers up to date) PSU: NZXT gold 3.1 850W SSD: (2x) Samsung 990 Pro 1TB NVMe Display: (2x) 24" Iiyama 1080p OS: Windows 11 Home (& Linux Mint on 2nd NVMe), Secure Boot enabled on both OS'sBattlefield 1 crashing PC and causing driver corruption for AMD graphics card
In the title, any time I try to join a lobby of BF1, as soon as I get placed into the game, both of my screens go black, I get an error sound of some sort (but I can't see the error to tell what it is, I attached the Windows log from the crash), and I have to manually restart my PC. After restarting, my second monitor won't turn on because somehow Battlefield has caused the AMD drivers to corrupt, which leads to an infinite loop of installing AMD graphics, in which the only way to fix it is to go to AMD's website and manually download the correct drivers for my PC. After reinstalling the drivers, my PC goes back to normal. This only started happening after last week's update, which I presume was to update the anticheat in some way. I am using the most up to date drivers for AMD. System Specs: Ryzen 5 7600x3d Ryzen RX 7900XT 32GB Gskill FlareX5 6000Mhz Any help would be appreciated. I saw someone else posted about this on the BF1 Reddit, just wanted to get the word out about this issue.[[[Please Fix BF1 Conquest So We Can Play The Way We Deserve]]]
Iv been playing Battlefield 1 sence release date and took only 3 years worth of a break because conquest lobbies were not poping up and i returned last week and [STILL] there are barely any conquest lobbies, and as i write this there are 0 conquest lobbies for the past 2 days. I feel like EA doesnt care about us bf1 conquest enthusiasts or haven't for what feels like too long. please fix it...some of us built our 40k+ streaming career from playing ONLY conquest mode. My friend and I recently purchased a physical copy of BF1 for PS4 from CeX for nostalgias sake. I have been relentlessly attempting to get this game to work but for over 2 weeks now I cannot get past the "You have lost connection to EA Servers" error and when I press to go online it just says connecting and then shows the same error again. Furthermore, multiplayer will simply not install. I have spent the past two weeks troubleshooting and browsing these forums. I have changed my DNS multiple times, we just had new WiFi installed, I've checked my NAT type which is Type 2. I've deleted and re-installed the game countless times, I managed to start installing multiplayer immediately after re-installation but when it gets near to completing it crashes and then goes back to 0%. I've checked the PS4 servers for BF1 and they're still online. We also bought BF4 which works completely fine. I've attempted to get in touch with an EA Advisor but it seems like I'm searching for a mythical beast that doesn't actually exist. Please for the love of all that is holy can someone help me out without directing me to the troubleshooting tips page that I've memorised at this point. Thanks.Servers lagging
Fix your servers! We pay for a service that is not properly returned.Everybody in lobby get high ping then lose connection. All started to happen after your last amazing update. We're sick of trying to get people back in servers every few hours cause you can't provide what you're paid for.537Views29likes22Commentswrongfully banned
Hi EA_Rtas, I know this isn't the right place for this, but I tried to send you a private message and it kept getting stuck. I'm really desperate for help. I was wrongfully banned on Battlefield 1 on July 16, 2026. I have never used any cheats or third-party programs. I believe it is a false positive from the anti-cheat system. I already submitted an appeal through the official channel but only got automated replies saying the decision is "final." I am simply asking for a real human manual review of my case. My EA ID: [wudidazuiguai] Platform: PC Date of Ban: July 16, 2026 If you can't handle bans directly, could you please point me to the correct person or department who can? Thank you for your time.SolvedMy BF1 account has been banned
I have been banned since December last year, and EA said that my game has been enhanced. Brother, I am really speechless. I haven't done anything, and even my record is outrageous. How could I cheat? I have appealed 2 to 3 times in a row and nothing happened, so I have decided to post it on the forum, hoping that EA staff can lift the ban after seeing itSolved106Views2likes7CommentsMy BF1 account is banned
I am a new player who just got into BF1 not long ago.😔 A few days ago, my Battlefield 1 account was banned by EA on the accusation that I used cheating programs to boost gameplay. In truth, I have never used any cheating tools whatsoever. I believe the ban was triggered for two possible reasons: I play the game both on my home computer and at internet cafes. The billing software installed on café computers was likely flagged as a suspicious process by the anti-cheat system. Besides, I switched proxy nodes to get a lower ping, which may also have been mistaken for cheating activity. These are the only explanations I can think of. My K/D ratio is quite low, which is solid evidence that I never cheated. I sent in my first appeal recently, yet it was rejected outright. I am totally confused and have no idea what else I can do. I hope the EA appeal team can understand my situation and my sincere plea. I genuinely adore Battlefield 1. Despite my poor stats, I deeply love the game and its community. I would be incredibly thankful if anyone could help me resolve this unfair punishment. [Edit: Bold formatting removed - ElliotLH]Solved
