“Test Your Mettle” Achievement Now Unobtainable – Please Consider a Fix
Hi EA team, I’m reaching out regarding the “Test Your Mettle” achievement in Battlefield Hardline. Since the official servers have been shut down, this achievement has become unobtainable, as it relies on online features no longer accessible. Many completionists and fans of the Battlefield series are disappointed, as this prevents 100% completion of the game. I kindly ask that you consider issuing a fix or workaround for this achievement, such as unlocking it automatically or adjusting the criteria so it can be completed another way. Battlefield Hardline still holds a place in many players' hearts, and addressing this issue would mean a lot to the community. Thank you for your time and consideration. Best regards
“Test Your Mettle” PSN Turn Servers Back On EA
Hello. I am formally requesting that the competitive servers be turned back on, or private servers be allowed to host competitive matches for this trophy before the game servers are turned off on consoles forever in two months. Another solution is to disable the achievement, or make it change to play 25 matches of any kind. This is a one in a lifetime chance for many of us to get the real platinum, (not just the base game one.) Reasoning: the trophy is to play 25 matches only. No wins. No skill needed. No unfair trophy obtaining for people who previously unlocked it to be insulted because we will all do the same thing: play 25 matches. It's just load in, play, win or lose. It would be great if PC players were given the chance to get this aswell, but us console players, including XBL, are desperate. BF:HL is my favourite Battlefield game, even better than BF1. I have played 591 hours on the PS4 version and many on PS3 aswell and just missed stuff I didn't get around to, or didn't want to do... mainly because I was addicted to hardcore Heist lol I started grinding my last trophies recently only to realise I can never get this one in its current state. There are many with similar stories and we would love a chance to grind out all trophies, including Test Your Mettle. Battlefield 6 - No to SBMM and YES to Server Browser
Been a huge fan of the Battlefield Franchise since I first started to play Battlefield 3 back in 2011. Ever since then I have purchased every Battlefield Game, DLC Pack and what have you and and almost exclusively played only Battlefield. Before this I was a COD player. COD never attracted me back once I got in on the Battlefield Sandbox and begun to play the game as part of a squad, choosing which class I was going to be based on what was happening in the game and how I could react to this to help my team and squad out. One of the great things I liked about it too was that every game was not the same because of the Sandbox, squad and class experience. If I was playing for a couple of hours, I don't think that I ever felt that I played the same round twice in that they played out differently every time, even if I was with the same squad and on the same map. Now that BF6 or whatever the new Battlefield will be called is coming closer to releasing, I hope some things from these older BF games come back. One of these is the Server Browser and Persistent Servers. Recently I have begun playing BF4 again consistently. It is great to see the old Server Browser there and being able to pick a game mode and series of maps that I want to play that are not like Portals 1000% Hardcore servers. Just normal BF with good maps and rotations. Being able to change my region and filter by ping has also been fantastic. I really hope that the new BF6 brings this back, or somehow splits it with Portal. Maybe portal has two options, Server Browser with Persistent Servers and then the custom side which we all get to make our own games in. With the launch of BF2042 we saw that there was no Server Browser and that what we got instead was Match Making. MM has been a big pain for a lot of reasons. We cant pick what map we want to play, we cant see what map is coming up next, if we load into a map we don't want to play we have to exit out and then try MM again which sometimes loads us back into the same map. There is no region filter or ping filter. A lot of the time MM can not happen because there are not enough people to start the game in my region (Australia) and this MM saga goes round and round. This all takes a lot of time and ruins the gaming experience, ultimately damaging the franchise. Which isn't good for us players or the BF franchise either. The second thing I would not like to see happen is Skill Based Match Making come into BF6. We all see and hear people complain about SBMM in the COD community. It's a little bit in Delta Force now as well and people are complaining that they are getting loaded into lobbies with bad ping because of their skill and all sorts. IMO SBMM would kill the next BF if it is brought in. Like everything, the more you do something the better you get at it. There are some guy's that spends hours and hours just practicing sniping, or flying choppers and they are elite at it. Part of the BF experience is the cannon fodder, is learning the classes, the weapons and their attachments, the various vehicle setups and maps. This is what contributes massively to the sandbox environment IMO. It's because of all these variables as well as other players, that makes every game different. If SBMM is brought in, then I feel we will loose that experience and pretty soon, every game will start to feel the same and turn into a sweaty grindfest which looses all those cool quirky BF moments. Anyhow, it's something I have been thinking about for a while. Thought I would share it and see what others thought or felt about the same two issues.How to fix the "Missing multiplayer privileges" error on BF1
I figured out how to fix the terrible " Missing multiplayer privileges " error on BF1. It might also work for other EA games like BF3, BF4, BFV, BF HARDLINE... You probably have this issue because your Xbox subscription ended and you renewed it recently. FIRST OF ALL : make sure you have an Xbox Game Pass ULTIMATE membership active, I am not sure if this method works with Xbox Game Pass CORE so if it doesn't work, buy the ULTIMATE membership. If you are trying on Playstation and this method doesn't work, I suggest you purchase the Playstation Plus Premium membership and try again. QUICK FIX: launch BF1, and when you arrive on the multiplayer menu where you get the error, press the xbox home button on your controller, and launch BF4, accept all the pop-ups, and when you arrive on BF4 main menu press X to load multiplayer, it should load, then come back to BF1 and it should load and the error is gone. This might also work if you launch BFV instead of BF4 and when on the main menu, press RT to connect to multiplayer, it should load, then come back to BF1 and it should load and the error is gone. If you are lucky you will be asked to download an update, do it and it will be fixed. This works even if you have never played to BF4 or BFV. If this didn't work, try this longer method that will force BF1 to download an update: Make sure you have an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, not Core, because you will need the Cloud Gaming functionality. While doing this make sure your automatic subscription renewal is OFF (it worked for me this way). Make sure you have BF4 and all BF4 DLCs uninstalled. Go to the Xbox Store and launch BF4 with cloud gaming. Let it load, a lot of pop-up screens will appears, just accept everything and once you arrive to the multiplayer screen, you should see that you are connected. You might need to press X to refresh the screen. Press LB to open the left menu and navigate to BF1, you won’t have the "missing privileges error" and your multiplayer progress will be shown, BUT that doesn’t mean that it is fixed yet. It’s fixed in the cloud but not on your console. Press the xbox home button on your controller, press the triple bar button (menu button) on the controller and press on quit BF4. Try launching BF4 again and it should ask you to download the game with all the DLCs, press yes. If this message doesn't appear yet, then launch BF4 again exactly the same way through cloud gaming, then quit it the same way (press xbox home button and triple bar button on your controller, press on quit BF4), and launch it again until this message appears. Wait until BF4 is downloaded at about 20%, launch it, there should be some pop-ups about Xbox Live Gold subscription, accept everything, and once you arrive in the main menu saying the game is being installed with the % shown, press the xbox home button on your controller, press the triple bar button (menu button) on the controller and press on quit BF4. Wait until BF4 is fully downloaded, and before the Naval Strike DLC is completed downloading, launch BF4. (don't stop the other DLCs from downloading in background, let them in the download queue) Now that you have launched BF4, accept all the new pop-up messages saying you need an Xbox Live Gold Subscription. Go to the multiplayer section, you should be connected, if not, press X to refresh and you will be connected. Wait patiently in the BF4 main menu until you get a notification saying that the Naval Strike DLC has completed downloading in background. You will also see a green text message on your BF4 main menu saying an update is ready. If you don't see this green text message, wait for some other DLCs to complete downloading. Press the home xbox button, press the triple bar button on the controller, and quit BF4. Launch BF4 again to apply the update and accept all pop-ups. Quit BF4 the same way on step 13 and launch BF1. It should ask you for a forced update, accept it. Then, BF1 should load and the multiplayer should work. Yay ! DON’T DELETE BF4 AND ANY DLC RELATED TO BF4 BECAUSE THIS ERROR MIGHT COME BACK OTHERWISE. If you power off your console this error might come back, so just launch BF1, on the main menu, go back to home and launch BF4 (don’t quit BF4), on that main menu press X to load multiplayer, it should load, then come back to BF1 and it should load. Install BFV and launch it, if you have the "missing multiplayer privileges" error, press RT to refresh and it should ask you to download an update, accept it, then launch BF1. It should work forever, if it asks you for an update accept and do it. Also, if you are gamesharing your subscription with someone and he has this error, what you need is, have both accounts signed-in in the xbox home screen, then select the account that is paying the subscription, do step 20, until BF1 multiplayer is loaded and working for your main account. Still on BF1 main menu, you can switch to the account that you are sharing with, then you can disconnect from your main account, and it will still work. Recommended to do: put your xbox in Sleep power option mode (not the power saving one), to avoid completely shutting it off and keep the multiplayer data loaded continuously. I hope this will help as many players as possible! This is what I found after a few hours of being locked out of BF1, I don't think there is another solution for this error, so make sure to share it around ! See you on the Battlefield (1) !

Ho sempre sognato di far parte di questa community. Oltretutto qui sul forum cercherò di aiutare più persone possibili per rafforzare la community e farli sentire a loro agio dopo aver risolto i loro problemi. Mi sono sempre soffermato a guardare video, leggere recensioni e giocare, ma da oggi voglio dare il mio contributo alla community, soprattutto a EA, che merita tanto, porterò contenuti rivoluzionari, sia di editing che di contenuti, ho studiato nel tempo cosa potrebbe piacere alle persone, e non vedo l'ora di condividere tutto quello che ho in mente per tutti i videogiocatori del mondo di EA. CONSOLES / MOUSE AND KEYBOARD SUPPORT for New battlefield 2025
Hello! Here I am referring to the discussion about mouse and keyboard support on consoles for the new battlefield that is currently in the works. With great hope and fear that this time EA and DICE will do whatever it takes to get support on consoles because over 10,000 players signed a petition for 2042 and NOTHING HAPPENED. With the CROSS PLAY option, every game deserves to have this support. What is your opinion on this? I personally have my doubts about it. Dear EA Support, I am contacting you regarding a persistent issue with Battlefield Hardline on PlayStation Network that continues to occur despite having already completed all standard troubleshooting steps. My PSN account is able to access online multiplayer services in other EA titles (including Battlefield 6, Battlefield 4, and NFS Heat) without any issues. However, it is completely unable to connect to the multiplayer servers of Battlefield Hardline. This clearly indicates that the problem is specific to this title. I have already carried out the following steps, all without any success: Restarting the console Verifying the internet connection Signing out and back into PSN Restarting the game I continue to receive a connection error, or the game fails to establish any connection to the multiplayer servers. Given the above, I expect a direct investigation on your end. Please specifically verify: The current status of Battlefield Hardline multiplayer servers Any potential issues or restrictions related to my EA account The integrity of the link between my EA account and PSN I would appreciate a clear and complete response, avoiding generic suggestions or steps already attempted, and specifying whether this is a known issue or related to service availability. I'm writing this discussion because of what the title says. I probably would get mad at EA because of their tendency to kill servers every year. Well, you already screwed up my BF3 platinum in 2024 (thank you), and now, the announcement of sunsetting the remaining console versions of Battlefield Hardline is, well, STUPID in all caps. First of all, why is ONLY THIS SPECIFIC GAME? And Battlefield 4 that's also on PS4 and Xbox One will still remain? Pfft. It's because it's main developer, Visceral Games no longer exists since 2017? It's because of "low player base"? ("low player base" is a stupid cheap excuse to shut down a server) or because you're forcing us to play Battlefield 6? You already demised BF Hardline on PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2024, and now you're killing the remaining of the versions that, FOR YOUR INFORMATION, PS4 and Xbox One are still active consoles. Just because like Sony stopped offering PS Plus titles on PS4 or is slowly abandoning it doesn't mean you have to take that choice. Also, why making on March 17 a "11 YEARS" anniversary post, and then 5 days later "unfortunately we're shutting down the servers on June 22" NO. AND JUST NO. That's stupidity at it's peak. At this point, just make the servers P2P, so y'all company saves a million dollars on pulling out the cable of the servers. Despite it's one of the most divisive games on the series, it still has players dedicated to it. And look! I don't have a PS4 but I planned to purchase BF Hardline when I had one! But probably at the time I'm getting it the servers will be dead on their grave! Now also look at your forums. At least give a solution to your users. Some players have issues logging into the game on PS4/Xbox One. And well, seems a solution probably will come, or maybe not. Who knows. Reconsider, EA. Fazem dois meses eu tinha um computador fraco demais para jogar BF6, mas por gostar muito do jogo mesmo assim comprei pela steam e tentei jogar (17/20 fps). Não funcionava direito, mas eu estava alí com o jogo que eu queria por mais que jogasse como em uma apresentação powerpoint. Certo dia, entro no game e me deparo com a mensagem que fui banido por usar "Melhorias de jogabilidade" (lembrando que jogava com 17 fps). Nunca fiquei em primeiro lugar de nenhum lobby multiplayer com esse computado, e muito menos de REDSEC. Contestei varias vezes mas não tinha jeito, fecharam meu caso e mantiveram um banimento permanente. Como estava na steam, mesmo com 30 horas de jogo, consegui fazer um refound e recebi meu dinheiro de volta. Um mês depois disso, decidi comprar um computador novo para, justamente, jugar BF6. Como minha conta vinculada à steam estava banida, decidi usar outra conta da EA (essa que estou usando agora). Comprei um gift card, adicionei o dinheiro direto no aplicativo da EA, e comprei o desejado BF6 e agora sim, com o computador novo ele rodava perfeitamente e eu FINALMENTE conseguia jogar o novo game da minha franquia favorita. Acredito que devo ter jogado por menos de 5 horas. Hoje quando chego do trabalho me deparo com outra mensagem de banimento por "melhorias de jogabilidade". Cara, O QUE TA ROLANDO? Eu só quero jogar BF6, NUNCA usei sequer um cheat para NENHUM jogo na minha vida inteira. Contestei o caso e inclusive, pedi que assistissem algum replay das minhas partidas se fosse possível para confirmarem que não tem NENHUMA "melhoria de jogabilidade". Eu jogo "bem" jogos de tiro, consigo me virar. Mas se alguém assistir minhas gameplays vai ver que eu erro MUITO mais do que acerto os tiros. Eu preciso que isso seja solucionado, até porque pedi refound do BF6, mas como eu tinha usado um gift card, o dinheiro ficou na carteira da EA, sendo que eu não tenho interesse em nenhum outro jogo da biblioteca EA a não ser o BF6. Não sei o que tá rolando com a EA, os banimentos e as respostas das contestações parecem ser completamente feitas por Bots. Porque cada vez que tento falar com eles, vem uma resposta preparada, sem sentido nenhum e que nunca soluciona nada. Não é minha primeira decepção com a EA, e pelo visto, não vai ser a ultima.
