Cant place/Delete items in Build mode
After I place one item the next item I select won't place, it flips back to where it was previously, or is carries around by my mouse indefinitely. I found by clicking a different tool across the top like the eyedropper then going back to the select tool it will let me place another item, but only one. Then click on the eyedropper again and back to the select tool, for each item I need to move or place. Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted title to better reflect the issue
[GALLERY] 'Content not installed' warning with all content owned
I haven’t played this specific save in a few years. I made some changes to my sims’ house and lot, and saved it to my library. I then demolished a different lot, and when I tried to place my sims’ lot from the library, I get a message saying content is not installed and that I don’t own all the content. I own almost all DLC, and I own the content used in my sims’ house/lot. I’ve never used mods/cc on this save. I’ve tried repairing the game, and then saved the lot to my library again, and deleting the previous saved copy. I still get the same message when trying to place the lot from my library on a different lot. It’s a recent issue, I didn’t have any problems a few days ago on a different save. Baby in storage??
while I'm in game I go into build mode for the household and i cant get out of it because it says I have a baby in the storage part...Its there and it says theres 7 of em' LOL I cant put them on the lot..it says in red letters ERROR does anyone know what this is?? hopefully someone can help me fix it lol I can exit into manage worlds then go back or go through build mode in the manage worlds...what a pain in the rear! LOL Thank you so much yall are always super helpful when theres an issue!![CL] Apartments lose furniture when loading into adjacent apartment
When I load into an apartment in live mode (also works in build mode) all adjacent furnished apartments mark suddenly as 0 $ worth of furnishings and when a Sim tries to move into them they can only move in unfurnished! If the adjacent apartment is one where a Sim lives, and I move that Sim out via move menu from manage worlds, they only have the option to move out without furniture and after that all furniture is forever deleted from that apartment, plus my Sim doesn't get money for their lost furniture on move out. If I load into one of the 0 $ worth apartments in live or build mode, the furniture is actually there, and now the adjacent apartments of THAT apartment all become 0 worth. But it's not just a visual issue, as moving out or moving into such an apartment will indeed delete all furniture forever. When I visit an apartment without knocking the whole preview of that apartment building with all apartments loses all furniture too, see screenshot. I tested this without mods, on a Mac, have all packs that exist and am on the up to date latest January 2025 patch.The sims 4 dosen't save my sim and build
Hi! I have a problem: the game won't save my Sims or buildings (exactly as the title says). It's annoying. I don't know what's going on with my saves; I'm too afraid to open one for fear the game won't save my progress either. Could EA fix this problem? At this point, I have no reason to open The Sims 4, let alone buy new content, because what's the point? The problem occurs WITHOUT mods.
