Can't Drag & Place Items from Sim Inventory
When in Live mode, items in a Sim's inventory cannot be dragged and dropped in order to place them. It will just stay in the inventory. The only way to work around this is to click the item and then choose "place in world", but this doesn't work for items that don't have that option, such as the pressure cooker.
Everything disappears
Hello, every time I go to build mode then back to live mode, everything disappears I can’t see there needs, work, school, simology, relationships, aspirations, start pause speedups, the cell phone calendar notebook, household funds, the sims selection and the action sections. Iv also noticed the sims saying they can’t move when nothing is blocking them, the actions not working properly the sim freezes. Iv checked for update and it’s all updated. I’m on a ps5 slim digital. Please fix :)
Can't make changes to build
After I place one item the next item I select won't place, it flips back to where it was previously, or is carries around by my mouse indefinitely. I found by clicking a different tool across the top like the eyedropper then going back to the select tool it will let me place another item, but only one. Then click on the eyedropper again and back to the select tool, for each item I need to move or place. Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted Title fit bug report at AHQ
Some Clutter Objects Still Missing or Missing Tags
While many of the missing clutter objects are now back in the catalogue after the Jan 28 game update, these are still completely missing from the catalogue and can't even be touched with the clone tool. You can however still use the design tool on them. Base game: Spice of Life Spice Rack HSY: Battling Chess Knight Figurines Paranormal: Book of Silhouettes Moschino: The Photographer's Irritation Pastel Pop: Fondly Felted Floral Creation Life & Death: The Macabre Writer's Quill Life & Death: Johnny the Jarred Ghost HSY: Copperdale Llama Sports Mascot Figurine (thanks to sadbabcia's comment) I shared in a comment on the original bug report that I have a room on the gallery with these items (I just uploaded a new room with all 8 missing items, today, Sunday Feb 2/25). While the individual items can't be cloned, you can use the copy room tool to copy the room and thereby get a copy of the items. These two items are still lacking tags, so therefore are at the end of the catalogue, & can't be cloned (I've now added screenshots, and you can also find them in the catalogue by searching on their name): Spa Day: Nail Care Basics Cottage Living: Are you well, Well? These two items from Werewolves are in clutter, however they can't be cloned, though I also checked in a game that is on an old version (still before the Lovestruck update, v 1.107.151.1020 DX9) and they couldn't be cloned there either, so perhaps that is by design. Burglar: Stolen Items loose upgrades after returning
Hi there, Loveeee the new burglar update! but I do have a question. The burglar tried to steal my Backyard observatory (the big telescope), and while he did swipe it i got it back from the police when he got caught. but when I got it back, I noticed it did not have the upgrades I had previously had my sims install on it. Is this part of the feature and they are supposed to lose their upgrades? or is it a bug? (I am on Mac if it matters) Thanks! Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted Title
Part of a round wall missing
I have updated to the latest patch of 17/6/2025 I'm building in Nordhaven and the round walls are acting funny again. And now a part of the wall is completely gone. It happened with the foundation first when I raised it up, a part of the foundation was blank. I've placed window on other sides of the house, and now a whole part of the wall is totally gone. I think it's because I moved the house. But that shouldn't happen either. There's always been weirdness with round walls, but this is a new one. Before raising it up, it was totally fine ( see the bottom picture). I play on PC, No mods. All packs ( save about 5 kits).Counters cannot be resized
I'm on PC using Windows 11, Sims 4 Standard Edition: 1.115.253.1020 DX11 The only Expansion Packs I do not have are the three most recent: Lovestruck, Life & Death and Businesses & Hobbies. The only Game Packs I do not have are: Dine Out and My Wedding Stories. I have quite a few but not all Stuff packs. I have four kits. I use MCCC and UI cheats. Disabling them did nothing, removing everything in my Mods folder did nothing. I repaired the game, it did not fix the problem, the error persists. What happens: I cannot resize counters. I can resize island counters, but not regular counters. When using the bracket keys to resize, the green footprint will change size, but the counter remains visually the same until I move it over an object and it turns red and it displays as resized. It's very very weird. Attached are five images. 1506: sized down counter (see smaller green footprint), but visually the regular size 1507: that same sized down counter, but red as it overlaps the counter next to it, now showing as sized down 1508: a sized up counter (see 2x2 green footprint), but visually the regular size 1509: that same sized up counter, but red as it overlaps the counter next to it, now showing as sized up 1510: an island counter properly displaying being sized down This only happens with new counters. Counters that already exist on a lot behave strangely, but in a different way. When I use the bracket keys for those counter it attempts to resize, fails and then pops out of being selected. This was tested in a lot with Sims and without Sims in two separate save files, and in a brand new save, and on community lots. I renamed my Sims 4 folder and repaired the game, and booted it up fresh with absolutely no saves, no mods, no special settings, and had the same exact problem. I went back to test it on other types of objects, including cabinets, and so far only counters present this issue. And all counter shapes as well, corners, ends, etc. I do not know when this might have started, I only found out about it on June 7th and the error is still present after today's patch (June 17th, I've updated my game version). I've confirmed the glitch with two other people I know. [ROM] No Transparency in Fae-Away Stair Rail (Laptop Mode)
Greetings Sims 4 Community, I was attempting to place some railings on a staircase and chose the Fae-Away Stair Railing, as I typically do. However, to my surprise—as you can see in the attached screenshot—it is no longer transparent. I’m not sure if this is a personal glitch or a broader game bug, but it has never occurred in my game before and only began happening after the latest update. Notably, all other game railings are functioning properly, and I don’t have any mods installed. I hope this issue can be addressed and fixed soon by the EA team. [RWK] Sims always thinking appliances are dirty
I bought the Restoration Workshop kit and placed the new appliances in my sims house to work on them, immediately afterwards all my sims and NPC sims thought my all of appliances (toilets, showers, sinks, fridges, ovens, coffee machines, etc.) were dirty, even if there was nothing visibly wrong with them, and the only way to fix it was to delete and re-buy all my appliances.
