AI too slow
The AI is way too slow, both in qualifying and races. It is very easy to beat 110 AI, there needs to be a higher difficulty. This makes it very difficult to enjoy offline racing. There are also pace inconsistencies from session types, for example differences in qualifying and race pace and different pace across different tracks, however they are overall way too slow in all situations.AI straight line speed.
The AI straight line speed is absolutely absurd. I can have DRS and dump the entire battery running 0-0 wings and still not overtake or be able to defend. it was the same on launch for either F123 or F124 and it took like a month to fix it and it was unplayable the entire time.2.6KViews74likes84CommentsR&D is broken
Something about R&D is fundamentally broken this year. AI teams are often maxing out the development on their cars after only 2/3 seasons. Additionally, regulation changes no longer provide a necessary effect, with only some of the parts needing adapting rather than the whole department. It just seems like AI teams have little-no barriers with regards to maxing out their car far too quickly, even with them having reduced cash/R&D points. This makes results in My Team over several seasons boringly predictable as a result, whereas in previous years the barriers faced by AI teams developing their cars in addition to big regulation changes could see big shake-ups as far as the pecking order is concerned when doing a longer save game.Career Mode – post session stuck
In Career Mode, after completing a session (either Practice or Qualifying), the usual post-session summary screen does not appear. As a result, the "Continue" button is missing, and I cannot proceed to the next session. The game remains responsive in terms of music and background animations, but I am stuck on the session screen shown in the attached image. The only way to exit is by force-closing the game using ALT+F4. This issue still persists even after the v1.03 patch. As shown in the attached screenshot, the screen remains stuck in the same state, and I can’t even close the game normally—it becomes completely unresponsive. This is soooo annoying. The Safety Car does not regroup the cars
I was in My Team mode racing in Bahrain at 35% of the race distance (20 laps). It turns out that on lap 17, the SC deploys, and on lap 18, with almost all the cars scattered around the track, the green flag is given. It wasn't possible to catch up because delta time had to be respected, and once it was no longer required, the SC enters the pits, making it impossible for the cars to regroup. I had another problem in Saudi Arabia. Suddenly, the Bortoletto engine broke down, pulled out of the way, and the red flag came out. The game needs to be fixed urgently, because we've been having the same problems since F1 2015. With a bit of luck, next year you'll no longer have the license and a new game will come out that probably won't be the same as last year's. When racing in Australia, if a VSC is activated. The AI don't initially match delta and will carry on driving full speed. Acting like the player car isn't in front of them to the point they will just ram you off track. I've had this happen in two player career and multiplayer so far. Haven't been able to test it at other tracks but it definitely happens regularly at Australia.Verstappen AI is too fast compared to other AI
The Verstappen AI is too fast, especially when compared to other AI and when the Red Bull is not the fastest car. For me in my career he is over 70 points ahead in the championship by Spain and usually he takes pole by 0.3s then just drives off into the distance by 20+ seconds Attached is a photo of the result from the Spanish GP in my career (50% race distance) as well as the current R&D graph of the teams showing Red Bull as not the fastest car. Ultimately, this is just unrealistic and becomes very repetitive and boring. Just make Verstappen slower. Xbox Series X
