[SE] Sim keeps ski boots on all the time (Patch 1.116)
I took my sims for a day of winter sports in Mt Komorebi. I travelled to the Onsen bathhouse lot, then had both sims go skiing from there. When sims ski, the game automatically puts them in skiing boots, overriding whatever shoes they were wearing before. That is fine for skiing. Then my sims also went sledding and hiking. They kept the game assigned skiing boots on. That was also okay. You can hike in skiing boots. Then they returned to the onsen, to end their snow day with a relaxing soak. They changed into swim wear to shower. The skiing boots stayed on. That was not fine. Then they went into the hot springs. In swim trunks and skiing boots. Definitely hilarious but not acceptable hot spring behaviour. I cannot take the boots off them, because I also didn't put them on and they are not part of any outfit. Boots get removed from the sims on travel, so they aren't stuck like that forever, just while they are on the onsen lot, but it's still weird and immersion breaking. It's alright that the game gives them skiing boots, but maybe they could be tied to cold weather and/or athletic outfits, and disbled for swimwear. It just looks very strange if sims relax in the hot springs with big stompy snow boots on. Bug is reproducible for me, the first skiing interaction triggers the boots, and then the boots are applied to all outfits the sims have, including swim wear. Which might have always been like this but you only notice it when you have sims change into swimwear shortly after they went skiing. Maybe the boots should just be taken off when sims change outfits or finish skiing? The bowling shoes get taken off when sims finish bowling after all. Game crashes to desktop every 5-10 minutes
I bought the new Enchanted by Nature expansion pack, but every time I try to play, the game consistently crashes to desktop after a few minutes of playing. I've been playing in the new world, doing regular gameplay with the new pack (Natural Living skill and apothecary, I haven't played with fairies yet). I have no mods installed, I already attemped a repair, I've cleared the EA App cache, and my graphics card drivers are up to date. I don't know if it's helpful but I've included my latest crash report from the Sims 4 folder. I've also attached my DxDiag. Please let me know if more information is needed! My PC specs are as follows in case that's helpful; Processor AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D 8-Core Processor 3.40 GHz Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.9 GB usable) Storage 932 GB SSD CT1000P3SSD8 Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 (12 GB)
Black Sims (Lost texture after Patch 1.116.223/1.25)
My game is fully updated including the patch on July 10, 2025 and 2 of my Sims are "blackout". There some CC hair and clothing in my game, but neither of these are wearing any. All other Sims appear as they should. These 2 are households in Willow Creek. The fix was NOT retroactive and all pets/Sims/werewolves that were already black will not be revert. All posts that don't fit the criteria will be moved out. [EBN] [V] Fairy and Vampire Children can't summon privy bush
I think this is more of an oversight rather than an actual bug, but maybe I'm wrong so posting here. Since Faeries and Vampires do not have bladder needs once they are full occults, I understand the option to summon the privy bush as being sort of silly. But children also can't, and they DO still have bladder needs. This really needs to be adjusted/corrected so that children can still summon it and their occult state doesn't override things, because my gameplay did not include having a toilet on the lot until someone was able to craft the outhouse. The Sims 4: High School Years, for July 2025 - Before the recent (two) updates, and patch the Career Day, for Thursdays were showing up. However, they have not been showing up (after updates/patch). This allows the Teen Aspiration, to not get completed, to attend Career Day unfortunately. May this get fixed/be resolved soon. Every Social interaction Negative. Help!
Hello, The game updated yesterday. I was playing fine right before then, with the usual well known glitches but I still chose to play. I log into my game today and every interaction is negative. The Sims act appalled as if my sim insulted them and she could have said "GET TO KNOW" But they Gasp and yell and its destroying friendships. I can't play if the Sims I make cant have conversations or relationships. I retried 4 times and every interaction is still negative. Im sorry I cant screenshot but I need help Things I have already tried Remove Mods Restart new save, New Sim Repair game See if anyone else is having this problem. The last I seen was last year At this point with all the glitches, Im heartbroken. I have played the SIMS over 20 years and I have NEVER had this Unplayable problem. I dont know what else to do.
