Sims just stand there.
My sims just stand there when i play. I can click on somthing like the tv and tell them to watch it and they will but they wond do anything on there own. And even installed it on another Pc and it does the same thing. Things i've done and havent fixed anything. 1. Removed all Mods. 2. Uninstalled the game and re installed it. 3. Used the Reset Sim Option in game. 4.Tryed it on another computer.

This was apparently "fixed" but is actually still incorrectly working. To test, I gave 4 sims all 4 regular psychology and communications degrees (one from each university, without honors). Issue #1: All 4 sims could only start the career at Level 1, instead of getting the usual degree career boost being able to skip to later levels in the career track corresponding to their degree. Issue #2: CommunicationsDegreeBS (regular, from Foxbury) gives higher bonus than CommuncationsDegreeBA (Distinguished, from Britechester) unications gives a far lower bonus trait_University_CommunicationsDegreeBA

[SD] No option to teleport to Sylvan Glade or Forgotten Grotto
Hello everyone I encountered a problem with the wellness skill. So normally when I sim reaches the level 7 of the Wellness skill and when they already visited the Forgotten Grotto or Sylvan Glade, they are able to teleport there while meditating. My sim is level 10 of the Wellness Skill, and have visited Sylvan Glade and the Forgotten Grotto (I even see them in his milestones) but I have no option to teleport to those places while meditating. The only mod I used is UI cheats extension but I removed them for now cause it messes with aspirations. I repaired the game and removed cash too.Home Hustle chef / Pizza stays in the oven / doesn't automatically remove it
As the title says, it's been years now that any sims - when making a pizza - leaves the pizza in the pizza making oven after being cooked (and hearing the sound of 'ready'). The only option is that I have to click on the oven to manually remove it, which doesn't make any sense. The Sims should automatically remove it and place it.
Trees in several worlds displaying very low-quality LOD at short distances
[Tested on a fresh The Sims 4 folder, new save, no mods installed] In Gibbi Point, particularly in one specific distric, the pine trees are rendering in extremely low-quality LOD models, even when the camera is quite close. This happens despite the game being set to ULTRA graphics. Other worlds that use similar pine trees do not have this issue, which makes the visual experience here noticeably worse. It seems to be some kind of problem with the LOD configuration for these specific pines. This happens despite the game being set to ULTRA graphics. What makes it even stranger is that along the bay coast, when looking out from the pier, you can clearly see these same low-quality pine trees. Yet, right next to them, there’s another tree and a different type of pine that display normally with a higher-quality LOD. The contrast is very noticeable (the low-quality ones are marked with a yellow arrow, while the ones rendering properly are marked with a red arrow). Overall, the visual quality of this district in Gibbi Point is very disappointing. For players running the game on ULTRA settings, the graphics should look much better than this. MORE IMAGES:
[AA] Be Inquisitive about Health: 'Play with playset' doesn't complete
Hi! I'm having trouble with the "Be Inquisitive about Health" challenge. One of the goals is to "Play with a BooBoo Billy Doctor Playset and a TumTum Teddy Doctor Playset" twice. But it will not mark as complete no matter how many times I have my child sim play with it. It marked the first time but is stuck on "1/2." Hi, I play on PlayStation and had a sim trying to complete the music aspiration. She would usually get halfway to done with one song before she would be too uncomfortable and then there was never any option to resume, I would have to start a new song. Also writing a song takes super long.ERROR ON OUR END CAUSED THE LAUNCH TO FAIL
On the ea app I press play to sims4 and it says launch game as if it is launching the game then it comes with a message saying ERROR ON OUR END CAUSED THE LAUNCH TO FAIL try again a little later tried repairing sims4, clearing the cache trued putting sims as administrator it doesn't work and i have cc for sims4 PLEASE HELPSims keep stopping/cancelling out their actions to do other things
My Sims will no longer perform actions unless I either instruct them to do so multiple times or keep the selected Sim selected until the action is completed since the update released on June 1, 2025 examples: my sim stops cooking to practice writing (he didn't have any skill previously and is not in a writing career) my sim stops taking care of her baby to listen to music on another floor (the radio was off until she turned it on) my toddler wakes herself up from sleeping even though she's exhausted (there was nothing in the room to wake her up and she didn't have any other negative moodlets)
