Crashing minutes later during gameplay
I feel like I keep ending up in a horrible, endless loop, and I'm getting so tired of it. I've been using constant 50/50 methods to determine what is causing my game to crash, and I've performed multiple better exception tests; yet, nothing is resolving the issue with my game. I'm begging someone to read these texts for me and help me out because I don't know what to do when I have over 12k mods. Please help me.
Constant crashing
My game has been crashing SO much, it doesn't even freeze, it just closes the game and takes me to my desktop. I do use CC and Mods so I tried the 50/50 method but it didn't make a difference. I removed all of my mods and it crashed after 10 minutes. I tried to repair my game, I redownloaded the whole game, I removed the Sims 4 folder completely so it would generate a new one, I tried running my game on DX9, I've tried almost everything I could think of. I scoured this forum but nothing is working, any help would be appreciated, I don't know what else to do except just not play anymore lol. I attached my dxdiag and Last crash files just incase, thank you so much.
Persistent Freezing and Crashing in Sims 4 - No Mods or CC
Hello Ive been experiencing ongoing issues with my Sims 4 game that I believe may be caused by a bug. The game consistently freezes and crashes during gameplay. My Sims will sometimes be unable to enter their homes and remain stuck outside. When in Build Mode, especially while placing lots, the game slows down drastically freezes or loads the lot incorrectly houses will often appear disheveled or partially unloaded. Initially I assumed the problem was related to outdated custom content or mods. I spent over a month testing using the 50 50 method and eventually narrowed it down to just one mod. However even with all mods and CC removed the game continued to crash. Heres what I’ve already tried Cleared all cache files Repaired the game twice via the EA app Created a completely new Sims 4 folder and started a fresh save as suggested by Discord support Despite all of these steps, the game continues to crash and freeze. These issues have been occurring for several months now, and I’ve exhausted all troubleshooting steps I’m aware of. I strongly suspect there may be a bug or deeper issue within the game itself. Sims 4 DLC Missing
So, I had to redownload my game in the EA app after changes were made to my account and it disappeared. I originally played on steam, but now my game won't open unless it is installed through the EA app. Also, I have about 21 DLC that I bought through steam. None of those DLCs show up when I launch the game on the EA app. So, while the EA app does allow me to launch and play the game, I am missing all my DLC. I have tried redownloading on steam and I cannot launch the game at all because EA gives me a message saying that I don't own it. I have already contacted EA help and they sent me to forums. I don't care if I lose my saves, I just want to play with my DLC that I paid for. Does anyone have this problem and is there a solution? Thank you.Crash help
Hi there. So, I am experiencing quite an issue and am hoping someone experienced can help. Also, I hope this server is where I can go for some technical support. So, I haven't touched Sims for a few months, and am aware some updates have taken place. I do own quite a good amount of purchased content as well. Unfortunately, for the past two days, I have had a ton of crashes. Anywhere from as soon as I load up the game to maybe ten minutes into the game. Granted, I did have a ton of CC and mods. I did anywhere from narrowing down what CC it could be and mods, to clearing the cache, to verifying files in Steam. I reinstalled the EA app, my GPU is up-to-date, I even went to the extreme and reinstalled Sims itself, and started with a brand new folder. Still, nothing. I have renamed the folder, and that didn't seem to do much. I don't know if it's a pack that's suddenly corrupted, a hardware issue, which is extremely odd if that's the case, as I have a good PC. And I have even tried to lower settings to low, and I don't normally play in full screen anyway. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this has been ongoing for at least two days.No reward and damaged file tree
Hello! I have two issues: 1. my infant learned to sit up, but it did not record the milestone. She did this repeatedly, and the notification did too; but it still wasn't recorded. Also...my C drive ran out of room; so I uninstalled, and put everything on my D drive. Unfortunately, I have zero idea where to put mods. Did I break the file tree? Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
slow game performance
I need help. Here's the problem: The game is running slowly. It can't keep up with the mouse, making it impossible to do almost anything extra. The camera only moves after a few seconds, like other actions. Sims aren't moving smoothly, and I CAN'T PLAY. I contacted EA support, and they responded the first time, asking me to read the guides. Later, they said they thanked me for contacting them, but nothing happened. It not even showing up in my quests! Because of this, I couldn't complete the event. Help! Please!
GAME CRASHING after installing Enchanted By Nature
Ever since installing Enchanted by Nature my save game isn't loading at all. Just crashed instantly. I tried to reload my old save file, it loads but after i'm done using CAS the game crashed. I tried to load make a new game without mods and still the game crashing again after 5 mins of gameplay.
