HEVEN & HELL expansion pack
The Sims 4: Heaven & Hell Expansion Pack Hear me out: I don’t know how to make suggestions, but if someone can get the attention of the Sims makers, it would be amazing. Concept Overview: The "Heaven & Hell" expansion pack introduces a new supernatural dimension for The Sims, where each Sim's afterlife is determined by their deeds in life. This journey begins after your Sim passes away, with a dramatic trial that determines if they ascend to Heaven or are condemned to Hell. Players can explore a new world filled with rewards, challenges, or eternal consequences. The Trial of the Grave: After a Sim dies, they must face the "Trial of the Grave," an interactive event that evaluates their actions and personality. The trial is presided over by celestial and infernal beings who weigh the choices the Sim made in life. Did they treat others kindly? Did they steal or cheat? Every action has consequences, and the trial can lead to three outcomes: eternal paradise in Heaven, punishment in Hell, or being stuck as a ghost. Players can influence the trial by selecting arguments in favor of or against the Sim. You could hide bad deeds or emphasize the good ones, adding a strategic layer to the judgment phase. The result isn't just based on a moral meter—it's complex and sometimes relies on luck. If ghosts fail to complete their tasks in time, they risk either being bound to the mortal world indefinitely, unable to interact with Heaven or Hell, or perishing entirely. These restless ghosts must rely on new opportunities or help from living Sims to get back on track and earn enough points to move on. Heaven: For Sims who led a virtuous life or passed their trial, Heaven awaits. Heaven is a peaceful world above the clouds, filled with lush gardens, golden palaces, and endless joy. Sims in Heaven can enjoy: Heavenly Rewards: Luxuries they were deprived of in life, like fulfilling relationships, rare luxuries, or even a dream home. Angelic Powers: Bless other Sims, grant positive moodlets, improve skills, or extend afterlife happiness. Gardens of Eternal Bliss: Explore gardens, harvest divine fruits, attend feasts, or play harp concerts. Heavenly Missions: Guide descendants, help others make good choices, or spread joy in Heaven. Heavenly Pets: Celestial pets like ethereal birds or angelic kittens. Heavenly Festival: Participate in "Cloud Bounce" parties, celestial banquets, or divine karaoke. Hell: For Sims who lived wickedly or failed their trial, Hell is their destination. Hell is an eerie underworld filled with fiery landscapes and mischievous spirits. Players who enjoy chaos can indulge in: Punishments & Torture: As Satan, decide punishments based on Sims' sins. Infernal Interactions: Form alliances, appease Satan, or attempt escape. Demonic Powers: Curse others, create chaos, or haunt the living. Escape Challenge: Undertake a nearly impossible challenge to escape. Hellish Pets: Mischievous pets like imps or fire-breathing dogs. Rebellion Week: Join with others to humorously rebel against Satan. Secret Words: Throughout the expansion, Sims may find "Secret Words" that unlock abilities or new areas. These words can temporarily allow a ghost to visit Heaven, grant immunity to a punishment, or unlock hidden areas. Heaven & Hell Cross-Interactions: Heavenly and Hellish Sims can interact across realms. Heavenly Sims can save lost souls in Hell, while Hellish Sims can sabotage Heaven. These interactions lead to dramatic stories of redemption or rivalry. New Traits, Aspirations, and Careers: Traits: Sims can have traits like "Virtuous," "Sinner," "Redeemer," or "Tempted." Aspirations: New aspirations like "Achieve Eternal Bliss" or "Rule the Underworld." Careers: "Celestial Guide" to help others in the afterlife or "Demonic Tempter" to sow chaos. Afterlife Customization: Customize Heaven or Hell to suit a Sim's personality—design gardens or chaotic underworlds. Living World Impact: Heavenly or Hellish Sims can influence the living by giving blessings or curses. Afterlife Parties: Sims can throw themed parties—Heavenly Sims can host celestial banquets, while Hellish Sims have infernal raves. In-Between World: If a ghost completes their tasks but has a balance of good and bad points, they enter an "In-Between World." This realm combines Heaven and Hell. In-Between World Details: Environment: Contrasting landscapes reflecting the Sim's good or evil leanings. Powers and Abilities: Limited access to both heavenly and demonic powers. Dual Quests: Unique quests that can tip the balance towards Heaven or Hell. Alliances and Rivalries: Form alliances with angelic or demonic beings. Judgment Opportunities: Periodic judgments to determine the Sim's fate. Social Interactions: Inspire or frighten the living. Living World Impact: Influence the living with blessings or curses. The In-Between World adds complexity to the afterlife, giving Sims a chance to explore their duality and decide their eternal fate. Summary: The Sims 4: Heaven & Hell is about exploring morality, consequences, and the joys or torments of the afterlife. Players decide which Sims deserve eternal happiness, who faces eternal damnation, and how legacies live on.A Traditional 100 Baby Challenge
Thought I would start a traditional 100 baby challenge inspired by other baby challenges, but this one has a twist, you must marry your forever sim and stay with them till death and try to have at least 6 babies per generation till your sim and their generation gets to 100 Babies the old fashioned way!! I wrote up a little set of rules to follow along with. I may not post everything here but I wanted to just add the sim and who he/she is marrying at the time and how far along I've gotten. It will be a very slow play-through and will take a long time for me to complete so this is more so a look-back area for the things I've done within this challenge.. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Bo_LjUpW_gT6IwmLeInAOwH-_bs54HJdcSULSgJP6dA/edit?usp=sharing Meet Kolby West He is marrying Nalani Mahi'Ai and their Generation will start here!! Enjoy their journey308Views8likes63CommentsBuild-n-Share #185 **Let's Play!** Due 31st October, 2024
Welcome to BNS 185: Let's Play (Note: This is the long-delayed follow-up to BNS 180: Let it Snow, which introduced the elves and their quest to learn to build better doll houses and superhero lairs). You stretch out on your couch after a long weekend in the North Pole. You have really enjoyed your time teaching the elves about different types of architectural designs, but it has been a bit exhausting as well. You just wrapped up the teaching part of the job, and you’re pleased with the progress the elves have made. You have given them their "exam" requirements to build either a dollhouse or action figure/super hero lair using the techniques you have taught them. Now you have a whole month to relax before you have to go back to help "judge" their projects and offer final suggestions to the elves. The Brief: -the budget is $250,000 (this includes the lot cost). -the doll house or lair must have an "open" side, just like a real toy. -keep in mind that a "child" must be able to reach in and play in every room or space you create. -it should be at least two stories high with a staircase or ladder as well as a bathroom. -it should have at least 6 different rooms/spaces to play in. -don't forget to landscape. The Sim Challenge: -create a family or group of superheroes/action figures with at least 4 sims. -you can pick all traits, likes, dislikes, and other details. -show them enjoying the house or lair. The Room Challenge: -create a bathroom. -budget is $10,000. Remember to include the hashtag #bns185 with your build or it will not be judged! Sul Sul! In this post I'd like to introduce my Sims 4 families to you! First we have the Ridley family, which I started playing around May 2020. Second we have the Hampton family, who joined us in December 2020. On January 2021 I created the Ellison family and I played them until July 2021, but I brought them back on June 2024 to play a third Legacy challenge with them! Under here you can find a bit of information about my beloved families and their challenges. I will announce chapter updates in the replies, so I hope I can entertain y'all with that! Blog Home Page (for following purposes) About the Follow the Whim Legacy Family Tree The catch of this legacy is that the Watcher (=the player, in this case, me) can’t control the story. The heir tells their own story. You are only allowed to do the following things: • Follow the whims (=wants and fears) of the heir • Fill needs when needed • Follow aspiration goals • Complete work tasks or tasks on social events • Move the heir to another lot ONCE in their lifetime In this legacy, all offsprings, both adopted children or children from birth, from another species than human, all are eligible to become the next heir. Once all offsprings turned into teens, a poll will be opened, and everyone can vote for the next heir. Generation 1 Overview Chapters (completed) Generation 2 Overview Chapters (completed) Generation 3 Overview Chapters (completed) Generation 4 Overview Chapters (in progress) About the MySims Legacy Family Tree This legacy challenge is based on the MySims Legacy Challenge from alexia142, where every generation is based on a MySims Trophy that can be found through collecting. The challenge is LONG (20 generations), but so worth it, because every generation gives you new experiences. You must complete all of the Generation Goals in order to continue to the next generation. These goals are found on my blog, in the sidebar of every chapter. In this legacy, only children of the opposite gender to the current heir are eligible to become the next heir. The oldest, by order of joining the family, eligible living child will automatically take over for the next generation. No heir poll for this story, sorry :). All other Sims that join the household must live on complete autonomy (except for free actions, explained in the rules onmy blog page). They can live (or fail) as they please. While you're trying to keep your family alive with only your heir in control, you have to keep a score. In this legacy, all offsprings, both adopted children or children from birth, from another species than human, all are eligible to become the next heir. A spinning wheel will determine how much pregnancies the Torch Holder (or their spouse) will have to go through, and when all kids are born, the spinning wheel once again decides who will become the next Torch Holder. Pomegranate is her name, and she's known her destiny since she was just a little fruit. Her family legacy is to save seeds, perfect them, and hand them down to future generations. Not that every child in the family will be a Botanist like Pomegranate wants to be, but each child will be in charge of perfecting one plant, and of course Pomegranate's perfect plant is none other than the pomegranate. But first she has to find it. Their family name is Harvest, and their family legacy is as Seed-Savers. Pomegranate is collecting all of the harvestable from the wild that she can possibly find. She doesn't trust the quality of seed packets, so other than a few heirloom seeds (ie. seeds that came in Seasons that can't be found in the worlds), she must find all of her plants in the wild. Pomegranate is on long life span for now, and I plan on starting with Base Game, Seasons, and the Greenhouse Kit. I'll add in packs as I need them to explore and enjoy them each separately. Each child will have a name in line with the seed they are in charge of perfecting and handing down, plus they will be in charge of searching out and finding all new seeds with any additional packs that are added in their life time. Here's to a fresh start and a Legacy of Harvesters.165Views5likes27Comments👽 Miller Legacy 🛸
Sul sul fellow simmers! The Miller Legacy is my first Legacy Challenge and the way I found to explore the (for me) new The Sims 4 game in the moment I decided to buy it. It's the translation of what I originally posted in Italian here, and the new chapters are being posted on my blog here. I'd also like to point out that this legacy is currently being shared also on the parallel Sim Creative forum. This small forum has practically the same template as the old one and is not buggy, making it a very cozy place where to share the old conversations we used to have in the former Creative corner. I suggest you to give it a look! ;) Back to the introduction, with this legacy I'm basically novelizing what happens when I'm playing my game, introducing as many mysteries and issues to overcome for my sims as I can. For sure, the Miller's are not a family like the others. I'm not a fan of too strict gaming rules, thus my main rule is just: "reach generation 10 without cheating". This legacy is definitively more story-driven than rules-driven. So I'm not taking track of points in any way, often instead of choosing traits or careers randomly I choose what I think would be funnier for me to play or better for the story progression, I often move the family to new houses (not built by me because I'm a horrible builder) and so forth. In particular, I'm taking a lot of freedom about a certain cat, but also in that case I found a way for doing it without technically being cheating. As for the heir, I don't follow a strict rule but just choose the one for which I can imagine the best character development and who can give more in terms of story progression. The only rule I'm following in that sense is that I want every heir to be the biological child of the previous heir, because I'm curious to see how the genetics algorithm in TS4 work over a 10 generations span (consider this as a small experiment :P ). The full story index (beware, it's long!) can be found HERE. I'm closing this premise here because I don't want to spoil the story, so I wish you a pleasant reading through the most mysterious sides of this game ;)11KViews2likes735CommentsThe Evergreen Legacy **Gen VIII Chapter 14**

My new video series - Perfect Genetics Challenge - is now available for viewing on YouTube. https://youtu.be/iQUhw5SbutM This video is a little over 16 minutes. It is an introduction to my founder, Olivia. We first meet her in Create a Household. We see her first home and job. She meets her man and they start getting to know each other. This challenge ought to be colourful. Not only does Olivia have blue, purple, pink and yellow hair but she has a very pale blue skin and pinkish purple eyes. The challenge requires her to produce an heir, male or female, who has the exact same hair and eye colour. Once the heir is confirmed, the mother will concentrate on living her life until the heir is old enough to take on the challenge. There is no upper limit to the number of babies she might have to produce before the heir arrives. Consequently I've set the age spans to be reasonably long but will use cake to age the family up as required. I plan to stop the mother from having more babies once it is confirmed the heir has been born. The heir will age up from toddler to child when they have done all of their toddler skills. And from Child to Teen after completing all of the child skills and getting onto the honour roll at school. The teen will age up to young adult after they have been to a prom and have learned fishing and cooking skills and read all of the fishing and recipe books. This means they'll need to get to level 7 in fishing and level 10 in cooking before I will let them age up to Young Adult. They may learn other skills along the way and need to be at least A Grade students. If they haven't learned the required skills and done the required reading within 105 days they'll age up automatically. When the heir is about the age up to Young Adult, hopefully the day before the teen is ready to age up to young adult, I'll age the parents up to Adult. The Adult life stage is also quite long just in case the mother automatically ages up to adult before she has produced the heir. The Elder life stage is also long. Babies will need grandparents around for a while. I may reduce the length of the Elder life stage at some point if the elders are accumulating. Moonlit Falls is full of supernaturals and I won't worry about when that population ages up. I'll be using EA Story Progression so if the town population ages up very slowly maybe there will still be sims around town by the time my founder's descendants start moving into the general townie population. All babies born to the founder and her heirs will have randomised traits with the one exception that each heir must have the dislikes children trait. There are no restrictions on how the main household earns their income. They can go out collecting, or gardening or whatever they choose. I will be getting them the no bills ever lifetime reward asap because I have a bad habit of forgetting about the bills and have difficulty working out what the repo man has taken. Due to the lack of restrictions on how they earn/come by their money the game will have many and varied activities in it throughout this challenge. One of the first wishes my founder got is to travel to Egypt to buy a recipe book. I do plan to grant that wish soon. Perhaps she can go there on her honeymoon. She has already met her man. I made him specially for her. She's blue with purple and blue hair, he's green with green hair and eyes. But their skin colouring is subtle. I think that about covers it. I hope you decide to watch. I'm keeping the length of these episodes to around 10 to 15 minutes each. Please consider subscribing if you are going to watch the videos as that way you'll know whenever a new episode is posted.3.1KViews1like129CommentsThe Parsons Legacy (Generation 27)
