One Month One World One Year Challenge 2026
Hello and welcome. :) This challenge was started by Karababy52 (see more here) and I would like to continue it on for another year if I can. Hopefully more people can join in. The more the merrier! The premise of this challenge is pretty simple. The goal is to post one in-game screenshot once a day during the 2026 year. So, kind of like a 365 project for your sims. You will start out with a teen sim and pick your starting world. I'll share a list of suggestions, but really you can pick whatever you want. Your sim will be a teen for 3 real world months, then age-up to Young Adult in April. They will spend 4 months as a Young Adult, then age-up to Adult in July. They will spend 4 more months as an Adult, then age-up to Elder in December. Each month your sim will move to a new world to explore. I've taken all the rules and guidelines here and copied them over from Karaybaby52's 2023 post and edited them slightly. Rules/Guidelines: One screenshot post per real life day in this thread with a short text summary. One world per real life month - See monthly schedule of worlds in spoiler below. Optional: May change schedule of worlds to reflect your preferences. Your challenge Sim MUST be a teen to officially begin this challenge and post in the thread. After three real life months have passed, your Sim will age up to young adult for four months, adult for four months and finally, age up to an elder for December. Timeline posted in spoiler below. Optional: How long your Sim stays in each life stage, teen-elder, is at your own discretion. However, they are required to be at minimum a young adult to attend Uni in Britechester. *Note: If you own the High School Years EP, your Sims may be offered early graduation. If they take the offer, your teen is allowed to apply, enroll, and attend university or join full-time adult careers. Begin Rags to Riches style on an empty lot with 0 simoleons. Optional: Use the 20,000 starting simoleons to buy a starter home and furnish it how you want. Aging off Optional: May use long lifespan. All unplayed residential worlds are off limits for any kind of travel. Exception: Newcrest may be designated a 'neutral' world to place venues for your Sim to use regardless of their current world residence. Optional: Newcrest may be used to replace a pack you don't own instead. Sims may take a vacation to any of the designated vacations worlds. Rental lots in unplayed residential worlds are off limits. Aspirations released with a world must be fulfilled first. May choose a base game or other pack aspiration not in the challenge to complete afterward. Willow Creek, Oasis Springs, Newcrest and Magnolia Promenade may be used in substitution for worlds listed in the challenge for packs you may not own. In that event, choose one or two base game or other packs aspirations not in the challenge to complete per world. Your Sim may marry and/or have children. Aging up children is at your own discretion. High School attendance is not required. May use cheats to fulfill daily/promotional task requirements. *Exception: Applicable only if you do not own the High School Years EP or if you do own it, but have elected not to have your Sim live in Copperdale and do the aspirations associated with the EP in your challenge. The beginning of each new month/world must start Rags to Riches style. Optional: Your Sim may keep personal possessions, sell the rest and bulldoze the house. They may use simoleons from this sale and accumulated household funds to build or download a house from the Gallery. If your challenge Sim dies, it's game over. Optional: You may bring them back to life and continue or use another existing Sim in the household to complete the challenge. Occult states and Celebrity statuses must be removed when progressing to the next month/world. Optional: May keep acquired lifestates/statuses. *Note: Vampires can't get a suntan, which is a Beach Life aspiration task. If a new world is released with a new pack at any time during 2026, you have the option to swap the new world with another prior released world. Give yourself a break and don't stress over days missed due to internet outages, vacations/holidays, real life work/responsibilities or sickness. Extra story screenshots may be posted in the thread under a spoiler in addition to your daily post pic and short text summary. Strongly suggest a maximum of 20-25 screenshots per post. May use satisfaction points to buy rewards. Exception: Money tree seeds are disallowed. Lottery tickets are disallowed for purchase. Beginning season, length of days and moon phases are your choice. May turn off or cheat away/change all Eco Lifestyle features applied to worlds. Exception: Must be turned on while living in Evergreen Harbor. May participate in all default Holidays, modify, delete and/or add your own. May include a link to your preferred Blog site with additional story text/screenshots, in addition to your Daily Post Pic/Text Summary. Mod friendly challenge! However, please use discretion when using them. Using a mod to fulfill an aspiration is disallowed. Exception: May be used to correct bugs and/or glitches. Joining teens at high school is not required to fulfill them. "Cheating Crisis in the Canasta Community – EA Sports Needs to Step Up"
I’ve been a loyal player of EA Sports Canasta for years, and it's seriously disappointing to watch how rampant cheating has become in the community. At this point, it's not even about "a few bad apples" anymore. It’s an epidemic, and it's seriously starting to erode the integrity of the entire game. If EA continues to ignore this issue, it’s not just going to damage the competitive spirit — it will start to taint the company’s reputation. Here’s why: The Rise of Cheating: It’s no longer rare to encounter cheaters in almost every high-stakes game. Whether it’s bots, card-counting exploits, or players using external tools to manipulate results, it’s becoming unbearable. The company’s response? Silence. The worst part is, the community has been reporting it for months with little to no action from EA. Why This Hurts the Game: Cheating ruins the core of what Canasta is supposed to be about — fair competition and strategy. When the best players aren’t rewarded for skill, the entire leaderboard system becomes irrelevant. Even more casual players are being driven away, and EA’s reputation for producing quality, competitive games is being questioned. Is this the new normal for EA Sports? The Impact on the Community: We’ve got a toxic, under-reported problem here. Players who refuse to cheat are getting frustrated, while cheaters laugh their way to the top, unaffected by the broken system. It’s leading to a huge drop in engagement and genuine passion from the community. It’s time EA stepped up and did more than just turn a blind eye. The company needs to start enforcing stronger anti-cheat measures. How is it possible that such a huge gaming giant can allow this to continue without any significant consequences? I want to hear what others think about this, but if you’re also seeing this same problem, let’s call it what it is: EA’s failure to protect the integrity of their own game. Is EA Sports seriously willing to let their brand reputation be defined by a game full of cheaters?
My random event wheel
Hi all. Thought I'd share my so called "wheel" ie a list of things that can happen that i must enforce. If you haven't seen one of these its just a long list of tasks / activities and every few days I use a random number generator to tell me what's happening. You've probably seen them on channels such as Lilsimsie's and XUrbanSimsX's youtube channels. I'm not sure if others have done this before them but this is where I found this idea. Anyway enjoy. Feel free to add more to the list. There's probably something very similar to this on this forum but i just wanted to share my own. Of course use this however you want. If you roll something you don't like just don't do it or roll again. (or if you roll something that requires a pack you don't have). Of course, not all situations are gonna fit in with your save game either so just either ignore something or play out an alternative scenario as to why this would happen to your sim. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 1. Whilst coming home from work, you notice patches of your front lawn are completely dead. In the mailbox is a letter from your least favourite neighbour (the neighbour you have the lowest relationship with) saying; "Suck on that neighbour. This year I'll hold the title for the best lawn in the neighbourhood!" Completely ruin your front lawn with terrain paint and keep it this way for one sim week. You may fix it after two days if you pay a $650 simoleon. In addition, get into a fight / argument with your neighbour and find a way to get them back. (Some suggestions; paint their house yellow, set their house on fire, woohoo with their spouse) Be creative. Or devilish. However you want to play it. THIS WAS YOUR LAWN AFTER ALL. 2. Following an emergency incident at your work, it was evident that your sim did not comply with the proper Simsafe Work Standards, and the organisation has requested your position to be terminated. Have one sim (selected at random) in your household fired instantly. They may find new work in another career after two sim days, or wait a sim week to re-enter the same career, assuming they befriend two former co-workers. (If the game doesn't have any move some from the gallery in / create more co-workers and befriend them. They must be co-workers you haven't already befriended. Sims may participate in odd jobs if you desire while they're looking for work or trying to get back into their career. 3. One of your adult sims has found themselves in the heat of a midlife crisis. Give them new outfits to keep them feeling "young" and "hip". In addition, have them either; change careers, get plastic surgery (cas.fulleditmode), get a tattoo or go nightclubbing / partying for a whole sim week straight. (If you have get together you can have them join a club and have them befriend some young adults too and party with them. Have them subtract $1000 simoleons for each surgery they have (ie a nose job and lip injections will cost $2000 simoleons) and subtract $500 simoleons if you get a tattoo. Of course you could ignore these and do something else that you believe is appropriate for a midlife crisis. 4. After a wild night clubbing with friends, one of your sims wakes up with a drastic new hair cut. Keep this this new hairstyle for at least 2 days. If your sim already has really short hair (ie near shaved), dye it a fun colour or go completely bald. 5. Knock knock! Oh no its one of your family members come to visit you. Move in / create a family member to move in with you for 3 sims days. (Could be; the grandparents, a sibling, your cousin, in-laws, anyone you wish, and you may have more than one sim come stay with you) 6. Congratulations! A sim of your choice has just won an accommodation funded vacation for two, thanks to SouthSimAirlines after winning their annual charity raffle. This sim and a plus one of your choice (can be from or outside of household) are able to go on a two day vacation for free. (Make a residential lot a rental lot and add back the money it charges you for accommodation to the household funds) 7. After taking your youngest child to the optometrist after complaints of sore eyes and blurry vision, the doctor prescribed your child with glasses. Add glasses to all appropriate outfits in CAS. If your sim does not have children, guess what? The youngest sim in your household needs glasses. (refer to days till they age up). 8. Reverse welcome wagon. Move in a household to your neighbourhood, prepare some food, and then go an introduce yourself to them. They can be whoever / whatever you want. If your sim has the "good" or "outgoing" traits they must befriend the adults in the household. If they have the "mean" or "evil" traits they must become enemies with at least one sim from that household. 9. In the midst of a dark and stormy night, a young girl knocks at your door, asking for shelter. Add a child sim to your household and provide her with a bed and food for three sim days. If you become good friends with the child by the end of those three days you may chose to adopt her and have her be apart of your household. If your sim has the "hates children" or "snob" trait they must get into an argument with the child and become enemies. Proceed to then move her onto an empty lot in the world or neighbourhood. After the three days if you do not adopt her, move her into a family and have them adopt her. 10. It's not a phase mum! Change up the look and style of one of your teens and have them get into an argument with one of their parents. If you have "Get Together" have them join a club and perform appropriate activities with similar teens. Suggestions; geeky, theatre kid, jock, gothic, preppy, woohoo'ey, whatever you desire. Make sure to make their room fit the aesthetic too. 11. Oh no you've been burgled. Roll a 6 sided die and whatever number you roll is the amount of objects you must delete from your house. (No placing them in your household inventory). You then must wait 24 sim hours to replace what was stolen. If however you have retail lots which sell what you need to replace / upgrade / downgrade, you may go and purchase the item from there immediately. For example if your couch is stolen and you have a save with a furniture shop you may go and purchase a new couch right away. 12. Its time for a change. After careful consideration you decide that it's time for a fresh start. Move your household into a new home in another world. For extra fun (if you want), use a number generator to decide what world you move to. 13. Trigger Warning. Unlucky 13. After coming home from work you find one of your sims face down. Immediately kill off a sim at random (exclude children and/or teens if you wish). You may execute the death however you desire. 14. Whilst watching television an ad comes up that you can't get out of your head. "Calling all loving homes, we're approaching our busiest time of year and we need your help. Here at Quach's Animal Shelter we are overwhelmed with support. But we can't do it alone. We love all animals who come to visit, but we can't provide all of them with enough affection and love. Help us today and adopt a friend in need". Adopt a pet. You may chose one of the "My First Pet Stuff" pets too. 15. Your boss has put you in charge of this years New Years party. Throw a party for you, your co-workers and their families. In addition, your boss has given you $1000 simoleons for decorations and any venue costs. Any simoleons left over from that $1000 must be given back to your boss. If you go over budget, it will come out of your household funds. You must give back any of the budget not used. If you have seasons you may wait till New Years approaches on the calendar to throw the party. But don't forget! All that extra planning time better pay off! 16. Family Feud. Following a somewhat disappointing holiday dinner, and a few drinks, one of your sim's family members, decides to reveal your most embarrassing secrets. Have a sim from your household become enemies with a relative of theirs and fight them. (They may live in the same household). You may not try to mend this relationship, or make amends, until one sim week has passed. Pick the relative at random for more fun.

Hello! You are invited to join a monthy challenge called Planet Premades! Once a month, we make over a certain premade Sim from a new world. For December, that world is Strangerville and the Sim is George Cahill **See attachments** Directions: Makeover the sim in CAS, create a room that represents them (8x8 at most & medium walls), Makeover/build a home for that sim. *Do 1, 2, or all 3 options! No CC or Defaults. If you don't have the Strangerville pack, I do have the EA George uploaded to the gallery (ShellyE1) so you can use him as a base so you can still participate. Due: December 31st Upload with the hashtag #PlanetPremades Open to everyone to participate. All entries will be showcased on Twitch.
Tiny Builds Christmas Village Showcase video released

Yay, excitement is in the air as we get closer to the holidays so let’s kick it up a notch with another tiny build challenge. For this theme, think of vintage / Victorian buildings similar to Lemax Caddington and Dickens village sets. Challenge criteria Create a Residential or Community build, and build as high or low as you wish, however the lot size cannot be larger than 10x10. Align your architecture, colours, textures and decor with the vintage / Victorian Christmas theme. If you plan to build based on a specific building from Lemax, Dickens or similar village sets, it would be great if you post a quick note in advance so we don't duplicate. * Include at least 3 objects from any of the free EA Store Happy Holiday Presents and / or Just for Pets collections. All EPs, SPs and official EA store content can be used, however no external 3rd party content please. You can Custard check your export file to double-check. More than one submission is fine, and links to sims or households created for your residential builds are welcome. No budget limit so let your imagination soar! When your creation is available on the Exchange, just reply here with the name of your build, the download link and up to 5 pictures including front view. You can link to additional media if desired. Submission deadline for inclusion in the showcase video: Dec 19, 2025 Extended to Dec 21, 2025 * Lemax / Dicken's village buildings taken so far: Partridge and Pear / Five Gold Rings / Antiquarian Bookseller Tips! Do play test your builds to ensure no routing issues. Don’t want to have those sims stomping and getting stuck right! Windows and flooring tiles can go wonky if placed too near the lot edges. Adding them at least 1 square away should work, however test your build by placing a copy elsewhere in the world. Take a look around to ensure all is fine and fix this and any floating tiles as needed before final export. Take screenshots in Live mode. That removes gridlines from view and looks more attractive. Hidehi’s Christmas Village created by Rflong7 is a pretty builders world for use with this challenge since it features snow covered terrain, however there's just one 10x10 lot. You can easily bulldoze the existing larger lots to add 10x10s using the in-game tool, however you can build in any world of your choosing. Looking forward to seeing your tiny Christmas creations! The Witch's Tale
Rebecca Keller (New Arrival on the Way) When Rebecca figured out she was pregnant, a sudden rush of misery washed over her. It wasn't the thought having a child that bothered her, but the fact she was going to have to inform the father and her family. She didn't know exactly what the father would think, other than it would be mighty inconvenient considering his occupation and lifestyle. As far as her family was concerned, it would just be another reason to retread their previous disapproval with a new subject. Rebecca called the father with the news, and the call went a lot like she had expected. He struggled with the idea and had a hard time finding words, but Rebecca didn't fault him for that because she had just dropped a bomb on him. He assured her that he was a stand-up kind of guy, and she knew he was ... She just didn't think that was the appropriate way to handle their somewhat brief relationship. After about an hour-long conversation that consisted more of excruciatingly long pauses, interrupted by bursts of ideas and healthy dose of moral aptitude ... They both started to understand that the issue was something that couldn't be fixed right then or over the phone. Hasty decisions were what got them in this mess and were most likely not the solution out of it. Rebecca assured him that things would be okay with the child and that she was more than prepared to handle whatever was necessary. She promised him she would keep in touch and let him know what was happening ... But that he would have to settle for some photos or a video until they had a better chance to figure things out. The phone call with her parents didn't go much better, but to be honest she felt a lot easier during it than the previous one. Her parents, and her sister Marcy were going to think whatever they wanted to think and say whatever they felt the need to say, but none of it was their decision and she was only telling them as a courtesy. Following all the fairly uncomfortable events of the evening, Rebecca went to the one thing that always helped her find her way. She went downstairs, adjusted the settings on the weight machine, and started pumping iron. The cadence of the reps, her breathing ... They pushed back the anxiety as perspiration melted her frustrations. Rebecca started thinking about the child and what she wanted for it, as well as how she was preparing herself to 'Part the Red Sea' if necessary for the little one on the way. Everyone else could be whatever they felt the need to be ... But she was going to the rock that child's life would be built on ... No regrets and no turning back. Happy Simming ... 💖
