[ECO] Notifications for Footprint changing despite turned off option
I have been dealing with this bug for over a year. Basically, regardless if Eco Footprint Gameplay and NPC Voting gameplay is turned on or off, I will still get notifications of the Eco Footprint changing the environment, from Green, Neutral, or Industrial. Sometimes the environment won't change past Neutral, other times it will go to Industrial and the world is covered in smog. I have tried everything: uninstalling & reinstalling the EA App, updating the EA App, clearing the cache, repairing the EA App, and toggling the Eco Footprint & NPC Voting on & off. NONE of this works. NONE. OF. IT. Sometimes the bug goes away when the game updates or I purchase a new DLC, other times the bug COMES BACK after an update or purchasing a pack. I can't disable the pack from the EA App. I do not get the "View Properties" option from the "Manage" button, just "Manage Add Ons". I'm also not tech savvy enough to figure out how to get the "View Properties" option to appear. And since I can't figure it out, I have to repeatedly enter in the Eco Footprint Gameplay cheat code. It's VERY ANNOYING to have to keep entering in the cheat code for "Green" or "Neutral" every time the Eco Footprint changes to Industrial. I shouldn't have to use solar panels, wind turbines, or "Off the Grid" items to reduce power consumption when the Eco Footprint Gameplay & NPC Voting options are TURNED. OFF. I do use mods and custom content. However, this bug appears regardless if I have mods installed or not. Believe me, I've tried anything within my knowledge to see if the bug disappears and it won't. I am beyond frustrated. This bug makes this game near unplayable for me. How on earth can I make this bug GO AWAY?! Edit By Crinrict: Added Tag to Title, Adjusted Title
Slow queue
The queue is slow to take on new tasks. Buggy and in need of pausing the game and waiting several minutes to get queue up to speed. Happens A LOT. Both Freezing totally the whole screen or just lag of specific sims and other people in household may move on. Many times 2-3/6 sims do this at the same time. 1.116.232.1030 DX9 PATCH I have all the packs and kits and have done the last three events.
Nature is calling
Week 2 digging up stones. Nowhere in a world can i find stones anymore. Not even in a (crystal) cave. If i place a cheat stone with crystals in the world, i can dig it up, but then the event does not complete. Does anyone have this problem as well? Since the game was updated, this problem has occurred. I had hoped that with the next update it would work again. I tried this, but unfortunatley.. Please help!
Time Elapses During CAS
Whenever I am in CAS, I notice that time has elapsed in the Sim World. The most jarring example notably happens when I am at prom because the event will be over when I leave CAS. NOTES I am on a PC Cheats Used: testing cheats; move objects; show hidden objects; show live edit objects; ignore gameplay unlocks entitlement I do have CC (assets only; nothing like MCC or basemental)
Stuck In Their Shadow: Promotion skips to Level 6
During this scenario, when you need to be promoted to level 5 of the Tech Guru Career, it automatically skips to level 6. This means you can't complete the scenario step/goal to move forward with the story. I tried to use "testingcheats true" and then "careers.demote TechGuru" but it just automatically fires you, you can't be at level 5, which renders the scenario impossible to complete. Items from the 'bb.showliveeditobjects' cheat are not appearing in Live Mode.
Hi all! I am experiencing an issue with placing certain objects to residential lots and it's a little disappointing. To be clear, this isn't regarding custom objects/content or mods. These are items from the actual game packs. I put in all the necessary cheats; 'bb.showhiddenobjects' and 'bb.showliveeditobjects'. All the cool hidden objects will show up in the catalogue in buy mode, I can place them down but some items that I do place will NOT show up in Live Mode. Literally as soon as I click Live Mode, they just disappear. To be specific, I am referring to some objects from the Cottage Living pack. This pack has some really cute mushrooms that are just so pretty and I really want to add them to the landscaping on my sim's property in build mode. I can place them down but like I said, when I then go into Live Mode, they're just gone. This doesn't happen with all the objects. Just a few specifically. I really don't know why but all I can think of is, perhaps you can only have those specific objects show up in community lots?? Actually, if I do remember correctly, I think they did appear on the community lots but not the residential lots. It sucks because they're just too cool to not have them on my sim's property. I did try searching this on Google but all the search results are only coming up with answers referring to custom content and this just isn't what I'm talking about. Does anyone know why? [CHEATS] Skill Cheat Not Working To Lower Skill Level
With testingcheats on, Cheat code: stats.set_skill_level Major_Anyskills # only works on level up. Reverse or downgrade doesn't work, won't even remove any skills after inserting 0 and reloading game screen.
