Young Ghosts Return Thread plus my other mods
I had to remake this thread since 1 edit to correct stuff since It was way outdated got it falsely removed by auto mod and wanted to get the main page up to date. So I have to remake it. I'm going to use the info from mod the sims to make it easier on myself. This mod brings back the old days where you can cheat Younger sims to be ghosts. With the Life and death update. The sims team restricted on which ages can be which type of Ghosts. Which made Toddler, Infants, adult pets and baby pets to no longer be ghosts. This mod allows the old days again so they can be ghosts again. There are side effects like stretching from young meteor ghosts doing the death animation. Toddlers walking slow but other then that it works well. Toddlers who have the laughter trait can make people playful like adult. This will also fix certain features like The premade Ghost Dog Captain Whittaker and fix the wishing well issues when you get a Ghost Child from there. I made this mod personally but I had people ask me from places to share it. Pets can only be Old age for reasons. I will say this. Bugs. I don't want to get this one removed and that might have been the reason. It brings the old days. They still can't die but you add the ghost traits with Cheats like the trait equip cheat. MCCC or UI cheats. The traits were enabled for them so all ghost types in the normal game are enabled for them but not death. You just have to add the traits to them with cheats like how it was before Life and death patch. If you use Young Ghosts Return and want to upload them to the Gallery or somewhere. Make sure to include this in the description. #YoungGhostsReturn That way. People will know the mod used in the upload with young ghosts and why it's marked as custom content. Other Mods More grown up toddlers (Toddlers don't use nappies/diapers on their own unless bladder is -75 for level 1 or 2 potty skilled toddler or -100 for level 3. No more changing them since it doesn't add diaper load points but tanks their Hygiene to -100. Also hides the use nappy/diaper self interaction.) No Awake for too long Infants (Stops infants from getting the awake for too long moodlet which I stopped the infant awake time status from decaying.) Upcoming Mods None at the moment
Goals for the Painter: Work-Life Balance aspiration not completing
I am playing on a PC with only Life and Death and Get to Work installed (no cc). I am playing a character who works as a Detective. Aspirational goals that have to do with work are not being checked as completed, even though I've completed them in the game. For example, "Go to work" would not complete without using cheat codes, no matter if I went to work with the Sim or if I let the Sim go to work alone. The aspirations.complete_current_milestone usually works to fix the issue, but it is not working for the "Take a vacation day" goal.
Fairy House and Infants
I have Enchanted by Nature installed, and my mom fairy sim took the infant with her into the fairy house to sleep instead of following my action of placing the infant in the crib. The infant started to cry and both the mom sim and infant were kicked from the fairy house. From then on, none of my sims could interact with the infant in order to care for it (I also hired a nanny, who also couldn't tend to the infant). Using the "resetsim" function did not fix the issue, and I had to exit the game without saving to stop the infant from dying (I lost progress in both my sims careers) . I do not wish for this to repeat for me or anyone else.Simfluencer raise cheats not working
Hi, I'm having issues with using cheats to give my adult simfluencer a raise. My sim is already at the maximum level for the carrier, so can only be given raises now. I've looked up the cheat on google, and none of the cheats seem to be working. debug plants arent showing up
Ive played for years and never had an issue with this until this week. I do the same cheats (testingcheats true, bb.showhiddenobjects, bb.showliveeditobjects). Ive tried both typing debug and doing a clear search and only a few debug things come up, but NONE of the landscaping; trees, bushes, flowers, etc. I have no clue where to go from here, I really only use the game as a building sim and unfortunately this is enough of a reason for me to uninstall. I have TOOL installed (which means unfortunately I have to have better build buy) but it is up to date. I have no CC installed. Ive tried repairing the game. Nothing fixes it. Any help would be appreciated.[GALLERY] Favorited items don't show up on favorites tab
I previously had the issue of my gallery favourites tab only showing 25 items, and this was fixed in a patch a few months ago (if I’m remembering dates right) but since the new update a few days ago, builds that I actively favourite now don’t show up in the gallery favourites tab. I don’t know if there is a quick fix for this or if it is my own personal issue - advice is welcome - but I don’t have any mods or anything installed so it can’t be that. Please fix!!!
