[CHEATS] Skill Cheat Not Working To Lower Skill Level
With testingcheats on, Cheat code: stats.set_skill_level Major_Anyskills # only works on level up. Reverse or downgrade doesn't work, won't even remove any skills after inserting 0 and reloading game screen. [CHEATS] Sentiment cheats no longer working
Recently, I was trying to get my teenage sim to develop a crush on a friend AND trying to remove a crush from another rando (who is her first cousin, twice removed, but still.. ew) and the modifyrelationship cheat is not working. ] I have HSY and have repeatedly used the "modifyrelationship firstname lastname firstname lastname (100 or -100) sentimenttrack_" command, and once I press enter, it just disappears and makes no change. I've tried restarting the game and have also redone the cheat multiple times, and have tried using ID numbers instead... nothing. Sims can’t become soulmates
My SIM has the soulmate aspiration, and I am trying to get her to complete it. She has a husband and they are married and have been for some time, their friendship and their romance bars are both completely full. When you open their profile the status for both is just lovers, I cannot get them to achieve soulmate status. I have tried, spamming romantic and friendship interactions between the two of them, taking them out on dates and performing more romantic interactions, I’ve also tried moving the husband out of the household, and then back in, I have also used cheats to lower their romantic status down and then set it back up to full in the hopes of triggering the soulmate event none of this has worked. I own cottage living, tiny living, kitchen clutter, and seasons. I don’t have any mods or custom content in my game, nor have I ever had any. At this point I’ve given up on this game. I’m so over troubleshooting this game vs being able to play it, this is exhausting. My final attempt to get clarity on once another issue - it’s actually depressing, spending so much time and money on a game that never works correctly. why is this happening sims? Why is there NOTHING now in my apartment and no one can walk in? Another thing, upgrade your restriction for people to send screenshots or videos on this forum. We’re in 2025, we should be able to upload high def images to depict the issue without using third party software to downgrade the quality on said image or video *inserts eye roll*
The Convenient Bush not in regular BB Mode, Missing Nap/"Fertilize" Interactions

In Build Mode, filter by either Toilets or Beds, use bb.showhiddenobjects to have the Convenient Bush it appear in the catalog for §50, and place it on a lot. Then, in Live Mode, attempt to have a Sim interact with it What happens when the bug occurs? Sims are not able to Nap or "Fertilize" the bush, despite it being tagged as both a Toilet with a Bladder rating of 10 and a Bed with an Energy rating of 3 What do you expect to see? The bush being available to purchase in regular Build Mode (not just debug), and have Sims be able to use it for both bladder and energy needs Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? The issue exists in vanilla saves with mods disabled Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure I love the purple/pink flowers on The Convenient Bush and wanted to use it in builds for my future Fairy and Nature Nomad Sims. & Dogs installed, pet in household). However, I was really disappointed that my Sims can't use it to relieve their bladder, despite it being tagged as both a "Toilet" and "Bed" in the catalog when debug is enabled with bb.showhiddenobjects, and it having a Bladder rating of 10 and Energy rating of 3. bb.showhiddenobjects command. This seems like a huge oversight, especially considering yesterday's patch made the Komorebi Shrubbery Bush available in regular Build Mode in preparation for the upcoming Enchanted by Nature pack.
"Pay Bills" doesn't deduct from funds and lights have shut off
In my legacy save, suddenly I cannot pay bills and now the power company has shut my power off. "pay Bills," via the computer, mailbox, and phone, are selectable and the sim performs the action, but no funds are deducted subsequently and the bills remain with a balance. I repaired game files, I play with no mods, and I have moved to a different lot in a different world. Issue persists, and the cheat "household.autopay_bills true" has no effect even with cheats enabled.
Stuck In Their Shadow: Promotion skips to Level 6
During this scenario, when you need to be promoted to level 5 of the Tech Guru Career, it automatically skips to level 6. This means you can't complete the scenario step/goal to move forward with the story. I tried to use "testingcheats true" and then "careers.demote TechGuru" but it just automatically fires you, you can't be at level 5, which renders the scenario impossible to complete. Game Breaks after using BB.Moveobjects
Basically like the title says. as soon as I type in the cheat I can move items but not place them back down. I can adjust the roof but it won't actually apply. And if I try to save the game if just loads forever... That's it, no other actions, just opening the game, typing the cheat and oop, it's broken. On PC but no mods active. I didn't have this problem before the update but I can't find any other threads about people experiencing the issue since?
