[CHEATS] Skill Cheat Not Working To Lower Skill Level
With testingcheats on, Cheat code: stats.set_skill_level Major_Anyskills # only works on level up. Reverse or downgrade doesn't work, won't even remove any skills after inserting 0 and reloading game screen. During this scenario, when you need to be promoted to level 5 of the Tech Guru Career, it automatically skips to level 6. This means you can't complete the scenario step/goal to move forward with the story. I tried to use "testingcheats true" and then "careers.demote TechGuru" but it just automatically fires you, you can't be at level 5, which renders the scenario impossible to complete. I’ve run in to this problem countless times pretty much since the game came out and before I even started playing with mods. I sometimes want to change a townie’s outfit without having to go to manage world. This can be done by using the testingcheats cheat and shift-clicking any sim and chose “edit in CAS”. Whenever I then exit CAS, my active household then changes to that household that I was editing, not the one I was actually playing as. I then have to go to manage world and change back, going through multiple loading screens. I’ve no idea what causes this and while it doesn’t happen every single time, it does happen pretty frequently. It’s annoying since I sometimes just quickly want to change whatever horrendous fit a townie chose. And then when I change back to my household, all the actions I had going on have been canceled and my sims are doing the most random things. If I had any events going on, they have been cancelled and sometimes guests (and even household members) have left the lot, even if there was plenty of time left. Anyone else experienced this? It’s been pretty consistent for years for me, with or without mods, on any save file, and even on different computers. Edit By Crinrict: Added tag to title. When launching my game after 1.121.361 patch, I get a white pop-up for some kind of ad that is accompanied by a lastuiexception. No idea what the ad is supposed to be for, maybe the new pack (I DO NOT have the new pack)? I'm able to just x out of it without any issue, but wanted to mention it anyway. This is on a completely vanilla game load! My SIM has the soulmate aspiration, and I am trying to get her to complete it. She has a husband and they are married and have been for some time, their friendship and their romance bars are both completely full. When you open their profile the status for both is just lovers, I cannot get them to achieve soulmate status. I have tried, spamming romantic and friendship interactions between the two of them, taking them out on dates and performing more romantic interactions, I’ve also tried moving the husband out of the household, and then back in, I have also used cheats to lower their romantic status down and then set it back up to full in the hopes of triggering the soulmate event none of this has worked. I own cottage living, tiny living, kitchen clutter, and seasons. I don’t have any mods or custom content in my game, nor have I ever had any. Recently, I was trying to get my teenage sim to develop a crush on a friend AND trying to remove a crush from another rando (who is her first cousin, twice removed, but still.. ew) and the modifyrelationship cheat is not working. ] I have HSY and have repeatedly used the "modifyrelationship firstname lastname firstname lastname (100 or -100) sentimenttrack_" command, and once I press enter, it just disappears and makes no change. I've tried restarting the game and have also redone the cheat multiple times, and have tried using ID numbers instead... nothing. When in CAS saving a relationship to partner (with the cheat cas.fulledit) it does not save. Well, it does, but not when going back to the game. I made a video to show what I mean. I play on pc. For testing I created a new save file with no mods and repaired the game. She is in level 8 of the romance consultant career. She has the skills requirement to get a promotion. She has done the work task as well. There is the golden symbol that pops up when your sim is going to get promotion. But my sim can't get promoted, she is stuck in the 8th level. I have also tried cheat codes to give her promotion and I have also tried MC Command Center to cheat to get my sim promoted but they don't work either. Sims are not able to Nap or "Fertilize" the bush, despite it being tagged as both a Toilet with a Bladder rating of 10 and a Bed with an Energy rating of 3 What do you expect to see? The bush being available to purchase in regular Build Mode (not just debug), and have Sims be able to use it for both bladder and energy needs Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods?
