Recruiting Idea for 27’
Recruiting: We need dealbreakers that are less ridiculous. For example...I usually just play offense only, so I have no control over what my defense does, but I'll lose linebackers because their dealbreaker is based on how many tackles they get. For receivers, it's based on how many receptions receivers get, so if I'm not getting at least 20 catches per game for just WRs, the dealbreaker will fall, and I'll lose the recruit. It's kinda ridiculous. The dealbreakers make sense to have, but they either need to have their thresholds lowered or they need to add multiple options per recruit... For example: If a receiver has multiple dealbreakers (or maybe not call them "dealbreakers" but rather "motivations")...If he has multiple motivations, let's say 3 of them... 1. Team Receptions (Not just WR receptions) 2. Team Receiving Yards 3. Team Receiving Touchdowns Then you could take those and weigh them or use percentages. Let's say it's 33.3% per, unless we can find a 4th to add to round it out to 25%. They could make a motivation gauge for each player, and that gauge could go up or down, based on how much of each of those motivations your team is getting. This way, you could still get a recruit if you have a lot of yards and touchdowns, but don’t throw the ball 50 times per game. Another thing...They need to have coach prestige grades for each coaching position. It's so frustrating that you can win 3 championships in a row and somehow have a B- coach prestige in recruiting. Sorry, but I'll NEVER feel like that makes sense. The coaching positions need to have a breakdown similar to what I said above, but it should be like 80/10/10 (HC/OC/DC) or something like that. When recruits and media talked about Alabama when Saban was there, they didn't say..."Well, his offensive coordinator was hired elsewhere, so he's not all that prestigious anymore." It's stupid and very shortsighted.5Views0likes0CommentsForced Coach Retirement Bug in Long Dynasties (Affects All User Coaches)
I’ve encountered what appears to be a dynasty-level forced retirement bug affecting all user-controlled coaches, not just the coach that triggers the retirement condition. Setup / Context: Offline Dynasty Year: 2054 Two user-controlled coaches Coach A (HC) reached forced retirement threshold Coach B is in Year 5, different team (Louisiana Tech), different coach slot Expected Behavior: Only Coach A should be forced to retire. Coach B should remain active since he has not reached any age or career limits. Actual Behavior: After retiring Coach A, the game forces Coach B to retire in the same transition, even after: Transferring dynasty control and commissioner to Coach B Moving Coach B to a different school Confirming Coach B is well under any retirement threshold This suggests the forced retirement flag is being applied at the dynasty level, not the individual coach level. Impact: Long-running dynasties (30+ seasons) become effectively end-of-life Multi-coach dynasties cannot continue generational or legacy play No in-save workaround appears to exist once triggered Request: Can the team confirm: Whether there is a hard dynasty-year cap that triggers global coach retirement If forced retirement logic is intended to be per-coach or per-dynasty Whether a patch can decouple retirement logic so only the qualifying coach is affected This is not a cosmetic issue—it directly breaks long-term dynasty continuity.59Views0likes1CommentDynasty Coaches should be able to choose...
One of the most frustrating aspects of the game is that if I am the best coach in the game, I still have absolutely NO SAY on where I want to coach. I am stuck with the same BS 8 offers the computer spits out each season!?!?! This is ridiculous. If i am the best coach in the country, I should AT LEAST be able to express interest in a specific coaching position. I say this specifically because the ai coaching options that are generated are basically garbage! I enjoy building a team to the point where it is unstoppable just as much as the next guy, but once it gets to that point playing the actual games becomes too easy. So I would like to be able to go back to the VERY bottom of the ladder and start over. If I am the coach at (insert power conference school here) and I have won 5 national championships in a row, I should get to CHOOSE where I go to coach. EVERY school in the country would fire their existing coach at the drop of a hat to get that guy. And I'm not even asking to give us the entire pick of the litter, but if the job is a downgrade from the current position, I should be allowed to express my interest in moving to that school. Especially if I am wanting to go to overall rated 56 Sam Houston State!!! Surely I am not the only person wanting this????33Views0likes0CommentsIf you retire too many created coaches you can't sign the contract anymore
so if you make about 15-25 created coaches then retire them, you are very likely to not be able make another one as you can edit the info but then you can't sign the contract and it permanently ruins the dynasty. you cant create another one. I think there is a limit hard coded into the game , and then I cant sign the contract anymore no more created coaches. frustrating35Views0likes0CommentsGameplan!!!
Please bring a gameplan and practice plan in. like what madden has, so you can gameplan against your opponent. To see what their defense and offense does on certain downs. Then practice plan to boost ratings in the areas you want to attack.... ???? Is this too much to ask with madden you have shy of 40 teams but don't know the load it would be with 130+.28Views0likes1CommentDynasty says a user is occupying a team but there isn’t.
A user left the league and I brought in a new one to take over his team (Texas) but when he tries to join it says someone has that team even though there isn’t a user occupying them. Have tried sending invites. Joining through password. Also I tried retiring my coach and switching and it still says someone has them. I have attached a photo showing where the coach is now Rich Rod with no user attached and in the team selection screen it shows a user has Texas.231Views1like6CommentsCoach Offers are based on Pipeline that we cant change
this is frustrating aspect where coach offers are tied to their pipeline that we cant change. I remember in early CFB 25 we at least were allowed to change pipelines for coaches but a later update removed that ability. Frustrating96Views0likes0CommentsHiring Coordinator Logic Restriction Is terrible
as Head Coach in real life you get to hire and fire OCs, DCs freely implement your scheme, but this game limits the options to a few horrible picks and some are big name HCs, and then you have OCs getting hired for DC positions, the entire thing doesn't make sense, we should be allowed as Head Coach to hire whatever coordinator we want to that is available instead of a limited number of horrible picks. The Coaching Carousel logic is beyond horrible and EA is determined not to fix it. we have seen that the past 6 months they don't care at all about offline dynasty players which is the only mode I even play.81Views0likes0Comments
