Conference Rebuild

Just wondering if anyone has ever tried to rebuild an entire conference rather than just one school? With the option to control multiple teams in an offline dynasty, I was thinking of rebuilding the MAC to become the best G5 conference.

The plan would be to take over 4-5 current MAC schools and play their games, recruit etc. I know it would be time consuming and potentially tedious but I think could be a way to keep Dynasty interesting. Then with conference realignment try to attract some bigger G5 schools to the MAC. 

Anyone got any thoughts?
