Forever save file tearing apart because of for rent corruption
Hi, I don't know if this is the proper way to report bugs but there's a lot happening to me right now and I want to explain it in details. I have a forever save file fully renovated by me and stuff from the gallery, all worlds, lots and households. I made with concius, pack and money limited, so I don't overload the save. As the title says, my save file has been hit by corruption and I checked that everthing that happened is related to for rent EP. How do I know? Because removing the EP makes the bugs desappear, but that leads me to get the pop up in game of "save without the missing content may occur in problems" or something like that (I've got the game in spanish) and a bunch of homeless bald naked sims. And I dont want it. So I want to explain everything since I've been noticing it and what I've identify as my/the problem, step by step. I've been playing with for rent since the release date, no problems at all (apart from common bug like not beeing paid, but nothing serious). So lets dive chronologically into the corruption: 1. I have several apartment lots in diferent worlds and all of them are rented by sims I created o download from the gallery and works fine. The problem comes when I tried to move in the pre-made tenants that comes with the pack (it happened to me with the Zaki Household). When I move them from manage worlds after occupying the apartment, it happened: 2. Firts the visual bug of the household not being placed in the new lot after beeing placed in the new lot. Then the world the apartment is becomes corrupt, full white screen, inaccessible) The only thing I was able to do was delete Zaki Household to access the world (it was Willow Creek lol), but the corruption has already started... 3. Next thing, on The Roadstead in Magnolia Promenade, I placed a lot from the gallery, went back to manage worlds and back to the lot and wow... every other lot looks like the default one in all worlds, like nothing wasnt been change at all, the lots keep and look the same from manage world and when you load them, is the other ones you see in the neighborhood that looks like default. The only thing I was able to do was delete it and leave it emty. 4. And now with the release of EBN EP, I'm stuck in loading screen when I go to Everdew, no problem with the other two neighborhoods. Nothing I've done makes the save file load that hood and I don't know what to do to fix it or if it has a solution. I tried without mods and tried to repair the game from the EA app and nothing works. In a new save file Everdew loads fine. Also if I remove FR EP, the neighborhood loads in my forever save file so that's how I know everything that happened comes from there. Feels like I've been dodging the corruption doing diferent stuffs till now. I have a save slot as backup before EBN EP release but not before corruption happened, so I'm duck. Maybe the pre made townies from innisgreen "not being fairies" in manage worlds and CAS but being fairies bug like the Summerdream in existing save files before release of EBN EP is related to it. Sorry for the long report and my english, hope is usefull for somebody to avoid or reverse corruption or even geting the problem to be fix for real if I could have identified the root of corruption. Think I'm quiting the game till corruption with FR EP is fixed not only in new save files but in already corrupted ones.
Sims 4 Duplicate world and Lots infinite loading
Just bought Enchanted by Nature and loaded it up after making sure most of my mods were up to date. Loaded in just fine, left my current family and looked at the new map, everything still fine. Went to Chestnut Ridge and tried entering the Canter lot 30x30. Infinite loading screen. Reloaded, tried again, infinite load. Tried the larger lot, heard the music queue that loads into a lot, continued to infinite load. Tried a repair, still didn't work, did a 50/50, still didn't work. tried with empty Mod folder, still won't work. Repaired again, none of the lower lots are working. I could load into the upper worlds lots just fine. I then noticed I had 2 of the new world on my world menu screen. Currently unsure if I want to save at this point due to a potential corruption to my save files. Loaded an older save, tried to load into the Chestnut Ridge lower lots, still hear the music that loads into the lot but continue to stay on loading screen.The missing necktie
Okay sounds so dumb I just am loosing my mind I feel schizophrenic. So I am making my little pony characters right I gonna add them to the gallery when I am done I made applejack and there was this perfect red little necktie idk what pack or base game there’s no cc I am ps5…I am playing been some time and it’s gone..I swear it was just there I look it’s gone.. I know it was there I have pictures!? If someone anyone can help me find it maybe a certain pack I had installed is gone or maybe it’s base game I am looking in the wrong places maybe it’s not under necklaces!? IDK when I download it form my library it’s gone!? BUT ITS THERE IN THE PICTURE
Inventory bug
Hi there, my sims 4 gameplay is bugged, I don't know how else to explain but when I load up a game and playing a household, if I press on my sim's inventory, it bugs out the entire game to where I have to reset my whole computer. For example, I could open up my sim's career thing, but once I click on inventory that's where everything gets messy. If I open build mode, it won't let me place, delete, or even go into live mode again, not to mention not letting me close the game. If anyone has the same issues please let me know!! I am greatly confused and would love to play the sims again!Can't get to level 10 in career or receive earned trophies!!
Ever since the new natures calling event, I have been having issues after issue. First my game was crashing ALL THE TIME! THEN I noticed I was not receiving copies of the books my SIM was writing. Next I achieved the 5 aspirations trophy and didn't Receive it!! Grrrr. Now I can't progress to level 10 in the writing career, which I have been working on for a VERY LONG time. I have never had so many problems with this game and I am a veteran player. More irritating is that this is my oldest save game and I have gotten to seventh generation, working towards another trophy, and I think all this issues might have corrupted the file. Lastly, just last night, I can't redeem my event rewards. It's says I am not connected to the Internet! What a crock!!Holiday stuck on repeat
In my most recent save, something happened and now it’s repeating the last holiday (my creation - Gnome Patrick Fools) anytime there is a new holiday on the calendar. This started when I downloaded the new expansion pack. I tested it by creating a new holiday to start on an empty day and sure enough, Gnome Patrick Fools again. I have tried ending it early, playing it all the way through, waiting for the year to come around again and deleting it entirely etc etc. Nothing has worked. The specified holiday activities are also stuck on in the action menus - regardless of whether there is a holiday scheduled or not. Holidays work as expected in a new test save but I don’t want to forsake my save!! I do not use any mods.
Error Code 117
I play rotationally and when I try to load into one of the families, I keep on getting error code 117 that says to reload my game. I repaired and and still the same thing. I have had this save file for many years and am very worried it’s corrupted. I was able to load into a different family, which is good, but does someone have an idea? (I play vanilla, no mods or cc at all)
