A whole neighborhood gone.
Since the update I have not been able to find any of my builds in Newcrest, I spent two and half weeks building everything and everything was there two days before the update. There was no custom content, I was able to find two of them but they said that the content was not downloaded to I can't place the lots. I have all most all the packs. please help. I tried to repair it, I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. I am not a tech person but I lost all my hard work. It is so frustrating.
Corrupted saves / error code after EA App update (tried all standard fixes)
Hi there, I haven't played for a few weeks. Today, I updated the game via the EA app. However, I can't load my game now and always get the following error code, no matter what I do: I tried the following things several times: - Recovering the EA app, Repairing Sims 4, Reinstalling Sims 4 - Running the game without mods - Running the game without the tray and mods - Trying to recover saves within the game - Trying to delete the whole Sims4 file and generate a new one - Deleting caches, etc. I tried reloading an older saved file that had worked previously, but nothing worked. The game only runs if I delete the save file and start a new game. Otherwise, I get this error code. I have several years of saved games and I'm freaking out at the thought of starting again. Do you have any idea how I can fix my save files?Several Issues with my Legacy Save File
When I travel to a lot, it shows on the map but is empty when my sims arrive as if I had bulldozed the lot. This happens with both lots I have placed from the gallery and EA created lots Some of the lots where I have replaced the default house with a lot from the gallery have reverted back to the original lot on the map. Some of them still have the new lot's name on it and some have gone back to the original lot name. I have filled almost all of Newcrest with lots from the gallery and none of them show up on the map. The names are still there but the lots look bulldozed. This is a very large save file as I have played with this family for 10+ generations. I have I think 3 residential lots placed in this game. No CC or mods.
Save won't load
My current save won't load. The game launches but when I click to play my current house hold I get the blue loading screen and it just stays there. It won't actually load the save. I've waited several hours on multiple occasions. I googled trying to find a solution and it said I needed to update my mods or cc but I don't play with mods or cc. The last time I was able to successfully play I added 2 horses to my household. I'm not sure if that would cause it not to load. Is there anything I can do or do I just need to start over? Thanks
The simology panel freezes the games and the family tree does not appear.
After the update ofthe sims4 April 28th 2026, everytime I open simology the game will freeze and al so the family tree is not loading at all. I have tried removing mods. it is still not working. renaming the files to sims4_old. it is still not working uninstalling and reinstalling game . it is still not working. anybody haveany solution.Stuck on the loading screen when exiting empty lots.
I've had this persistent issue where, upon exiting three of the lots in the San Myshuno neighbourhood, the loading screen gets stuck (going on forever), and the only way I can close the game is by forcing it through Task Manager. Two of the lots are now bulldozed and completely empty, so no mods are used there, but it keeps getting stuck. It took multiple tries to just get the game save the lots bulldozed, which only happened when I got lucky once or twice, and the loading screen was not stuck anymore. The third one I gave up on. The two lots that are empty now and lagging are in the Spice market neighbourhood (30x30), and the third one is one of the apartments in the Hakim house, Arts Quarter neighbourhood. Please help, as this is incredibly frustrating now, having 3 lots that are unusable, which significantly affects my game. Thanks in advance!
Household won't load
I have an issue where my household is stuck on an endless loading screen. I have to open the save from the load option, not resume, because if I click resume then it also doesn't want to load. I can edit families in CAS and edit the lots, but if I try opening any household (played or not) it just won't load. I tried moving my family to a different lot but that didn't do anything. I have mods, but I already took them out of the mods file, repaired the game, and then reopened my laptop and it still didn't work. Does anyone know what could be the cause and how can I fix it?? Please help:((
