Apex legends possible corruption in installed apex files
Hi everyone. I have recently come across this issue where I start my game and I get this error and boots me out. I have tried everything I can find online like, verifying the integrity of my files, deleting my pak files, disabling all anti virus, restating PC, opening the game with DX11, getting rid of any overlays or anything in the background with no luck. i used to play on Oregon servers living in Oregon avg 35-40 ping no lag after the aws "changes" every game every game mode 100+ with prediction error and every other symbol unplayable lag and no reg even contacted my ISP and speeds and ping are perfect on my end. tabs not working currency loading i can’t access any tabs on apex my currency is loading and my battle pass THAT I PAID FOR isn’t tracking any progression. i have deleted the game and reinstalled 2 times restored licenses . This error just occurred out of nowhere when the game was running fine the day before. It happens during the Initializing step of the anti cheat I've tried : Reinstalling the game, the EAC, in different drives, both SSD and HDD. Disable Selective Startup Items as instructed by the customer support live chat. Running both the game and anti cheat as Administrator. Hi, I received your email. The issue hasn't been resolved. I still have no access to any cosmetic features. I can't change any badges, skins, trackers etc... my metals and apex coins are glitching out and it will let me buy coins but I can't see them. It will only let me play the game. I still can't access the store, it says "store processing" but I can't click or buy anything, everything is glitching out. My battlepass also isn't moving it's stuck on lvl 26, and I've paid for the battlepass. This is an individual account issue. I've tried adding my account to a different console, I even added it on a pc, but the issue is still there. So this is something that you guys have to fix, nothing I can do will fix this, ive literally tried everything. I've put in alot of money on this game, and my account is a day 1 account. My Apex Legends crashes without any error messages or popups every few matches. I have a PC running Windows 11 (Alienware) and play through Steam What I have tried thus far: 1) Restarting my PC 2) Reinstalling apex legend 3) Updating my graphics drivers, Windows OS 4) Running the game with NVIDIA Debug Mode 5) Adjusting graphics settings down (even though my machine can handle max specs) 6) Stress test found no issues with PC One thing I noticed was that in the past when I launched the game using DirectX11 it would work perfectly fine, but with DirectX12 it would crash like I described above. This is odd because my machine is totally DirectX12 compatible (I verified). With the latest Apex update, where they have removed DirectX11 compatibility, I have no workaround and these crashes every few matches persist. This is so incredibly frustrating. I reached out to EA customer support and chatted with a representative - I was told to try a clean boot of my PC, but that was it. I was told that if the problem persists after trying a clean boot to simply post on this forum and to wait for a mod to address the issue. Apex needs to fix this ASAP - the game is barely playable!
