GAME CRASH IN LOBBY WHEN STORMPOINT IS ON ROTATION
yesterday and also today i started playing my first matches after the split changed ......and i noticed that everytime storm point is in ranked or unranked i cant play the game ....it just crashed and closes alone .... even now when the map changed in unranked and its stormpoint the moment i log in after 3 seconds the game throws me away ....please fix the issue....
Storm Point Crash – Possible Fix (Shader Reset + Clean Driver Install)
I was facing constant crashes whenever Storm Point was in rotation. Here is what I did step by step and what seems to have fixed it for now. Steps I followed: I used AMD Cleanup Utility to completely remove my GPU drivers I installed the latest drivers using AMD Auto Detect Software I launched Apex and shaders loaded but the game crashed as soon as I entered the lobby I opened AMD Software and performed a Shader Cache Reset I launched Apex again and shaders reloaded Result: After the shader reset the game started working normally and no crashes so far. Current Status: I have played for around 1 hour including Storm Point and have not experienced any crashes yet. Note: This might be a temporary fix but it is working for now. Update (Possible Fix / Workaround): I tried a different approach and wanted to share an update. First, I used the AMD Cleanup Utility to completely remove the AMD software. After that, I launched the game again, but it still crashed. Then I went back into the AMD software settings and performed a shader reset. After doing this, I launched the game again and now it has been running fine for the past 30 minutes. Storm Point is still active in the lobby, and so far the game has not crashed. Not 100% sure yet if this is a permanent fix, but it seems more stable than before. Will update again if the issue comes back.

So, whenever i open the game to play on steam platform it crashes instantly after clicking "continue" button before entering the lobby, the game just closes, it does not freeze, it does not bluescreen, it just closes and leaves no error after closing. Sometimes it gives 2 errors, i will leave screenshots. The first being a easy anticheat reacting to a AMD latest driver .dll named "amdihk64.dll", after deleting it completely from system32 it does not give this error anymore and i do not see any performance loss in other games or in apex legends. This bug only happens when storm point map is in rotation, heard more people complaining about this crash bug on reddit in the last 3 days since the update released. I wanted to play this game tons and lately it crashed on me not even exagerating, at least 60 times. So i would really like a compensation on my account, yk what i mean, apex pack with heirloom inside as you did give when these kind of problems appeared to players.Game crashes on storm point
After the latest update i have had these issues: Game crashes when loading into storm point. I have tried everything. The only solution that has kind of worked is reinstalling drivers. It works for a few hours then boom crash and cant play storm point again. There is no error when crashing it just boots me to the desktop. Hello, so the game keeps crashing just a couple seconds after launching it and getting to the main menu. At first i thought the game files or the EA app was faulty but after rapairing the files and trying Steam too, the problem wasnt fixed. I just read some peoples problems on your forum and some of them are reporting the same problem. Please fix it as soon as you can! Hi everyone, I’m facing a serious issue in Apex Legends specifically when the Storm Point map is in rotation. Every time Storm Point becomes active, my game crashes along with an integrity error. Other maps run completely fine without any issue. Here’s what I’ve already tried: Verified game files multiple times Used AMD Cleanup Utility for a full clean uninstall Reinstalled fresh GPU drivers Disabled AMD Radeon Image Sharpening Reinstalled multiple related software Tested different settings and configs At one point, I thought disabling sharpening fixed it, but later realized Storm Point was out of rotation. So the issue is clearly tied to that map. This is extremely frustrating because: The game works perfectly on other maps The crash happens consistently only on Storm Point I’ve already spent hours troubleshooting If anyone has a real fix, please help. Hello, after the recent Apex Legends March 2026 update, my game is crashing as soon as I enter the lobby. I am using an AMD GPU, and 2 of my friends with AMD GPUs are having the exact same issue. The game opens normally, but the moment we reach the lobby, it crashes and closes. We already tried reinstalling the game, verifying files, and basic troubleshooting, but the issue is still there. This started after the recent update, so it looks like it may be related to the patch and AMD GPU compatibility. Please investigate this issue and confirm if a fix is being worked on.
