Possible corruption in installed Apex files
For a few moths i have this error on starting game. Can someone from support answer what it can be. I tried repair game (5 times) i reinstalled game (3 times) i reinstalled windows with formating disks. I tried different gpu drivers, i disabled AV and firewall. I tried to open game with "start_protected_game". I bet i tried more solutions but i can't even remember them.FPS Drop When Facing Certain Direction
After the latest update (June 24), Apex performance dropped heavily on my system. I used to get stable 145–230 FPS across all maps, I now get 40–80 FPS when facing certain directions, but 300 FPS when looking elsewhere. I’ve tried multiple AMD drivers (including 25.6.1, 24.3.1, 24.8.1 WHQL), reinstalled Windows and Apex, cleared all game configuration files like videoconfig.txt and tested all relevant launch options and autoexec tweaks. Nothing has fixed the issue. This doesn’t happen in other games that I tested. Hi, I recently upgraded my PC with the following specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D GPU: MSI RTX 5070Ti Gaming Trio OC Motherboard: MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk WiFi PSU: Deepcool PQ850M, 850W 80+ Gold OS: Windows 10 22H2, Build 19045.6093 (fully updated) GPU Driver: Latest NVIDIA driver 32.0.15.7688 (576.88) I’m experiencing crashes with the following error: commandline: "F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Apex Legends\r5apex_dx12.exe" -steam +fps_max unlimited -game R2 title: Fatal Error - Engine Error error: [DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED] : 0x887A0005 - DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED The video card has been physically removed from the system, or a driver upgrade for the video card has occurred. The application should destroy and recreate the device. Initially, the game crashed to the desktop without any error message. Switching to windowed mode allowed me to see this error. My windows event viewer just displays information message: File System Filter 'EasyAntiCheat_EOSSys' (Version 10.0, 2025-06-25T08:45:25.000000000Z) unloaded successfully. The GPU logs in Device Manager show no critical errors during these crashes. I’ve tried a ton of things: Rolled back NVIDIA drivers to versions 572.47 and 576.28. Verified GPU: no issues in other games, no artifacts or black screens. Ran tests like MemTest_Vulkan and FurMark (1 hour, 99% gpu load - no errors). Lowered power limit, memory, and core clocks using MSI Afterburner. Ensured the GPU is securely connected and power cables are properly seated, including trying different PSU slots. Performed a clean install of Windows 10. Modified the registry, setting TdrLevel to 0. Tested RAM with MemTest86 and disabled EXPO profile. Stress-tested CPU with OCCT, lowered voltages in BIOS, disabled PBO and integrated graphics. Tried playing through both Steam and the EA client. None of these steps resolved the issue. This error occur randomly after 1–4 hours of play. My game settings are maxed out at 3840x2160 resolution, 165 Hz, with Dynamic Super Resolution on a Full HD monitor. I tried playing at native 1920x1080, and crashes occur less frequently but still happen. I experienced similar crashes on my previous setup (RTX 3080, Ryzen 5 5600X), but I didn’t play often enough to investigate thoroughly. Please HELP!Game crashes while loading shaders
Game crashes regularly at 79.9% shaders loaded. Computer restarted, "game repair" in the EA app. Game has worked since the most recent update but no longer now. This is not a new issue, it was happening last season as well, but now it has finally reached the point where I do not feel I can continue to play Apex Legends. I've played since release and have roughly 4k hours in. I currently have materials to craft a mythic, but I don't see the point as the game is unplayable now. I loved this game, will definitely miss it, and would love to play again if this is resolved. I frequently (every 5-8 games) crash to the desktop in the middle of the match. I have a fairly new machine: Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-14700KF, 3400 Mhz, 20 Core(s), 28 Logical Processor(s) Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 32.0 GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER running 5120x1440 From what I've read from others, this can be fixed by reverting to DX11, but DX11 support has been removed.91Views3likes7CommentsCrashing in BR only
The game is crashing in Battle Royal mode only. It seems like it just gets closed at any random moment without exception or error. There are no logs in the Event Viewer except 5 warnings from EASY anticheat: File System Filter 'EasyAntiCheat_EOSSys' (Version 10.0, 2025-06-25T07:45:25.000000000Z) does not support bypass IO. the game froze when i was matchmaking, only from my end, client-side crash, i waited in the matchmaking screen or whatever we call it for like 10min or more, the game totally froze and hang on me, i couldn't do anything except kill the game and re-launch it, then apex does this to me, can't they just check their logs or something for what happened instead of banning me for 10min? can't they link this to the game logs? just banning mem for fun? as i was supposed to kill the game, this is stupid from your side apex33Views0likes2Comments
