Things that are currently broken
Spawn map jerks all over the place since last update Weapons still get dismounted when firing Vehicle first person view becomes really bright after last update When in ADS and firing at target, the view would all of sudden **bleep** in some other directions Player visibility was fine before the update, now it feels like everyone is wearing snow camo61Views9likes5CommentsStrikepoint objective bug (after patch)
sos... is there any1 working at ea anymore? Since the last patch, a weird technical issue has appeared: whichever team touches the objective first wins the game, no matter kills or if u steal the objective from them. It basically makes Strikepoint completely unplayable. I know the devs don't seem to care much about Strikepoint. The number of bugs that have been present since launch and never fixed already shows that, but this one has completely broken the entire game mode. On top of that, Strikepoint hasn't received any meaningful updates since launch: no ranked mode, no proximity chat, and no other improvements. If nothing else, could you at least fix this technical issue that's ruining the entire mode? (cm edit removed font)596Views7likes12CommentsBF6 / BFV BSOD – eaanticheat.sys crash (AV_eaanticheat)
Both Battlefield V and Battlefield 6 are crashing on my system with either BSOD or CTD. BF6 often fails during: *splash screen (“Starting EA Javelin AntiCheat”) *shader compilation *loading into match BFV is more stable but can also crash. Crash signature (consistent across many dumps): *MODULE_NAME: eaanticheat *IMAGE_NAME: eaanticheat.sys *FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: AV_eaanticheat!unknown_function *Bugcheck: 0x1E / 0xA (varies) System: *Intel i5-14600K *RTX 4070 SUPER *MSI Z790 GAMING PLUS WIFI *Windows 11 (fully updated) What I've tried: *reinstalled EA AntiCheat *reinstalled BFV and BF6 *multiple NVIDIA driver versions (clean installs) *cleared shader / DirectX caches *SFC / DISM checks *memory Integrity tested on/off *PCIe Link State Power Management changed *fresh Windows install previously done Other games are stable. Stress tests (CPU/GPU/RAM) passes. The issue is, as far as I am aware, only present in EA titles using Javelin AntiCheat (BFV/BF6). Is this "eaanticheat.sys" (AV_eaanticheat!unknown_function) crash a known issue affecting some Intel 13th/14th gen + Z790/B760 systems?Persistent Matchmaking and Squad Synchronisation Issues In Battlefield 6
I would like to report ongoing problems with matchmaking and squad functionality that are significantly affecting the experience. When playing with friends, the squad often fails to synchronise correctly. Although everyone is shown as being in the same party before matchmaking, once a match is found not all players load into the game together. In many cases: One or more squad members are left behind in the menu. A player is unexpectedly removed from the server or returned to the main screen. Some players load into the match while others remain stuck loading or are placed elsewhere. Squad members are separated, forcing us to leave and search again. The game appears to lose synchronisation between party members during the transition from matchmaking to the server. This issue occurs repeatedly and makes it difficult to enjoy the game as a group. Matchmaking itself also appears inconsistent, with problems such as empty or low-population servers, failed matchmaking attempts, and squads not staying together between matches. Expected behaviour: All members of a squad should reliably join the same server, load into the match together, and remain synchronised throughout the matchmaking process. Actual behaviour: Players are frequently desynchronised, with some failing to load in, being booted, or ending up separated from the rest of the squad. These problems have been persistent and have a major impact on the multiplayer experience. Please investigate and prioritise improvements to matchmaking stability and squad synchronisation.26Views1like1CommentI've veen getting bluescreens for 4 days
I've been playing Battlefield 6 since launch with no issue. My PC is a fairly new but well tested rig and I've never had such an issue with this game or any other until now. i7 14700k MSI RTX 5070 12 GB ventus 3x OC Gigabyte z790 aorus master Kingston Fury beast ddr5 5600 mhz 2x32 GB WD black sn850x nvme ssd 4TB BF6 bought through Steam and installed on an external F drive (WD black 8 TB HDD) For about a week, I had been having issues where out of nowhere during a match my PC would suddenly go blue and reebot. I initially thought it could be the heat (I live in Madrid, Spain and it does get quite hot) but even with AC blasting and keeping tabs on CPU and GPU heat I figured out it was actually the EA anticheat. I will be adamant and crystal clear. I use no cheats or exploits, no weird software or apps. Nothing. I have no changed any significant setting on my PC since launch either. I tried following the reccomended steps to troubleshoot this: repaired/reinstalled the anticheat, repaired and then eventually uninstalled and reinstalled the game (twice now), I scanned my PC for corrupt files (nothing came up), I checked the anti-virus to see there was an exception made for it, checked the BIOS to see it was set on UEFI and secure boot, my VPN is obviously off whenever I want to play BF6, I uninstalled the EA app altogether since I got the game on Steam. I am at my wit's end. I haven't been able to play since saturday. I've lost whole afternoons on this. I'm of course also missing the temporary gane mode, the daily rewards, the challenges... I've been playing Battlefield for 18 years. I had never gone through such pains. What the hell.PC Crashes to Desktop With No Error Message
Hi EA Support Team, I’m getting in touch because I’ve gone from having absolutely no issues since launch to the game suddenly crashing repeatedly over the past week. There’s no error code, no warning, and no pattern — it just drops to desktop without explanation. I’ve already tried a long list of recommended fixes from your forums and community posts, but unfortunately none of them have made any difference. What’s been more frustrating is how difficult it is to report the problem or find any clear, official guidance. The support pathways feel scattered, and it’s hard to know whether the issue is even being acknowledged. I appreciate that technical problems happen, but it’s disappointing when a company of EA’s size makes it so challenging for paying customers to get help. At the moment it feels like once the purchase is made, the responsibility shifts entirely onto the player to troubleshoot without proper support. Could you please advise on the next steps, or confirm whether this is a known issue currently being investigated? Any direct guidance or acknowledgement would be appreciated.
