BF6 Open Beta: Game Crashes PC After a Few Minutes - High GPU Usage
Hi all, I'm able to launch the game and get into a match, but after about 5 minutes, my entire computer crashes. While monitoring performance, i noticed that my GPU usage spikes from a typical 11% up to 98-99% During loading screens, usage drops into the 40% range, but once I'm in the game, it jumps back to 99% - and shortly after, my system crashes. I receive the (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL) error when this happens. For context: GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Drivers & Windows Fully up to date Secure Boot: Enabled Tried so far: Ran the game as Admin. Used sfc /scannow to check for corrupted files (none found) Just running out of ideas and wondering if anyone has come across the same issue so far this morning.Secure boot problem
Hi everyone, I was looking forward to play the BF6 Beta this weekend, but after enabling the secure boot mode in my MSI Bios, my computer get stuck in the windows blue screen "automatic repair" and than "unable to repair your PC" screen. I saw many other persons with this problem, all with B450 msi motherboard. What can i do to make my PC boot properly with the secure boot mode? So far i did : - BIOS in UEFI mode - Updated Bios to the latest driver - Checked that my System SSD was in GPT - Put my Bios security boot in "default secure boot keys" - Put Secure Boot mode on "standard" - Launched without other HDD or SSD or any PCIe/USB - Used the Powershell bootrec/fixboot, bootrec/scanos, bootrec/rebuildbcd command in windows repair screen - Switched ON and OFF the PCI subsystem settings - Above 4G Decoding / Re-size BAR Support - Factory reset my BIOS - Checked that TPM2.0 was activated and ready to use - Checked that my system support secure boot in msinfo32 - Updated every HDD and SSD firmware - Try changing PK Platform key settings I tryed everything but can't find any solution and also can't find the source of this issue. I have a B450 Gaming Plus Max motherboard / CPU AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / Windows 11 / GPU AMD Radeion RX 5700 XT / 2x8G Ram Tell me if you need any more information to help me out. Thank you !Information for developers (anti-cheat)
We ask developers who deal with anti-cheat to tell people that the Riva Tuner Statistic Server software, NZXT, Razer, HWinfo and etc is cheating software. That's why, I don't understand. Because the cheating software on my PC has never been and will never be. As far as I understand it, the developers don't care about the cries of the souls of those players who did not deserve to ban. Draw conclusions, gentlemen players. I ask all concerned players to like this post so that the developers open their eyes wider. Thanks in advance to all those who liked this post or did you also suffer from an unfair ban just like that or did you also suffer from an unfair ban just like that or did you also suffer from an unfair ban just like that. It is not clear how to contact the developers about challenging the ban. There is no information anywhere, and the tools provided in the personal account on the EA website do not work.Burnt up PC Parts.
Downloaded the Beta tried, to start and it crashed, it did all the steps required booted it up, went threw the waiting for a server my PC running a 40 series, 2 tb memory, and 64g DDR4 instantly shot up to jet engines speeds my ram maxed out and it crashed. With a Ramm error and after that random blue screens and crashed for three days on every game and screen, only to discover Two Ram Cards fried due to the load of your **bleep** beta. Never had a load over 50% before thats running DCS and Tarkov and trying to run your Beta maxed it out plus some and burnt up my cards so thanks. Reddit also has multiple post of this happening.MASSIVE ISSUE WITH SECURE BOOT!!!
On PC requires you to have secure boot enabled in bios. This bricked my PC till I was able to reset my bios. This needs to be changed to prevent this from happening to other people. This is unacceptable to require people to change their bios settings to play a game and risk destroying your PC.Beta Crash Logs
Battlefield 6 Beta Crash Report - Summary and Root Cause Analysis ================================================================= Prepared for: EA Support Date: 2025-08-11 System Specs: ------------- CPU: Intel Core i9-14900KF GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti (16GB) RAM: 32GB DDR5-5200MHz (XMP Profile 1) Monitor: 1440p, 320Hz OS: Windows 11 Home (Build 26100.1) Cooling: 360mm AIO PSU: 750W 80+ Gold Findings: --------- Two distinct crash signatures were identified during testing of the BF6 beta: 1. Crash to Desktop (CTD) - Faulting Module: bf6event.exe - Exception: SOFTWARE_NX_FAULT_INVALID_POINTER_EXECUTE_CODE_c0000005 - Context: Occurs in menu/settings screen. - Root Cause: Invalid pointer execution in bf6event.exe. Likely a bug in the game client. 2. Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) / Full System Restart - Faulting Module: eaanticheat.sys - Bugcheck Code: 0x3B STATUS_ILLEGAL_INSTRUCTION - Offset: eaanticheat+8d23fa - Root Cause: EA AntiCheat kernel driver executing an illegal CPU instruction, causing a system-level fault. Corroborating Evidence: ----------------------- - No hardware-related WHEA errors in Windows Event Viewer. - Crashes occur at stock hardware settings, with overlays and monitoring tools disabled. - Other games (including GPU-intensive titles) run stable under same conditions. - Multiple crash dumps from separate days point consistently to bf6event.exe and eaanticheat.sys. Conclusion: ----------- The crashes are not caused by the user's hardware or overclocking. They are due to: 1. Battlefield 6 beta client bug in bf6event.exe during menu navigation. 2. EA AntiCheat driver instability causing kernel-level crashes. Recommended Actions: -------------------- 1. Reinstall EA AntiCheat via C:\Program Files\EA\AC. 2. For BF6 only, run with: - Stock CPU/GPU clocks - Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling (HAGS) disabled - Overlays disabled (EA App, Discord, GeForce Experience) - Launch option: -dx11 - Frame Generation and DLSS disabled 3. Provide this report, crash dumps, and dxdiag.txt to EA for further investigation. Last night during a match, my PC decided to Black Screen crash and left everything unresponsive. My only solution was to force shutdown my PC and restart. Upon launching the game again, I was given this error code. I thought this would've been a simple fix with just repairing the anti-cheat files; man was I wrong. I spent probably 6 hours trying to troubleshoot and solve whatever was making the issue persist. I have tried: Uninstalling and re-installing a fresh Javelin anti-cheat Uninstalled and re-installed BF6 on both Steam and through the EA App Verified Files on both clients Updated my BIOS Made sure Secure Boot and everything was enabled Uninstalled every other anti-cheat software I had on my system (Easy, Battleye, ect) and even launched the game and installer for the anti-cheat in Administrator mode Nothing seems to be working and I'm absolutely clueless on what a solution could be.I keep crashing after a few minutes of gameplay
I can only play for about 10 minutes or so before the game crashes, till just immediately boot me to my desktop with no error message. I looked at my crash dumps to see what was going on, finding this error code. i would really appreciate it if someone could help me resolve this issue, been trying to fix this for days. OK, so all drivers etc. have been updated and secure boot confirmed to work. Game loads as expected and once I get to the splash screen where you press space to continue nothing happens. It's like the game doesn't recognise I have a keyboard connected. Game hasn't crashed (from what I can tell) and music plays. This is installed on PC with Windows 11. BF 2024 runs fine. Have confirmed early access from being registered with BF Labs. Task manager shows BF6 Open Beta using 3.5 - 4Mb memory and around 20% of CPU so it's doing something. Anyone else had this issue or can suggest a fix? I've gone through all the forums etc and tried run as admin, create new windows user, verify integrity, re-download/install game but nothing works. Thanks in advance for any assistance with this.Solved
