Game crashes; particularly crashing to desktop no error message
Here is my experience so far: Same results with both RTX 5080 and 9070 XT at 4K, high or ultra preset. DLSS/FSR enabled, performance preset. Here were my experiences with various configurations: stable = 7700X, 4 x 16GB of DDR5 RAM, EXPO disabled (currently running) unstable = 7700X, 4 x 16GB of DDR5 RAM, EXPO enabled (this was stable, but unstable now I think because of a recent motherboard BIOS update) Did not test 7700X, 2 x 16GB. Assumed this would be stable based on above results. (very) unstable = 7800X3D, 4 x 16GB of DDR5 RAM, EXPO enabled or disabled stable = 7800X3D, 2 x 16 GB DDR5 RAM, EXPO enabled or disabled There could be other issues that might cause instability such as bad drives, OS related issues, drivers, etc. but the above assumes all hardware is "good" but may not be 100 % stable if used in certain combinations. Hope this helps some of you or points you in the right direction.16Views0likes0CommentsERROR CODE 0:85009S - Kicked after 5 mins (I've tried literally EVERYTHING)
Hey everyone, I am reaching out here because I am completely at my wit's end with Error Code 0:85009S. I recently did a fresh reinstall of Windows, and ever since then, I cannot stay in a match for more than 5 minutes before getting kicked. It is absolutely outrageous and is making it impossible to play with my friends. I want to be clear that I have already tried everything usually suggested for network and anti-cheat issues. Here is the list of troubleshooting steps I have already gone through, none of which worked: Switched to Google DNS and Cloudflare DNS Completely disabled IPv6 Reset and reinstalled all drivers Hard reset my router Verified the game cache and local files Repaired the EA Anti-Cheat (EA AC) Nothing is working. The game just boots me out after 5 minutes, almost on the dot. Has anyone actually found a working fix for this specific error code? I am out of ideas and just want to play the game. Thanks in advance.107Views1like6CommentsDXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED or DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG
In my experience, turning off overclock is preventing crashes. This does not fix everyone's issue. I can only play for a couple minutes, and I get this error message. Direct function "m_submitFencePlat->GetCompletedValue" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED ("The video card has been physically removed from the system, or a driver upgrade for the video card has occurred. "). GPU: "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti", Driver: 58142. D: \dev\TnT\Code\Packages\RenderCore2\RenderCore2\dev\sourc e\platform\Dx12\SubmissionManagerDx12.cpp. This error is usually caused by the graphics driver crashing; try installing the latest drivers.DeviceRemovedReason: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG ("The GPU will not respond to more commands"). Since the Nightfall update on March 17, I've have been having major issues connecting to servers. On the day of the update when trying to connect, I was greeted with an Error message that contained a code and QR and just read "An unidentified error occurred". When I closed it out it went to connect to a server again and again got the error message. After restarting the game it finally was able to connect and let me play. Fast forward to today, the next day March 18, I was once again greeted by the Error message when trying to connect to the server. Unlike last time restarting the game and my console failed to resolve the issue and I am unable to play. The Error Code is 0:89001S:7C-13561655840 Platform: Xbox Series X
