Dead Space 3 - Help Steam Achievements
Hello EA Support, I'm contacting you regarding Dead Space 3 on Steam. Since an update released in 2023, several Steam achievements appear to have become unobtainable due to changes affecting the game's online functionality. As a result, it is currently impossible for players to complete the game 100%. The achievements affected are: - Aren't You Thankful? - Supercharger - Survivalist - Pure Lunacy Could you please investigate this issue? If restoring the required functionality is no longer possible, I would appreciate it if these achievements could be updated or removed from the Steam achievement list so that completion remains achievable. What purpose does the forum or any "support" entity of EA even serve? In the information age, you cant get prompt responses on game-specific forums here, and of all the threads I have read in this area, the community managers basically say "there is nothing we can do." Why even run the things if you are either hamstrung into being unable to do anything, or are fundamentally unwilling to provide any help? Hello EA, I’d like to report an ongoing issue with several achievements in Dead Space 3: Survivalist, Aren’t You Thankful?, Pure Lunacy (DLC), and Supercharger (DLC). These appear to be unobtainable under normal conditions. This has been affecting players for quite some time now, and it prevents completionists from achieving 100% in the game. It would be great to get some clarification on whether a fix is planned. If fixing them isn’t possible, please consider removing these achievements, as was previously done with Brave New World. Broken achievements
Hey EA, It’s really frustrating that 4 achievements in Dead Space 3 are currently impossible to unlock: Survivalist, Aren’t You Thankful?, Pure Lunacy (DLC), and Supercharger (DLC). It feels like we’re being punished for playing your game properly. Please either fix these achievements so they can actually be earned, or just remove them. Leaving them broken like this is unfair and only hurts the player community. We’ve been enjoying your games for years, but stuff like this makes it feel like you don’t care about the players. I have a microsoft surface book 2 I am trying to launch Dead Space 3 on but am receiving an error "This game will not run in a virtual environment". Most surface devices you are not able to disable virtualization extensions. I am confused though because I also have a desktop running with vt-d enabled and it launches the game just fine. I've gone through a gauntlet of items turning windows features on and off trying to figure out how to get past this error but to no avail. Am I missing something about Microsoft surface devices that causes them to get flagged in error?
