questions regarding a slur in the sims 1 and 2
hello, this post is more aimed at the actual sims team, but i want to confirm something as you have started reselling the sims 1 and 2 for modern devices. In both of these games, they have the g word ( a word used against roma people). Has this been removed from the games before them being republished?255Views0likes6CommentsSims 1 legacy edition- Why does it do this? Not rendering anything
I can make a sim fine but when I move in the house isn’t there I hover my mouse and objects appear but disappear after. I’ve tried doing what ea support have suggested like clearing cache and what others have suggested such as downloading new graphics driver. I don’t know what else to do and I’m so disappointed I was so excited to play.Solved216Views0likes9CommentsMake UKEnglish version of The Sims 1 legacy to use 24H clock
(Post is about The Sims 1) Maybe I'm just too old and remember it wrong, but as far as I remember, in The Sims 2, the USEnglish uses 12H clock and UKEnglish 24H clock. Right now there are 2 absolutely identical game locales in The Sims 1 Legacy with the same text and almost no differences (except Vacation being called On Holiday in some places), and both US and UK English use 12H clock. It would be nice if UKEnglish would use 24H clock instead of the 12. Yes, in UK there are 2 systems officially used, 24 and 12, but this way you could allow the people who want to play in English and use 24H clock a convenient option to change language to UKEnglish. Who want still use 12H clock could change the lang to USEnglish and vice-versa. There is a HUGE AMOUNT of players for which English is not a native language and they have no localized version for their language, so they play in English. But the 12-hour system may be very inconvenient for the foreigners. I personally speak English very well, but I would be happy to play the game in English but with the 24H clock. Adding it to UKEnglish would be a best way to use it. As alternative there would be implemented a new game option to use 24 or 12-hour clock system. Also, the more convenient option to change game language in-game would be great.102Views0likes3CommentsGame for aspiring architects
I played Sims 2 Deluxe from the age of eight, when I got it as a Christmas present from my "cool" aunt & uncle. But my favorite part of the game was actually building the houses. EA did a great job with having different terrains, levels, angles, 2D/3D view, rooflines, scaling, leaving space etc. I would love it if EA launched a game where kids ( and adults) can use these building/planning houses that are not as complicated or expensive as the real software architects use. Please EA, release an app ( hopefully free) where we can bring our housebuilding and landscaping dreams to reality.31Views0likes1CommentA petition for a proper TS1 download section on MTS!
Hey official forums, long time no see! I promise I won’t take up too much of your time but my friends and I have a quick favor to ask: Mod the Sims has recently added a quick link to their The Sims 1 discussion and creation forums on their homepage. While that is a great convenience, we think it would be much better to have a proper section dedicated to easily browsing downloading player creations the way The Sims 2, The Sims 3 and The Sims 4 have always been for on MTS. As a major hub of player made custom content and mods it would be a big step in helping to preserve TS1’s legacy for veteran and new players alike. If you’d like to help please sign below! Thanks! https://www.change.org/p/fully-functional-ts1-section-on-mts?source_location=psf_petitions80Views2likes2Comments
