NHL 27 Update - September 17, 2026
The next #NHL27 Update goes live tomorrow, Thursday, September 17 at 1 PM ET. Server downtime is expected for up to one hour following deployment, so please complete any online games ahead of this time. Alongside the update, a new gameplay tuner will increase the interference hit window from 0.6 seconds to 1.2 seconds based on player feedback following last Thursday’s tuning. This adjustment should provide a better middle ground while still keeping the window tighter than the previous 2-second setting. Here are the full details: World of CHEL Fixed an issue where a user would not be able to advance into EASHL Practice Mode Fixed an issue where a user would rarely crash before getting to the World of CHEL hub Addressed an issue where a user would rarely crash when navigating World of CHEL menus Online Versus Changes made to lineups and strategies will now carry over to the next game Game Modes Fixed a crash in the Player Movement screen when viewing player info349Views2likes18CommentsHits are causing Interference
… and the penalties are justified. I am sorry but these hits are indeed illegal and interference. While NHL doesn’t have specific rules regarding late hits and the length of time, Hockey Canada has something that addresses what a late hit is and I imagine it’s really similar or close to the NHLs rules. specifically the late hit part says you have to be within an arm and stick lengths away when the carrier releases the puck for the hit to be legal. I don’t doubt there are the one offs that are not fair but bad calls are made sometimes and I would much rather this than the prior. Skaters in game do not have the tools to brace for or reverse an oncoming check when they don’t have the puck. This will need a bit of an adjustment period but will make the game more competitive and fair.498Views8likes36CommentsAlternate jerseys not loading
Every time playing road to the cfp when we choose an alternate jersey in which we grinded numerous hours for it never loads always resulting in the home Jersey or the away jersey I realize that this has been brought to EA's attention but how come nothing is being done this is been an ongoing issue since day one of the game launch is it ever going to be corrected and if so whenGameplay Feedback & Suggested Improvements
I would like to share several gameplay suggestions that I believe could improve the overall experience, reduce unnecessary frustration, and make infantry combat feel more consistent and rewarding. 1. Skipping Revive Should Not Reduce Class Passive XP When a player is downed, quickly skipping the revive or death screen should not reduce or negatively affect the passive XP progression of their current class. Class progression should primarily reward active gameplay, such as healing, reviving, supplying teammates, spotting, capturing objectives, and dealing damage. Whether a player chooses to wait for a revive or return to the battlefield should not punish them by reducing passive class progression. Players should be free to make a quick decision based on the situation without feeling that they are losing progression simply because they skipped the revive process. 2. Increase the Revive/Respawn Time to Reduce Excessive Combat Pressure The current revive timing can make infantry combat feel unnecessarily high-pressure. For example, you may eliminate several enemies, survive the engagement, and still be recovering your health or repositioning when those same enemies are already back on the battlefield. This can make successful eliminations feel less rewarding and reduce the tactical value of winning an engagement. A slightly longer revive or redeploy window would create more meaningful consequences for losing a gunfight. It would also give surviving players more time to recover, reload, reposition, and actually capitalize on their advantage. Battlefield should reward winning engagements rather than constantly resetting the fight a few seconds later. 3. Add a Custom Reticle Opacity/Transparency Setting Please consider adding an option that allows players to manually adjust the opacity/transparency of their aiming reticle. Different players have different preferences and visual requirements. A reticle that is highly visible in one environment may become distracting or obscure targets in another. Allowing players to adjust reticle transparency would provide a simple but useful customization option without affecting gameplay balance. Ideally, this could be implemented as a slider, allowing players to choose the exact visibility level they prefer. 4. The Current 1x Optic Reticles Are Too Small After the Latest Update After the latest update, the reticles on several 1x optics appear noticeably smaller than before. For close-range infantry combat, this can make the aiming point harder to identify quickly, especially during fast movement, intense firefights, or when the background contains a lot of visual clutter. The purpose of a 1x optic is to provide a clear and fast aiming reference. A reticle that is too small can have the opposite effect and make target acquisition feel less consistent. Please consider either increasing the default size of the 1x reticles or, ideally, introducing an option that allows players to adjust reticle size themselves. --- These changes would not fundamentally alter the core gameplay. They would mainly improve quality of life, visual clarity, and the overall flow of infantry combat. Small improvements to these systems could make firefights feel more responsive, rewarding, and less frustrating while still preserving the fast-paced nature of Battlefield. Can't load into any UT gamemodes

Hello EA, I’m a returning FC player and I have a question regarding the Loyalty / Returning Player Pack in FC 27. My Ultimate Team Club, Billy FC, was created in September 2025, and I actively played FC 26 on the same EA/PlayStation account. After accessing FC 27, I noticed that I did not receive the Loyalty / Returning Player Pack that other returning FC 26 players are reporting receiving. I would like to understand how eligibility for this reward works. Could you please clarify: What are the exact eligibility requirements for the FC 27 Loyalty / Returning Player Pack? Does having an existing FC 26 Ultimate Team Club qualify a player for this reward? Does the amount of time played or activity in FC 26 affect eligibility? Is the reward automatically granted when entering FC 27 Ultimate Team, or can it be delayed? Could Transfer Market eligibility or another account-status issue prevent the Loyalty Pack from being granted? If an eligible returning player did not receive the pack, is there a way to have the account checked? I’m asking because my account clearly has an existing FC 26 Club, and I would like to understand whether the missing Loyalty Pack is expected or whether there may be an issue with my account's eligibility. Thank you.418Views4likes80CommentsBring back 2v2 or 3v3 mode With Real Rosters
Hi EA Madden team, I know you might not even read this, but I'm writing it anyway because this matters to us. I've pre-ordered Madden every year for the last 12 years, and my first Madden was 2002. My friend and I pre-ordered Madden 27 as well, so this isn't a complaint from someone on the fence. We're the players who show up every August. Removing Superstar KO took away the only way to play 2v2 or 3v3 with real teams and real rosters. That mode is why my friend and I played together. There is no replacement for it in Madden 27, and judging by the reaction on Reddit and elsewhere, we're far from the only duo who feels this way. KO had a large, loyal community built up over years. What we're asking for: 1. A competitive 2v2 mode (3v3 as well, ideally) using real NFL teams and current rosters. This is the core ask. Even 2v2 alone would bring a lot of us back to playing together. 2. Record tracking for duos and trios. Win/loss records tied to your squad would give the mode real stakes and staying power. This part is a bonus, but it's the kind of feature that keeps people queuing all year. We understand modes get cycled out. But this one was the only co-op experience with authentic rosters, and cutting it left a hole nothing else in the game fills. Please bring it back, or build something new that lets friends team up with real teams. Thanks for reading, if you made it this far. We want to keep supporting this game for another 12 years. Sincerely, Madden player since 20024.1KViews122likes170Comments
