A discussion about PvZ 3's level design and how it could be improved
One of the most important aspects to get right in a PvZ game are the levels. Without good and varied levels, it is hard to enjoy the gameplay itself to its fullest and renders the experience stale, and that leaves a lot of missed potential that could easily be exploited for the most part. As of right now, PvZ 3 has to my eyes a few critical flaws in its level design: Lack of variation / Repetition: Many levels feel oddly similar to one another in their layouts; there lacks minigames / special objectives in between regular levels as well, similar to what is seen in PvZ 1 and 2 Poor usage of special zombies: There are sometimes multiple levels in a row that have the same or at least very similar roster of zombies; there is usually only between 1-2 specials per level that tend to get used way too sparingly. Some specials also feel like they get introduced at the wrong world/time, as they don't really synergize with the gimmicks presented at the time. Unsatisfying wave progression: Due to the wave progression being purely time-based, it sometimes leads to awkward moments in the middle of the level where the player has to wait for multiple seconds for new zombies to show up. The "huge waves" of zombies also feel in general too small and unremarkable, which makes them lose a lot on their "impact". With the flaws already discussed, here I'll share some ideas on how to fix most of those: A good way to keep the gameplay fresh is to add minigame levels with interesting gimmicks to work as a sort of "break" from the rest of the game. Some minigames that were already shown on previous PvZ 3 versions would work great here, such as Vasebreaker or Solar Storm. Additionally, you could also add level objectives like the ones seen in PvZ 2. Beating the level with the given plants, not letting the zombies trample the flowers, producing X amount of sun and planning your defenses to defeat the zombies were part of my personal favorites and they genuinely have a lot of potential to shine in PvZ 3 as well. Every level should have a different layout instead of it being picked randomly. It is very important to make each level different from the last. This would also allow to use the level gimmicks already present in the game in a far more creative and interesting way. Special zombies should be used and combined with each other more frequently to create interenting synergies and challenges to the player. Sometimes there could even be 3-5 special zombies on the same level for a more chaotic experience! The wave progression in the levels should work more similarly to the previous titles in the franchise: if the health of the current zombie wave drops below 50%, the game automatically spawns the next wave. That way, the "awkward moments" are avoided entirely. Additionally, the "huge waves" of zombies could wait until all zombies from the previous wave die before spawning to create a short yet impactful moment of tension knowing what lies ahead. The huge waves of zombies should be made more intimidating by making them spawn way more enemies than what they do currently. I hope this helps the developers to make the levels in PvZ 3 as enjoyable and fun as they can be!Dont think yall are even trying anymore EA!
Yall drop new **bleep** and its all ready messed up even more then the game was before yall dropped the new update. Your devs are not playing the crap they drop its obvious. You have lost 50% of your previous player base but decide to drop new modes but we cant even find matches of old modes because theres not enough players. Your game is super flawed. This is really annoying. I bought BF4 during the spring sale, but ever since I started playing, the screen freezes mid-game, or it freezes right after one game ends and the next one starts, or sometimes after about 12 minutes when joining a server. The worst part is that it doesn't save any of my progress, leveling up, or unlocked accessories. I've looked for solutions everywhere. - I've already updated my Nvidia GPU drivers, reinstalled and added the game to PunkBuster, deleted the Battlefield 4 folder in Documents, repaired the game and all its add-ons, and completely reinstalled the game and add-ons. I've enabled administrator privileges, disabled all available overlays from the EA app and MSI Afterburner (although I tried without using MSI Afterburner and it still freezes), tried launching the game in a browser and in the game itself, and it freezes sooner or later in both. I've also enabled Windows Firewall and used Windows repair commands like sfc. I've tried running `/scannown` or `DISM` and nothing works. It's gotten so bad that I'm thinking of quitting this game altogether. I've never had a similar error in any other game. I have Battlefield 3 and it works perfectly. Anyway, if anyone has a solution, I'd be eternally grateful. 🙏 Edit: In case you're wondering, it's not overheating and the FPS is very low, and the problem persists.Feedback and Suggestions for Battlefield 6
Hello to the dev team and the community! After spending several hours on Battlefield 6, I wanted to share some feedback and suggestions that I believe could make the overall experience even better. 1. Map Size, I find that the current maps are a bit too small. Fights often feel too confined and lack the strategic depth that made previous Battlefield titles so great. Larger maps would allow better vehicle usage and bring back that epic large-scale battle feeling the series is known for. 2. New and Classic Maps, While new maps are always welcome, it would also be amazing to see the return of some classic maps from older Battlefield games — such as Operation Metro or Laguna Presa. These iconic maps hold a lot of nostalgia for players and would add great variety to the current rotation. 3. New and Iconic Weapons, Adding new weapons would help refresh gameplay, but I’d also love to see the return of classic iconic weapons like the M1 Garand, M16A4, AS VAL, M98B, MP5K, F2000, L96A1, or XM8. These weapons were an important part of Battlefield’s identity and would be a welcome comeback for longtime fans. 4. Conquest System and Ribbons, Bringing back flag icons within conquest zones, as in older titles, would improve visibility and immersion during battles. Also, bringing back ribbons (earned for in-game actions) would be a great way to reward players for their specific playstyles and contributions to the team. 5. New Squads and Faction Variety, It would be great to add new squads within the factions, each with unique appearances, accents, and equipment. This could also be a perfect opportunity to bring back old class skins from previous Battlefield games, which added extra personality and variety to the soldiers. Overall, Battlefield 6 has a lot of potential, and with a few tweaks like these, it could feel even more authentic to the Battlefield spirit. Hi, I’m having ongoing issues with Ultimate Team on PS5 in EA Sports FC 26. Main problems: Ultimate Team menus frequently freeze (e.g. “Updating Store”, “Checking Squads”) Green loading icon spins indefinitely Sometimes get kicked out of Ultimate Team with connection errors Important details: Gameplay is completely fine (around 8 ms ping, no lag in matches) Companion App and Web App work perfectly with no issues Problem only affects FUT menus on console Internet speed is very high (800+ Mbps) NAT Type 2 Key observation: When I connect my PS5 to a mobile hotspot, Ultimate Team loads instantly and works perfectly When I switch back to my home broadband (Sky), the issue returns What I’ve already tried: Reinstalling the game Rebuilding PS5 database Restarting router (including long power-off) Changing DNS settings Testing MTU Using both Ethernet and Wi-Fi Logging out/in of EA account Clearing saved data Conclusion: This appears to be a routing issue between Sky Broadband and EA servers affecting FUT content (menus/store), while gameplay servers work normally. Another month another update. I think this is the month we get a new memory update to make the game run faster. As usual expect many fixes. I'm hoping the autonomous romance bug is fixed. I have been discussing an issue with an EA advisor regarding the current TOTW pack issue and he has confirmed more than once that your pack luck is increased based on the server/region you're playing in. I find this baffling because I have friends who have some of the most incredible luck and I get shafted. My new favourite person Richik has now confirmed that my luck is based on the region and server which means that if you're on the wrong server or in the wrong region you're getting scammed. I have attached the conversation. Personally find this is wild for someone who works for EA to admitPlease fix the rival promotion system properly.
No matter how much I participate, to get R9 Ronaldo, these people are so cold-hearted that they tell me to win a total of 10 matches in UT Champions, which is impossible to achieve... Since it seems like I can play 15 matches x 2 in UT Champions... If I were to play everyone without a rank, my skill level is 0-1 win out of 10 games, so my brain cells would have been dying over those 26 matches. (Thank goodness I didn't even try!) But why is the rival promotion system like this?? Why do you keep trying to keep me stuck in a rank where I only win 1-2 out of 10 games?? (Division 7) I don't care if I'm a hardcore player, an auto-defense user, or a program scammer. Since it seems like you EA can't fix this anyway... You need to make it hard to climb back up so that players drop quickly from the rank where they win 1 or 2 out of 10 games. Either I know exactly where the opponent will move (it feels like playing against AI), Or the opposing players are always fast even if their stats are low, And I don't know what the settings are, but they're man-to-man intercepting everything even during offense, so as soon as I win the ball, there's nowhere to pass it to and it gets intercepted again... I don't need to know all that; I just want to enjoy the game. I wish it were a system where I could stay in a decent rank, winning about 3 or 4 out of 10 games. Being stuck in a rank where I barely win a game makes me feel like I want to die.
