Update on codes
Hey, everyone. I know there are some of wondering where your code is. We've been sending them out in waves. Another will go out tomorrow, Wednesday and the last wave will go out Friday. So, if you haven't gotten it yet, most likely you'll get it tomorrow or Friday. Be sure to check all your folders. Spam, junk, promotions, etc. Also, it would be good to make sure you're registered on the right account. You can check this at playtesting.ea.com.
Dumbfounded that online franchise is back when there is so much needing fixed
I just don't even know where to start. I said years ago, like 5-6+ years ago, when I was extremely active on these forums trying to give legitimate, positive, and constructive suggestions and feedback, that bringing back online franchise would be an awful idea with all the current issues that has plagued franchise mode for what has seemed like an eternity. Here we are years later and, not to toot my own horn, but it looks like I was spot on. Still don't have generated prospects that receive certain line preference combos Still don't have proper CBA rules, such as proper roster slots during pre-season and after the trade deadline (it's 50 btw, not 23) Player customization is still grayed out (basically all customization is grayed out) Penalties are still broken, haven't seen CPU opponents take any penalties other than holding or interference, ie 0 stick infractions Trade deadline mechanics are inherently broken and underwhelming Line combination settings constantly reset without warning Strategies, coaches, preferences that whole system is totally broken I mean dear lord I could go on forever, this is barely the tip of the iceberg. And now, without fixing any of the glaringly obvious issues that has plagued this mode for almost 15 years, they decided to release a completely half-baked...actually 1/4 baked connected franchise mode that is going to die before it totally arrives. I honestly feel like EA purposefully made it so incomplete so they have an excuse to say "See, no-one plays it!" and then pull it from the game again. Haven't purchased this game for almost a decade, and EA is only justifying my decision to stop giving them money. Which is an absolute bummer because hockey is my favorite sport and I used to love playing this series, but I just can't bring myself to spend money on a game that has 0 effort dedicated to making it. EA_Aljo I know that we've all been made aware that GMC will not have player development which is a tough hit to the mode because we could see guys bailing due to having terrible teams with very few options to get out of the bottom (unless someone gifts you a trade) or if your GMC league does a fantasy draft. My question is could we potentially have the ability to add new rosters or do roster updates after each season? This isn't ideal but it would allow GMC leagues to edit the draft classes or input their own way of development in the league via edited player rosters...it would also be cool to be able to add historic draft classes, future draft classes, etc. Anyway just wanted to ask as i thought this would make for a decent work around since player development will not be in NHL 27. If EA has decided to change this please ignore this discussion thread. Thanks Shizz/Shugg
please bring back the way sets were in the past
one thing i like to see ea bring back is the bronze, silver or gold sets for miscellaneous cards! i hope there is still time for this years game? when it comes to sets, please have and option for older collectables that you have missed that you can put in a set and get something for? like a miscellaneous set so you can at least get some kind of pack, a mini pack or one player pack or coins even, something at least? also when it comes to arena, jersey, logo's goalie masks and captains cards let us get something more then just another of the same card that we cannot even auction? please bring back the old sets so we can get some kind of player or pack, bring back the bronze, silver or gold packs depending how many cards you had for the sets that was way better then the way ea has it set up now its not fun or exciting when you have all these cards you worked hard getting and cannot even use i know ea wants us to spend money on packs but they need to change it back to the way they use to have it! make every card you earn be worth something even if we missed the deadline!Why
Okay so nowadays you can line a NPC for a hit and bounce off. Why I don’t know? In the other side you are flying down a wing your speed is faster than the defender is skating backwards and as they move to hit you, you think no I should be able to sneak by just like the NPC do to you. Does that happen no they somehow get just a peice of you and there goes the puck. Can you recover the puck? No not usually because you got hit you stagger the NPC recovers the puck. The other scenario is somehow they get a huge hit and you lose 40 points of durability. So my question is why does the BAP not get the same benefits as a regular NPC player( yes they are actually NHL players) but the BAP is also.NHL 26 - the worst version of the game ever!!!
Developers, do you care about players at all? Stop thinking about how to make more money. Players leave this game en masse, e-sportsmen get bored, because the game has turned into the same type of matches. Make new mechanics, work on the gameplay, don't try to earn all the money in this world! Your studios are already closing one by one. Soon the one that does the NHL will close, because there will be no players. It's a pity that you brought the game to the point that no one wants to play it. Please quit It's a pity that I spent money on this garbage, I won't repeat such a mistake again
