[UPDATE] EA app Friends List, Invites, Cross-Play — What's Going On
Hi all, For last few weeks, the right side of the EA app is in indefinite loading screen. My profile pic, status and friend list are a part of this infinite loading screen, PFA. Because of this, in game friends who are online don't show up as well as I don't show as Online for my friends. I have no issue playing the game but I am no longer able to play with my friends. Tried the following but nothing helped: App uninstall and re-install. Delete reg edit entries, clear local data after EA uninstall and reinstall. Delete Apex legends and EA app, delete all involved folders, local data, reg edit entries and reinstall. Restart router. Also tried installing EA app in D: drive(custom location) but it keeps installing in C: drive. Not sure if this helps though.
Restore ability to hide games in library
Since you just closed 4 year old topic suggesting restoring basic functionality (that was present in origin) here I am to create new one. Please restore ability to hide games or remove them from account. This is very important for games that are demos, betas or no longer available Why do I have to watch Bejeweled 3 every time I want to find battlefield in my library? Why do I have to watch ea sports madden nfl just because I clicked on wrong tile while I had EA Play and it was instantly added to my account? I cannot even play it, it requires me to purchase subscription again (tile is grayed out) so I really have no idea why is it even visible in my library... I want to hide all these ugly mistakes and keep my library clean. It would be plus if I could add tags or group games into custom groups but just this basic functionality of hiding games and optionally removing them from account would be great.
EA APP WON'T DOWNLOAD
I clicked on the EA APP and a pop up appears that said "DOWNLOADING", after a few seconds it gave me an error and so on. After playing around with deleting cache and flushing dns, I decided to uninstall the app. I'm trying to reinstall it by going into the ea website but every time I press download app, windows download... it gives me this message "origin-a.akamaihd.net took too long to respond.". I tried playing around with the permissions, disabling my security, and even tried downloading it from an alternative site which when I thought could work but then it kept on giving me a different download error... Has anyone had this issue before? check out the attachment below.
Unable to load Inbox via EA Connect while in game
I have been using Origin , back in 2017, until EA App now and never faced any issues in inbox or quick messages Past the 3 Months I have this issue where everytime i try to send a Quick Message I get an error saying COULD NOT SEND MESASGE. TRY AGAIN LATER. And when I switch to Inbox it shows an error as shown in the screenshot Any solution?
Screw your "EA App Needs To Restart" while playing
Seriously, what MONKEYS work on design and coding of this thing? If I started EA App that's because I want to PLAY A GAME. If I am playing a game I DON'T WANT TO STOP JUST SO YOUR APP CAN RESTART. If you need to check for updates DO IT BEFORE OPENING IT AND UPDATE IT BEFORE LAUNCH LIKE STEAM DOES FOR AT LEAST A DECADE. SHEESH.
EA not counting Sims 4 hours.
so my EA app isn't counting my Sims 4 hours. it's been stuck on 9554hours and 41min for days now and I've played countless hours by now. Also every time i open the EA app it puts my hours down to 78hours but i can fix that by signing out and then in again, but still super frustrating to constantly have to do. I've already tried clearing cache. Another mention is i do own the game on Steam but i have all my packs on EA, and I've owned sims on EA before i owned it on steam.
EA App not launching games
So I've been wanting to play NFS Hot Pursuit for the past couple of days without any success. Whenever I try to launch the game the screen goes black for a couple of seconds and then the game crashes nd after the app shows a prompt saying someting about an EA App error and to try later but no specification of what error it was. Sometimes the game manages to boot but it goes like "fullscreen" (?) on my monitor and my laptop screen, using both of them and resizing the game window. I'd appreciate if someone would tell me what is going on, I just wanna play my game :(
