Screw your "EA App Needs To Restart" while playing
Seriously, what MONKEYS work on design and coding of this thing? If I started EA App that's because I want to PLAY A GAME. If I am playing a game I DON'T WANT TO STOP JUST SO YOUR APP CAN RESTART. If you need to check for updates DO IT BEFORE OPENING IT AND UPDATE IT BEFORE LAUNCH LIKE STEAM DOES FOR AT LEAST A DECADE. SHEESH.
Why do I need yet another app to install more apps? No longer buying your games.
Why do I need yet another app to install more apps and another account to install the installer to activate the installer for a game. So sick of having to have an account and app for every fooking thing. Get your business in order and realize people don't want the bloat. We want streamlined service. I'm not buying anymore of your games until this goes away.
About to uninstall this garbage - can't disable start on bootup
For weeks now. Every single day the launcher starts up on bootup, quietly. And in the middle of the day randomly pops up with an update about a sale! I disable the "launch on startup" option. I close the app. I open the app back up. It's toggled on. I toggle it off. The next day, it pops back up in the middle of the day. Your storefront/launcher is bad and everyone who works on it should feel bad. I'm about to uninstall the last game I don't even really play just to get rid of this garbage piece of software. It's incredible how a company with so much money can't even have a basic, functional storefront/launcher in the year of our lord 2026. I guess things that were capable decades ago are just out of reach for today's companies.
'Failed to Launch Game: An Error on Our End' for Multiple Games. Any Fixes?
I read all the forum messages about this issue from 3 years ago and tried all their solutions. I sent in a ticket to EA Games. I cleared the cache, restarted everything, went into the EA Games folder in my program files, tried running as administrator, tried everything else people mentioned. I forced a game update, an app update, and all produced no results. What is the point of having a game you can't open? I never had this problem before the app. Yes, my new laptop meets and exceeds all requirements. Running Windows 11. What else can I do? And if the error is on EA Games end, why can't they fix it? EA "app" sometimes glitches with the Sim 4 home page.
Hi, I wasn't sure to post this here or in the Sims 4 section, but I've notice recently the home page of the Sims 4 game become glitched and pixelated, I've taken a snip of what's happening. It doesn't happen straight away but it is noticeable when it does happen.
[UPDATE] EA app Friends List, Invites, Cross-Play — What's Going On
Hi all, For last few weeks, the right side of the EA app is in indefinite loading screen. My profile pic, status and friend list are a part of this infinite loading screen, PFA. Because of this, in game friends who are online don't show up as well as I don't show as Online for my friends. I have no issue playing the game but I am no longer able to play with my friends. Tried the following but nothing helped: App uninstall and re-install. Delete reg edit entries, clear local data after EA uninstall and reinstall. Delete Apex legends and EA app, delete all involved folders, local data, reg edit entries and reinstall. Restart router. Also tried installing EA app in D: drive(custom location) but it keeps installing in C: drive. Not sure if this helps though.i can't connect my ea account with my xbox account
