EA app on MAC showing recently purchased Sims 3 add-ons as unavailable...
I've recently purchased 3 add-ons for the Sims 3 to play on my MAC and even though it shows on the EA app that I have purchased them, it says that they're only available on Windows. Why would they be available to purchase in the EA app on MAC if they're only available to play on Windows? All of my previous add-ons are fine, it's just the 3 latest ones that I've bought in the last 3 weeks.30Views0likes2CommentsDo EA app issues ever get resolved?
I have to admit I've been using the EA app for less than a year. I posted about the EA app internet connection and download issue nearly 3 weeks ago and haven't heard back. I just see more and more people raising the same issue, and also receiving no help. Is this normal?"App not starting" issue
Outsourcing help to a user forum is awful and doesn't actually solve any issues. I'm having the "App not starting" issue. Yes i've reinstalled, yes with and without the REVO uninstaller. Yes i've restarted my PC. I've done all the typical things anyone would go through when doing basic troubleshooting. This is clearly a bigger problem and we need a proper support team to help actually fix the problem. This forum is useless, the answers are useless. If we can't actually fix the problem I would like a refund for all games I have. I can't access them anyway why should you have my money? I was playing Fc 25 normally, until last week EA forced me to update EA app. I did everything, even re install my windows. and still get this error: An error on our end, caused to launch fail Even I checked EA app logs and checked with ChatGPT, It seems, the EA couldn't connect with steam. Can't buy KIT for The Sims 4 EA error (ref. #54005)
I'll start by saying that I've already followed all the steps recommended in this post by EA_Solaire. A prepaid credit card is linked to my Paypal account, which I've always used for purchases in the EA app. However, since last Friday it has inexplicably stopped working and keeps giving me an error. I waited until today, which is Monday, to see if the situation would be resolved, but no luck. I'd even opened a chat with EA Help, but all I got was automatic replies that didn't resolve the problem and then the case was closed with the words Fixed, which didn't happen. I just want to be able to purchase your games, but if you don't allow it because there are technical problems on your end, it's just your loss. And before you ask, there are enough funds, a KIT is €4.99, and on the prepaid credit card there is €20.Why is this app still a pile of steaming sh !t?
Open app. Please enter 2fa code. Game missing. Close app (menu-exit) Open app. Enter username/email. Enter password. Enter 2fa. Game now reappeared. And this while I have 'Remember This Device' ticked. Isn't this supposed to be a multi billion dollar company? (And this is not the first time this has happened)An error on our end cause the game failed to launch.
This error has been around for more than a week and it really gets me frustrated. I tried every methods in every articles or forums I found but nothing helps. What do I supposed to do now, I really lost. Perhaps this will be my last product I bought from EA. Can even get to play the game you paid by your own money :/14Views0likes0CommentsEA App tries to charce more than once
So today (about 4 or 5 pm witch was aftonoon here at that moment, I'm from finland) I bought two kits (the latest ones) with the EA app and it tried to charge the same purchase twice. But because someone else had said about it in the EA The Sims discord discussion and another gave advice that I tried, no other payment went through than what was supposed to. So the instruction was to turn off the EA app and restart it. That is, turn it off, not log out. And it worked. So this kind of bug has really settled in there, so if you could kindly check if it is still there and then fix it, since it is causing inconvenience not only to the players but also to you for sure. And the sooner you fix it, the less problems you will have.
