Sims 4 keeps freezing after latest Windows Update
I just recently got the newest Windows Update on my PC, and ever since, I’ve been unable to get onto Sims 4 or Sims 4 (Get Together). Everytime I go on the app, it just freezes, I can’t move my mouse or do anything, and I have to always turn off my laptop in order to get off it. Is there anyway to fix it? Please let me know.
No April 2025 SDX drop
I haven't played daily in a few weeks but I was still expecting to receive the SDX drops. I know for sure that I haven't received the most recent one in April 2025, but there may be more. I've tried to repair the game twice with no luck. How can I fix this and receive the drops?

When i try to click on open small business it doesn’t do anything. And i don’t have any mods installed. Edit By Crinrict: Added pack tag to title. EDIT by crinrict. this is potentially related to former r-rentals. Please add the following info when posting Did you build the small business yourself from scratch or download something from the gallery ? Did you build the small business on a lot that used to be a residential rental at some point ? Is this for a small business venue or a residential with small business ? Do you have multiple lots for the business ? Do you have other businesses in the household ?
The Sims 4 Will Not Open
I have read all the forums and tried everything from uninstalling EA and The Sims 4. Then reinstalling each. I tried removing my mods folder only. I have tried turning off my antivirus. I pulled out the Sims 4 folder to start fresh. It worked once. My screens blink a few times and then just sits on a blank white screen. I have no idea what else to try. I have restarted my pc many times. I'm not getting any error messages. The only way to close the window is to End Task. Is there something I can provide that will help figure out my problem?
White screen when plugging in a second monitor
Hello. I'm having a problem with the game. I play on a laptop and sometimes plug in my second monitor. When I'm playing The Sims and I decide to unplug my second monitor, the game freezes, I can't click on anything, and then the game goes completely white. This happens every time I plug in my second monitor or unplug it. So I have to quit the game via Task Manager. I still don't understand why Intel graphics cards still aren't on DX11. Thank you for your help.
[FR] : Mysterious Basket is weird behavior
Reading the explanation of the Basket, the kind of items can put in is limited, so other collectables can't. But if there is the both of the other Storage Box -not be able to put in inventory type one - and Mysterious Basket in the house, the items in Storage Box appear in Mysterious Basket as being there. And if you try to put the basket into your inventory while the items still appear in the basket, you can't put Mysterious Basket in Sim's inventory, and after that, you can no longer put in inventory the basket even if you put out the items from the Storage Box. 'Put in inventory' disappears from Pie menu when clicking Mysterious Basket and also cliking 'Place in World' pie menu does not work (request failer). Now I'm playing with only BG+FR EP, so I don't test on the another type - like ECO's Sticker Storage Box - Storage Box. The following lE is that I tested yesterday, so it's newest one. I repeated to let my Sim same action a few times for taking pics, so it's a little longer. And here is mentioned about 'can't place in Mysterious Basket' issue Archive thread.
my sims wont open an dis stuck in an ea app loop! help
this has been going on FOREVER and im tried frankly every time i try to open the sims it directs me to the ea app (which i didnt used to) this was after the new update and ive tried everything from removing cc and packs to carefully going though files and steam settings...Add ons not owned
sims add ons show up as not owned i can not use my sims 4 add ons somehow it was working just fine before until i exited on to the menu and clicked on play a scenario from then the app said that i need to restart or get the packs , but i am confused as i have bought the pack already . what should i do i need help i want the add ons back i went to my file manager and ep01 and ep03 wich i believe are city living and get to work are there and it shows the date and time i purchased them i also cleared the cache fixed issues as well and also after all that ea made me log out so i logged back in and the **bleep** ons still show up as not owned i have proof of my purchase in my bank app i would like this to be fixed . they dont appear as owned on both ea and the sims 4 i have
Purchased newest Kits did not receive them
I purchased the newest kits that came out this week and the purchase went through but did not show up. I thought I had accidently closed out of the window too soon, so I repurchased the kits. The same thing happened, So I went to my Order History and found I had actually purchased them twice and did not receive any of them. How do I get the second purchase refunded and get the kits delivered via download? [CM Edit: Personal info removed]
