sims 4 not launching since the march update
I've had Sims 4 for years and have never had this issue. I bought the new expansion pack ( business and hobbies) and went about my game as normal, after a few playthroughs my business wouldn't close at all even after the notification about Sim 4 law it never closed, then the Sims 4 came out with the 2nd march update (which I assumed was the fix the bugs from the 1st one) once the update was done I tried launching my game and it would send me into the sims loading screen for a few minutes ( like usual) and then bring me back to the EA app. I don't use any mods or CC, I've tried repairing the game and then uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it still won't work.So I tried it on Steam but I think my Steam and ea account are linked as it wouldn't work there either. I've had Sims since it came out and I've never had or heard of anyone having this issue I've tried contacting EA help but no one ever got back to me, please help me fix my gameThe sims 4 não está abrindo no Mac
Meu jogo não inicia já tem 2 dias. Abro o EA app e quando clico em iniciar o jogo ele minimiza o ea app como se fosse abrir mas logo maximiza de novo. Já fiz de tudo, já reparei, já desinstalei e instalei de novo, já removi todos os arquivos salvos, todos os mods, já baixei a ultima versão da Ea app e nada, o jogo simplesmente não inicia. Não sei se tem algo a ver com alguma atualização. Alguém pode me ajudar?I can't start my game
I need help fixing and/or someone to tell me why, when I click on Sims 4 on the EA app, it loads for a second, then returns to the EA app and doesn't say anything, not even that the game is crashing or something is wrong. I have fully uninstalled the game and reinstalled it (including deleting it from applications), and I have also tried to repair it multiple times. I have restarted my computer and even updated it. I don't know if there is something wrong with the app or the game, or my computer. This problem was very random and just randomly happened, so if someone can help me, that would be great! (P.S. I play on a Mac, so I don't know if there is a difference.)base game not found
hi, I was trying to move my sims 4 to an external drive. I think I may have did the steps wrong I deleted the sims first then moved the electronic arts folder . Now when I try to update sims (which I shouldn't be able to do bc I deleted it ) but says file not found and that the base game isn't installed. how do I fix this /\The Sims 4 Won’t Launch on Mac (EA App Relaunches Instead)
Hi, I’ve been unable to open my game for the past three days. When I click "Play" in the EA app, The Sims 4 icon briefly appears, then closes itself after a few seconds, and the EA app reopens. Steps Tried: The issue occurs even without mods Repaired the game via the EA app Reinstalled the game The game updated to the latest version while repairing My Mac has no available software updates Game files are located in: Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 Despite all this, the issue persists. I haven't modified any files, and the game was working fine earlier. I simply closed the app, and when I tried launching the game again a few hours later, this started happening (a few days ago). System Specs: MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017) Processor: 3.1 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 Graphics: Radeon Pro 560 (4GB) & Intel HD Graphics 630 (1536MB) RAM: 16GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3 macOS Version: Ventura 13.7.4 I’m not sure what else to try at this point. My issue is quite confusing because I can upload custom tattoos, but I can't upload sims or houses that I have made in the past. I was trying to switch my sims over to a new save file so I had to save them and their house to the gallery. I press the save to library/gallery button and it doesn't work, it'll say "item uploaded succesfully" then I go on to the gallery/library (neither work) and its not their. The part I'm most confused about is my sister (who's using the same EA account but a different computer) and she can upload anything just fine? I have checked and it's not mod/cc related and I could upload the 8 sim family if I broke it up into 2 parts (but now I can't upload anything weather I break the family up or not)sims 4 will not start
I took out my mods folder, and made sure my game and the mods I use are up to date. The game keeps cutting off in build mode, and the game also deleted my saved game. Okay fine but when I go to put my restaurants etc. etc. it cuts off. I deleted my EA cache and the Game cache and tried to repair the game. Now my repair is pausing because it says I need disk space. My computer has been working fine and I have more than enough disk space as I only play the sims on my laptop. Mysteriously I recently received an email in regard to my reporting two accounts. I never reported anyone it gave me this reference no. 206560775 and 206485743.
