Help Me Delete My Saved Payment Method
Hello, I was locked out of my gmail account that was attached to my ea account and the only way that I can change my email for the ea account or to get rid of my payment method is to get back into my gmail account which is not an option. I was scammed and now even if I tried to get back in there is a "parent" on my gmail account and I was wondering if an ea worker... person could somehow help me?13Views0likes1CommentTOO MUCH PAY TO WINS

How do you go about filing a formal complaint with EA? I've had someone release my real address in gen chat in a Broadsword managed game. They also posted my real name, my wife's name, and my kids name. When I paged on the person I was told by email from the person that runs the game to just ignore them. This is not an acceptable response to being dox'd in a game.Solved2.9KViews3likes13CommentsAccount Recovered from Hacker, UI Prevents Submitting ToS Appeal
Hi everyone / EA Community Managers, I am desperately hoping a Community Manager can help escalate my case to the Terms of Service (ToS) team, as standard Live Chat support has hit a complete dead end and the EA Help website is caught in an infinite loop. The Background: When trying to launch Apex Legends via Steam, I discovered my Steam account had been linked to a compromised, unknown EA account (ja*****@thatonsko.com) and banned due to the hacker's actions. I contacted EA Support via Live Chat. The first agent (Aditi) was very helpful: they verified my identity, successfully removed the hacker's account, and secured my true account. They confirmed the ban was the result of a compromise and instructed me to submit a ToS appeal to get the ban lifted. The Problem: I literally cannot submit an appeal because the options do not exist on my end. 1 - Penalty History Page: When I check my penalty history, it says: "No history. You have no violations or appeals on your account." (This is likely because the ban was triggered on the hacker's EA account before it was unlinked). 2 - The Manual Webform Loop: The agent told me to manually escalate by going to help.ea.com/en/customer-care/, typing "Submit an appeal", clicking Submit, and selecting "Email us". 3 - The Dead End: The "Email us" option simply does not exist. Clicking submit just loops me back to the general self-help menu. I have tried this on multiple browsers (Firefox, Edge) and provided screenshots to support showing that the button is missing. Support Refuses to Escalate: I re-opened the chat to explain that the "Email us" option is missing. The second agent (Bhavyam) told me that Live Chat cannot contact ToS, and that my only option was to use the link they provided. Even after I sent screenshots proving the link/button doesn't exist, the agent essentially told me there was nothing else they could do and ended the interaction. I have all the chat transcripts, screenshots of the broken webform, and my Steam ID ready. I just need a human being to physically route this to the ToS queue since the website is broken and the standard support agents refuse to do it. Can an EA Community Manager please help me get this in front of the ToS team? Any help would be greatly appreciated!22Views0likes2CommentsEA NextStep, a step back
I am starting to think that they know what they are doing, seeing that the forum was the only resource that popped up when I was researching a problem I was pleasantly surprised to see a "contact us" button at the bottom of the support page. Now I was fully expecting an AI assistant, at least before speaking with support staff or having a ticket created, but what EA has created is well beyond any other assistant I have ever had the displeasure of navigating. Every single prompt from EA NextStep comes with little to no regard of the information you entered into the window previously. Beyond stating your name multiple times be prepared to state your problem, game, and system multiple times in repeat. And for those of you as gullible as me, hoping, praying to at least have an actual ticket created and maybe get a chance to have another person review your problem, let me save you the effort. At the end of each session with EA NextStep it will prompt you to the EA "Self Help" guide where the AI chose an article for you to read and hopefully fix the problem yourself, the only problem, it doesn't actually listen to your problem. I was trying to solve the random EA app failure on PC and beyond having to give it all of the important information multiple times, I was offered a generic "game help" article, a "login help" article, and a "connectivity troubleshooting" article, none of which actually addressed the problem or the fact that I had attempted many of the steps those articles were suggesting before trying to find more help. If anyone has a solution to the EA app bug, I would be very appreciative, but I will not hold my breath on EA finding the solution, as the multitude of threads on and off of this site complaining about the exact issue I was having, and the EA proposed solution, if all else fails, factory reset, and the EA app and EA games are just not worth that effort.307Views4likes8CommentsCannot submit a support ticket/AI bot stuck in a loop
I tried looking at what was offered by EA_Lanna here: How to start a live chat conversation with EA? | EA Forums - 12316916 That leads me to a an AI chatbot that is stuck in a loop. I submitted another thread here: How in the heck are we supposed to submit a support ticket? | EA Forums - 13319879 That outlines the challenges I am having since the chatbot will either drop me to a FAQ about issues I am not having, or continuously ask me the same questions over and over. I can not find anywhere on the support website that will bring me to either a) a place to submit an email ticket, or b) talk to a live agent via chat. AI bots CAN work for support issues, but the one EA has implemented doesn't seem to be capable of handling the task. Soooo, where do I go to submit a ticket/chat with a live agent on my original issue, (which I submitted an EA Forums post over three weeks ago and have yet to have a reply from EA on)? EDIT: It looks like my "how in the heck" post got moderated to who-knows-where, so here's the lowdown so the mods understand the issue I am having in trying to submit a troubleticket. I go an try and submit a troubleticket and it gets into a constant loop offering incorrect diagnosis, and then asking for the problem, the game, and the platform. Rinse and repeat. If I agree to its incorrect diagnosis, it drops me to a FAQ about the issue that isn't my problem. If I tell it "no that is incorrect" The process starts all over again.Solved28Views0likes1Comment
