Feature Request: Limit PvP Influence After Alliance Has Destroyed the Fortress
I’d like to suggest a change to what happens after an alliance has successfully destroyed the Fortress and secured the #1 position on a world. The problem At present, an alliance can effectively win the world and then continue dominating it. On a number of worlds, we’ve seen very strong, organised groups destroy the Fortress and secure #1, but instead of considering their campaign complete, they remain heavily involved in PvP and centre progression. This allows the winning alliance to: Police access to the centre and attack alliances that are still trying to progress. Use Support Weapons and high-level players to determine which alliances are allowed through. Escort weaker wings or friendly alliances into the remaining ranking positions. Prevent genuinely competitive independent alliances from progressing. Effectively decide who receives the #2, #3, #4, #5, etc. badges after already securing #1 themselves. The result can be absurd. Strong alliances containing active players who have invested considerable time and money into the world can be forced to wait, fight an alliance that has already won, or simply quit, while considerably weaker wings are escorted through to ranking positions they could never achieve independently. It also encourages the creation of large multi-alliance blocs. Winning isn't necessarily the end goal anymore; controlling the world after winning becomes part of the strategy. Proposed solution: “Victor” status Once an alliance destroys the Fortress, the players who participated in that victory should enter a Victor status for the remainder of that world. They should still be able to play. I do not think they should simply be removed from the world or made completely inactive. However, their ability to influence the remaining competitive rankings should be restricted. For example, players with Victor status could: No longer initiate or participate in PvP against players who are still competing for their ranking. No longer use Support Weapons to assist PvP or centre progression for other alliances. Continue playing PvE content, farming, chatting and participating in other non-competitive activities. Crucially, Victor status should attach to the individual player/account, not simply the alliance. Otherwise the obvious workaround would be: Destroy Fortress → leave winning alliance → join wing → continue fighting on their behalf. A player who participated in the Fortress victory should therefore retain Victor status even if they subsequently change alliances. Why? Destroying the Fortress and securing #1 should mean you have won the world. The reward for winning should be the #1 badge and the associated rewards—not the ability to spend the remainder of the world deciding who is permitted to finish #2–5. This would also make the remaining rankings far more meaningful. After #1 has completed the Fortress, the next strongest alliances would have to compete against each other, rather than against the already victorious alliance and its network of wings. It would reduce server policing, discourage dominant groups from dragging multiple weak wings through the rankings, and give independent alliances a genuine reason to continue playing after the Fortress falls. Most importantly, it doesn't punish the winners by removing them from a world they've invested time and money into. It simply recognises that their competitive campaign is complete and prevents them from continuing to determine everybody else's result. I think this would make worlds considerably more competitive and enjoyable, particularly in the period after the first Fortress destruction.Users should stop buying gems.
UNTIL ISSUES THAT ARE STEALING MONEY FROM MEMBERS ARE FIXED IN A TIMELY MANNER. Concerns I returned to Pogo after many years because medical issues gave me more downtime and I wanted to see how the platform had evolved. I continue to support Pogo because of its community, but unresolved bugs, confusing support channels, and increasingly expensive gameplay are making that loyalty difficult to sustain. Support and Quality Control Replace the outdated, difficult-to-navigate support forum with a clearer path for reporting and resolving technical problems. Assess new games and challenges before release and verify they are free of bugs immediately afterward. Acknowledge recurring issues and provide visible status updates instead of leaving players to repeat the same complaints. Pricing and Rewards Offer better value for gems, power-ups, and membership fees. Extend play sessions instead of exhausting energy after roughly ten minutes and requiring another purchase. Align challenge difficulty with rewards so players are not forced into a repetitive cycle of spending power-ups to earn more power-ups. For example, in MONOPOLY Sudoku, one Foresight power-up costs 40 gems. With 55 gems priced at $4.99, a single power-up costs about $3.63 yet provides only a brief advantage in one game. That imbalance undermines enjoyment rather than encouraging long-term play. Poker Features and Player Choice Texas Hold’em Poker once gave longtime members a reason to stay because they could play with friends and customize the experience. Restoring that flexibility would strengthen both gameplay and community. Requested Improvements Let players create tables, choose opponents, set house rules and ante amounts, and organize private tournaments. Allow beginners to play together, challenge experienced players, or watch and chat without joining a game. Restore flexible betting instead of automatically pushing players toward higher stakes. Improve matchmaking so friends can play together and tables fill faster. Rework the division system so it reflects skill rather than simply rewarding frequent play. Reduce the size of the chat panel and make switching between lobby and table chat easier. Why Longtime Players Remain Pogo is more than a collection of games. The majority of members use it to relax, stay connected, and reduce isolation. Over the years, casual chats have grown into lasting friendships with people we may never meet but can trust, confide in, and lean on for support. A Constructive Path Forward Pogo does not need to compete only for younger mobile players. It can also serve the loyal audience that still values PC gaming, familiar titles, badges, challenges, and community. Research competing games and pricing models. Listen to loyal players and act on recurring feedback. Deliver reliable challenges, longer play sessions, and meaningful rewards. Preserve the social and customizable features that distinguish Pogo from other gaming platforms. The frustrated posts in this forum do not reflect resistance to change. They reflect loyalty and a desire to see Pogo improve. We are not against change—we simply want it done well. Well, it's been at least 5 months since my Family Gnome House and Bags of Seeds generators quit working. I click on them and absolutely nothing happens. I've tried playing in both Chrome and Edge, have cleared all cookies and temp files, etc. None of the troubleshooting I can do has made any difference. If Pogo isn't going to fix the problem (an I know I'm not the only one with this problem with generators) then Pogo could at least give me the coins needed to buy the items when they show up in the in-game marketplace. I have been a paying member of Pogo for over 20 years and this has been the biggest customer service failure I have seen. PLEASE FIX THIS GAME!!!Snowbird Solitaire Daily Challenge - NO BADGE
Snowbird Solitaire Bonus Daily Challenge Today, September 27 is the 7th day to finish the daily challenges in Snowbird. I finished them ALL and did NOT receive the Bonus Badge or the Pogi's! Another fine mess Pogo has made. Me wasting my time playing a game every day to get NOTHING!

All of the clubs, spades, hearts, and diamonds do NOT clear when matched. This restricts many possible 'moves' on the game board. They are stuck there, frozen, and no other matches can clear them. I've cleared my cache, restarted the computer, removed then redownloaded the Pogo app, and tried playing the game from Edge (my preferred browser), Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox. Has anyone else had this problem? Pogo username: TheBlackSheCat Device Type: Laptop Operating System: Windows 11 Browser used: Microsoft Edge Current Browser Version Number: Version 153.0.4234.46
