Plasma Packs
Vampires now do not automatically use the plasma packs in their inventory when clicking on their thirst meter. You now must open their inventory and select them individually which is really inconvenient especially since the action itself is also glitched, sims will drink 1 plasma pack and then it cancels out any other actions in their queue, so you can't have them drink multiple at a time, having to select packs again and again. Bad week for occult players.
Desync/Picker Interaction (Causing LEs) on Loveseats/Sofas
Sims are unable to sit at sofas/loveseats as the "sit" interaction is no longer available and upon clicking on the sofa/loveseat, the game generates a LE, every time. Sometimes it reads as a desync, sometimes it reads as a picker interaction. My save was modded but mods have since been removed to test. This has not been happening on newly generated saves and is only affecting my pre Dec 2nd update saves. NO Prom & Graduation Prom, Missing From Calendar In All News and Old Saves.
Platform: PC (Windows). / GPU: NVIDIA. / Game Version: Latest (post recent updates). / Mods/CC: NO (tested with clean folder) 🛑Steps already taken in various attempts at repair (IMPORTANT READ)🛑: (1) Removed all mods and CC. (2) Deleted cache files. (3) Renamed the entire “The Sims 4” folder to generate a clean one. (4) Tested with a brand new save. (5) Persists even after full reset (uninstalling and reinstalling the game). (6) Always have the options to allow romantic interests and requests and to allow friendly interests and requests enabled. Prom, social events, etc no longer appear in the calendar, Only professions-day and Fridays exams appear on. The issue occurs in all newly created saves AND OLD ONES, even with teenagers present. 🛑(IMPORTANT READ)🛑 This appears to be a global calendar generation bug, not save-specific. I have installed the Enchanted by Nature Pack yesterday and played for a while with one sim in Sprucederry Grove. Newly made sim, newly made world. By now she has her Natural Living Skill maxed. Her lot if the Fern and Frond Wading Pool. She should be able to bathe in her pond and look for frogs there, but she simply refuses. I've tried completing her wants, but that helped literally only once. The weather is cold, but with her Natural Living Skill at 10 this shouldn't matter according to the game. She DOES bathe in the river/stream in Spruderry Grove, so I know the cold isn't the problem. She can get to the water of the pond on the lot without a problem. I have no CC nor mods installed as I first wanted to try out this pack without any outside additions. NPCs getting stuck on bush in Newcrest
The sim maid (and possibly others i haven't noticed) keep getting stuck on this bush and after many attempts and google searches trying to find a way to just delete the bush which is outside my houses build zone, couldn't find any work around aside from having to go to turning on cheats to reset the sim that got stuck which is pretty annoying. Cant use cheats
I know how to open the text box for the cheats. I know what to type in to turn the cheats on, but every time I open the text box the cursor is there and blinking in the box but when I type- nothing shows up. I have a PC laptop. Please help! I've had this bug happening a few times in different locations (home, Netherworld HeadQuarters and the most recent at the Spicy Festival) after planning some interactions for the sim. The last was with the Spice festival. I got this error message (with thanks to the Better Exceptions Mod by Twisted Mexi, the only mod installed in the game) Exception in Sim Timeline: Exception running Element (AttributeError: 'JoinSituationElement' object has no attribute 'situation_type') I closed the game last night after getting that error. And upon opening the game this morning again I got the error immediately, I assume because the Sim was still in the same situation. I've played this particular save always without mods because I specifically only made it for the events and I wanted to make sure nothing would influence the events in one way or another. The only mod that is installed is the Better Exceptions mod from Twisted Mexi. What I was trying to do: - Planned some interactions for my sim to talk to the stall vendors - What I expected would happen: just normal execution of the tasks - What happened: --> Without the mod: the game would start to lag and then hang and I couldn't even get the game to close. I had to force close it through the task manager by ending bu several times ending the task (the task would pop back up several times in the task manager before it remained ended) --> With the Better Exceptions mod: I got the BE Warning and the report. I closed the game after that without a hitch. but.... I can't play this particular save file anymore until the bug gets resolved because now it pops-up immediately when I resume the game and my Sim and the world are loaded. More information from the Better Exceptions report: Possible Cause (Confidence: 10%) interaction_elements I have added the saves files from last night's session and from this morning and the Better Exceptions report to the attached zip-file. I hope that helps in finding out what's wrong. [CD] [AA] Dogs use playground/diving board and become distorted
OK umm I just wanted to describe a bug I noticed. I put up a play ground for my minisims (kids) pretty impressive 🧐 but the thing is my dogs don't seem to think it's a Sim toy but a Dog toy, they go up the stairs and the ramps. They go through the tunnel and down both slides the regular one and the snake one. It's very disturbing to watch. It reminds me of an old cc or mod from Sims3. some piece of clothing that deformed sims, that was a mess, my message not to use them lol. well that's it, check it out please, see what you think and have a good laugh 😄 nelejake.
