It's like having a semi pro difficulty in one match and a world class difficulty in the next, helping the opponent I get the deliberate balancing, the opponent's defenders are boost but statistic not agree back this performance, as if they are getting a beating, and my strikers are slower... I know this is unfortunately true in head to head that they lose a star in the next match and win easily, but they can't pass or create a shooting situation, neither the previous nor the current opponent. This AI is completely boosted. Van der Sar was my opponent's goalkeeper. I led 2-0 in the 3rd situation. I went 1v1 and he shot half way across the goal, about 30 meters away, he kicked my attack, even though I pressed 20%. this AI help is completely unfair.. I haven't seen anything like this where I pull my defenders away from the opponent and they don't want to react? Is there this option so that the AI can step there for us and take the ball in the right situation? isn't it unfair, shouldn't I be in control 100%? But the most interesting thing is when my opponent steps in and I have to play against AI who is already playing on semi pro or world class difficulty without user control.. for me this is completely unfair and unfair.. I've been playing FC Mobile for years, and I honestly believe this is the worst state the game has ever been in. Every major update is supposed to make the game more enjoyable, more realistic, and more rewarding. Instead, this update has done the opposite. The gameplay has become less authentic, progression has become far more grindy, and almost every new system seems designed to push players toward spending money. This isn't written because I hate FC Mobile. It's written because I remember how good it used to be. That's exactly why it's so frustrating to see the direction the game has taken. Gameplay Has Taken a Huge Step Back The biggest disappointment isn't even the monetization—it's the football itself. Football should feel fluid, dynamic, and rewarding. Every pass, tackle, dribble, and shot should feel different depending on the situation. That's what made previous versions enjoyable. Now, too much of the gameplay feels stiff, repetitive, and predictable. Players don't move naturally anymore. Dribbling feels heavier. Turning feels slower. First touches often feel delayed. Even players with incredible pace and dribbling don't feel explosive anymore. It genuinely feels like many elite 110–115 OVR players perform like average silver cards. What's the point of building an incredible squad if your world-class players don't actually feel world-class? The Normal Shooting Has Lost Its Identity One of the biggest downgrades is something many people don't even talk about enough: the standard shot. I'm not talking about finesse shots. I'm not talking about power shots. I'm talking about simply pressing the normal Shoot button. Before the update, every shot felt unique. The trajectory depended on your player's movement, body position, speed, angle, and how the ball was struck. If you were sprinting down the wing and hit a shot across goal, the ball often had a slight natural curve. If you cut inside before shooting, the trajectory looked different again. These weren't special animations—they were small details that made the gameplay feel alive and authentic. Now, almost every normal shot feels identical. The ball simply travels in a straight line. Every time. From almost every angle. It feels robotic and repetitive, removing one of the most satisfying parts of scoring goals. Football isn't supposed to look like every player is firing laser-straight shots regardless of how they hit the ball. Real football is full of subtle curves, different strikes, and natural variation. The older gameplay captured that feeling much better. The new version feels flatter, less exciting, and far less rewarding. Passing Has Become Unreliable Passing is another area that has clearly declined. Simple passes sometimes go to completely different teammates. Through balls ignore obvious runs. Players hesitate before releasing the ball, making quick attacking football much harder than it should be. Instead of feeling like you're controlling elite footballers with world-class vision, it often feels like you're hoping the game chooses the correct target. When basic passing becomes frustrating, the entire flow of football suffers. Defending Feels Inconsistent Defending no longer feels as responsive as it used to. Defenders react slowly. Tackles often feel delayed. Interceptions can seem random. Players sometimes fail to track runs that should be obvious. Many goals are conceded not because your opponent outplayed you, but because your defenders simply didn't react properly. That's incredibly frustrating in a competitive football game. Goalkeepers Have Become Inconsistent Goalkeepers are another major problem. Sometimes they make unbelievable saves that seem impossible. The next moment they completely fail to stop a routine shot that any professional goalkeeper should save. There doesn't seem to be enough consistency anymore. A goalkeeper shouldn't feel overpowered one minute and completely useless the next. Great goalkeepers should reward good positioning and smart play, not feel unpredictable from one shot to another. The Game Feels Less Skill-Based The biggest issue is that matches often feel less dependent on skill than they used to. Instead of winning because of better decision-making, better movement, and better football, games are increasingly decided by inconsistent gameplay, delayed reactions, awkward animations, and unpredictable mechanics. A competitive football game should reward skill first. Right now, it often feels like you're battling the game itself instead of your opponent. The Monetization Has Gone Too Far Gameplay problems would already be enough, but the monetization makes everything even worse. Almost every event introduces another expensive player. Another currency. Another grind. Another pack. Another reason to spend money. The return of the shard system had huge potential because the original version gave dedicated players a realistic path toward earning top cards through consistent play. Now, requiring tens of thousands of shards for elite players feels excessive. Instead of motivating players, it makes many feel like progression is intentionally stretched to encourage spending. Grinding should feel rewarding. Instead, it often feels endless. FC Mobile Is Becoming Too Pay-to-Win Every update seems to increase the gap between players who spend money and those who simply want to enjoy the game. There is nothing wrong with optional purchases in a free-to-play game. But when progression, events, and player acquisition increasingly revolve around spending, the experience starts feeling less like football and more like a business model. Many long-time players don't mind supporting a game they love. What they do mind is feeling pressured to spend just to stay competitive. Football should always come before monetization. Right now, it feels like monetization comes first. Listen to the Community Players have been giving feedback for months. People are asking for smoother gameplay. Better passing. More natural shooting. More responsive dribbling. Better defending. More consistent goalkeepers. Fairer progression. Less grinding. Less emphasis on gambling-style mechanics. These aren't unreasonable requests. They're requests to make the football enjoyable again. Final Thoughts FC Mobile used to be a game I would recommend without hesitation. It felt rewarding, responsive, authentic, and fun. Today, in my opinion, it has lost much of what made it special. The gameplay feels slower and less natural. The shooting has lost its personality. Passing is unreliable. Defending is inconsistent. Goalkeepers are frustrating. Elite players no longer feel elite. Progression has become exhausting. And monetization has started overshadowing the football itself. This game once felt like a five-star football experience. Today, for me, it barely feels like a two-star game. The good news is that none of these problems are impossible to fix. Bring back the fluid gameplay. Bring back the natural shooting physics. Make elite players actually feel elite again. Improve passing, defending, and goalkeepers. Reduce the excessive grind. Stop building every update around another way to encourage spending. Most importantly, remember why millions of people started playing FC Mobile in the first place. Not for endless packs. Not for impossible grinds. Not for gambling-style mechanics. Dear EA Sports Team, I am a long-time, dedicated FC Mobile player who has built a 125 OVR team purely through hard work and strategic grinding. However, the VS Attack (VSA) mode has recently become completely unplayable and fundamentally unfair due to the broken matchmaking algorithm and the pay-to-win nature of the "Badge System." I would like to formally voice my complaints regarding the following issues: Unfair Matchmaking Algorithm: As a 125 OVR player, despite there being thousands of players with the same rating in my division, your system constantly pairs me against 128 OVR "whale" players who spend massive amounts of real money. It feels as if the game intentionally ignores my own OVR pool just to throw me as "bait" to high-spending users, which completely ruins the competitive integrity. The "Pay-to-Win" Gap Created by the Badge System: In previous seasons, when the maximum OVR was locked, everyone competed on a level playing field based on squad-building intelligence and gameplay skill. Now, the badge system allows high-spending players to artificially boost their teams by +3 OVR up to 128 OVR. Furthermore, when matched against lower OVR teams, heavy "scripting" occurs, making my players feel incredibly sluggish. Because of this artificial manipulation, I dropped significantly from 23 stars down to 15 stars. Absurd and Disappointing Division Rewards: How can reaching 30 stars—the 3rd highest tier in the division—only reward players with a simple cosmetic "kit"? Reaching such a high milestone after days of grinding and sweating should be rewarded with valuable resources like Gems or high-tier player tokens, not a useless jersey. This current state makes the community worry that you will eventually ruin the Head-to-Head (H2H) mode next. If you do not want to completely lose your loyal player base, you must urgently fix the OVR matchmaking balance in VSA, nerf the artificial advantages of the badge system, and rework the division rewards. Add new 4 ⭐ skill moves!! The old ones are now obsolete, the game needs more flair; The playstyles and 5 star skill move has given P2W players advantages. Add new defensive skill moves, the hard tackle is only effective at close range. It feels very unfair that a cheaper and lower OVR version of the same player has a PlayStyle, while the higher OVR and much more expensive version does not.
