Replacement for POI's
With the situation that I personally witnessed in Firestorm 30, I would like to request for worlds with either no POI's or few and/or weak POI's to have something to bolster a player's ability to farm higher level bases. The idea works similar to infected camps, but on Forgotten Bases. Right now, there is no practical way to battle upgraded forgotten units, which I will also tackle. After building a level 14 Command Center, there should be a notification about infected Bases. These work like a combination between Infected Camps and Guardian Bases. A player who has a Command Center level of 14 or above would cause nearby lower level (about 2 to 3 levels lower) Forgotten Bases to mutate into a resource packed Forgotten Bases called Infected Bases. Within that base, the defense units will have either 1 of 2 things, the unit level will jump by 2 levels or the unit will have its upgraded variant. Basically, the Forgotten Unit in question gets an upgrade, on whatever the ability is supposed to be. The forgotten units don't have a page that describes their upgraded abilities, I would like to see that changed. In the base, the Defense Headquarters and Defense Facility would each yield a 24 hour RT crate, if destroyed directly. Standard infected structures will also replace some of the normal Forgotten Structures with their appropriate loot. Destroying the CY does not grant any of these specialized loot, you have to destroy each one manually, which means sharing the base is possible. If one leaves the base alone and doesn't destroy it, the Defense Facility and Defense Headquarters will regenerate, the other infected structures won't. The specialized loot however is a 1 time offer to players who attack the base. Destroying it just leaves a standard ruin and these bases respawn once per player once a day near the highest level offense base he has.PTE Reset October 24th, 2025
Hello Testers! We are resetting the PTE! Reset will occur on Friday, October 24th, 2025, between 7:00 - 10:00 a.m. UTC. All progress in the world will be reset. The new world configuration will include the following details: no morale no Forgotten attacks no POIs player levelcap 65 We're entering somewhat unchartered territory here. We assume that the level cap is too high for the world to be really fun. That's why we need your feedback. The idea is to reconfig the world in short(er) periods of time and with that and your input dial in world settings that are indeed fun to play. I noticed a bug in the PTE while having some PvP testing... I had 2 accounts attacking each other to find out if one could stall an attack and make the timer stop without letting units reach the base. I only had a defense of walls in both cases. Whenever some units break through and the attack ends with no base damage, no loot is expected. But if the timer expires and the units are still in the defense area, I was given loot when the timer expired... It simply makes no sense. I know you can get loot from attacking base structures, but I don't know if the loot can only be obtained by destroying the CY or some of the base structures. Also in the TABS, you have shown incorrect results for PvP loot. TABS says I will get 1.5M Tiberium, I only got less than a 3rd of it from the base's storage supply.Next reset preferences
May I request to the server operators of the PTE that the next reset have some changes on the initial unit level? After the 'base locked in combat' major issue, there hasn't been a reset. This current PTE set up has a minimum unit and structure level of 30, the last one over a year ago was at level 10. I think we may be missing out on allowing players to place down level 1 units as bait for certain defensive forgotten units by either outranging the target or outright attacking them without retaliation.
