If ALL of this isn't fixed by 2026 game then it isn't worth buying ever again. I could develop this game much better than what they are doing. Here what is wrong with this game. Absolutely terrible when it comes to penalties(not sure if the developers have ever watch or played hockey at all). None of the penalties are called correctly. Goals by the computer are scored in ways physics couldn't ever explain, Pucks will hit the goalie in the chest and some how go in the net. The HUT moments are ridiculously tiered. All-Star setting for a 78 player. All-Star setting to get 2,000 coins. A HUT moment should NEVER be above your 3rd tier which is Pro on this game, Superstar to get a token to add to set for an 85, 75 speed moving as fast as a 99 speed on certain tiers, 78s scoring goals on 99 goalies on simple shot any person could save, gives you lower tiered players or player who never played with the moment player but will give the computer everyone that is at their highest then set the moment at All-Star and you need to score 4 goals with an excellorated clock in the 3rd period and only 2 minutes left (Special HUT Moments challenge). TOTW, TOTY, X-Factor and Power Icons have ridiculously animations to see what the card is, just open the card like normal the colored background is enough to see what it is. So EXPENSIVE for packs just to get a chance at the highest cards in the set per week. Make guarantees of 1 out 5 for $30 packs. They show you a percentage of your chance at that player and it never adds up. 50% chance at 95 open 4 packs and get none. The coins on selling back a card is ridiculously low and WAY to many BND and UnTradeable card packs. UnTradeable while doing sets its fine but make every pack card tradeable or if Untradeable at least have a quick sell worth the money to buy the pack. BND card selling nets you 0 coins should be at least 2,000, set player quick sell 0 coins should be no less than 10,000, 94 auctionable card quick sell 200 coins should be no less than 150,000 all going down as higher tier coming out but never low enough to not make it worth getting rid of. You should be able to sell 10 cards per promotion to buy at least a 3,000 NHL points pack from the store. Run the promotion for a month not a week or two. The only good qualities of this game are HUT Fantasy Hockey, TOTY, X-Factor and Power Icon top tier players go up as higher levels of those players come out, downside is it cost you a fortune in lower tier cards to upgrade the X-Factor and Power Icon or to get tokens to get fantasy players. Fantasy players that are 99 who aren't even in the playoffs, have a 99 card, or are even the best at their positions or on their own team. The developers of this should get with the Madden guys and learn how to do the quick sell coins. Taking trading out of the Auction House and make it simple. This isn't even everything wrong this is just HUT!!! Didn't even mention CHEL, or anything else outside the HUT. Also loves to kick you off with 30 seconds left in the game and you have 5 objectives done and you have to replay them again plus lose the game. As a longtime NHL fan and player, I appreciate the direction EA took with the Total Control system in NHL 25. It introduces a fresh, streamlined way to perform skill moves and dekes, especially for newer players. However, there's one major issue that prevents many of us from fully adopting it: The removal of button-based shooting (Square = Slap Shot, Circle = Wrist Shot) makes Total Control feel limiting and less intuitive for players who struggle with aiming and shooting via the right analog stick. Suggestion: Allow players to use Square for slap shots and Circle for wrist shots within Total Control mode, just like in Hybrid controls. This way: - Players who are comfortable using button shooting can still benefit from the Total Control deke system. - The system becomes more flexible and inclusive, without sacrificing its modern appeal. - Advanced players can still use the analog for full manual control, while casual or hybrid-style players get the comfort of classic mechanics. This small change would dramatically improve accessibility and enjoyment for a large portion of the NHL community. Please consider adding this option in NHL 26 — or at least allowing full customization of control schemes, so players can tailor their gameplay to their preferences. p.s please add Polish language if u can 😍 Thanks for listening to the community!Presentation in NHL 26
If you can make the presentation feel like we're on TV, you could put a price tag of €200/$200 and I'll buy it. It's the only thing I care about. The cutscenes and replays are so fast right now that the game feels forced. I'd like to sit down, have a drink and watch the replays and stats or something, just like on TV in real life. EA_Aljo
NHL 26 - PC (yet another thread asking for it)
Firstly, I'd like to start with mentioning that I've played this franchise since I was a kid. My first one was '07 back on PS2. I loved hopping on and playing every chance I could. I was an every-other-year buyer of these games up until NHL 21, and it wasn't because I stopped enjoying them. It was because I, along with more and more gamers every year, made the move to PC. One of the only things I miss about my Playstation is the NHL games. If a new NHL game were to come out on PC - even better, on Steam? Instant wishlist. Instant buy on release day. I wanna play Be a Pro again. Make more expansion teams in Franchise mode again. Find some people to play in an EASHL club with again. It's not as if there's no market. PC grows year over year. Look at Capcom's recent earnings report, for example. Capcom has been a console-first developer/publisher for as long as it's been around. Their most recent huge title, "Monster Hunter: Wilds", actually ended up having more PC players than console players - a first for that series. And that's just one concrete example of the numbers supporting PC's meteoric growth. Streaming the game through Gamepass isn't a solution (though it's better than nothing). A lot of gamers, including myself, don't have an internet connection reliable enough to stream games. More still don't have one strong enough to stream games and play online modes. Customization Features: - ability to create jerseys with words on it, and select the font/style (like the rangers jerseys) as of now, we only have the ability to do logos - custom logos, similar to MLB the show, where people can submit there own ideas - custom goalie helmets (use the same tools for the custom logos) - more presentation items for stadiums, especially the on-ice graphics Be a Pro: - online be a pro, where you start on your junior team with your buddies, and all of you are on the same line, to where you leave each other in the draft, and reunite throughout the seasons/playoffs - ALL STAR GAMES AND WINTER CLASSICS does anything else need to be said - ability to start in youth hockey (or high school), this doesn't need to be realistic teams, just do something as simple as a AI generated 16 team youth league that has a 12 game season or something, to where you get scouted to other junior leagues - with that, other junior leagues, add the USHL, NAHL, BCHL, NCAA and more for more junior realism - more interactiveness (I'll touch on more later) Franchise Mode: - custom trophy/trophy name - I don't play franchise mode as much, so people down below can give there thoughts World Of CHEL: - Make it open world, similar to NBA 2k MyCourt - have the ability to create leagues within WOC (similar to what EA does for F1 24 online seasons) Presentation: - Make it feel like we're on TV... simple as that. sign a deal with ESPN or something to make it feel like the real thing - redo the whole presentation basically, from the commentating to the scorebug, it needs a redo. ESPN+ scorebug would be perfect for the NHL franchise - fix the goal celebration animations, the awkward camera angle we have now is not it. make it where like if someone goes and slams against the boards, theres a camera on the other side. just make it have emotion Gameplay: - FIX THE GOALIES, goalies now are bugged through the roof, and have awkward animations we don't see in real life. And goalies in NHL 25 are dependent on the specific height and stance. Goalies like Dustin Wolf who are great in real like, when playing with them in CHEL it feels impossible to make a save - Hitting needs a revamp as always LEAVE YOUR THOUGHTS BELOW, WOULD LOVE TO HEAR MORE

I'm a big fan of the games and am a Be A Pro merchant. I've played the last 10 NHL games, and have been wondering why it's so easy to become the captain in Be A Pro. The few things I want for NHL 26 Be A Pro are very simple: NHL 19 mechanics where it took 3-4 seasons to get the A, and 2-3 seasons after that to get the C. Since then, you could pretty much immediately become captain after a single season in every Be A Pro. I would love to see them implement these mechanics into the next game. It not only gives you something to work towards, but also adds a level a realism to the game. Please give less dialogue in Be a Pro and make it easier to sim. With so many random side missions and interactions, it makes it difficult to want to really grind the career and play for a while. NHL 19 is a perfect example of what my ideal Be A Pro would look like. Fix the Low, High, and Fixed camera angles to make them not spin in 360 degrees. EASHL: The cpu teammates, defense specifically, have been so nerfed, it allows anyone to skate around them, go forehand backhand and score. This does nothing but encourage 95% of players to make their character 5' 3", 120 lbs and exploit this to death. This is not a skill issue, literally anyone can do it, meaning it is actually a lack of skill issue with the game. Why can't defense shove in front of the net? How are they expected to play defense if you can't clear the net? The goalies have been so nerfed that goal/shot totals of 4/8 or 3/5 are most common and then teams quit. Dumping the puck has been nerfed to create more offense. It continues to make the game feel less realistic X factors. The game is decided based on x factors. This only encourages the individualism of this game. Take note of College Football 25, it has "x factors" and it does not in any way take over a game. Less fortnite more hockey A piece of advice, make the cpu players good. Make the defense good. Make the goalies good. Make people actually play as a team. Instead of a game losing it's audience more and more every year encourage people to get the game because it is the closest representation of hockey we can get. To sum it all up the game has gone from a team sport where all players have to work together to win the game, to now being a game where as much individualism as possible is encouraged and the only way to win. I don’t think that the gameplay of NHL 25 is necessarily bad, but it just feels so much slower and sluggish than 24 for whatever reason, so if it could get sped up a bit, or make the animations a bit smoother or faster that could be nice Not really something that is important, but would also be nice to have would be a more detailed creation zone, when you’re making an arena, I don’t really like how everything is basically premade, if you could implement something reminiscent of the stadium creator in MLB the show where you can build your own arena exactly how you want it, that would be sick, and I know this probably wouldn’t happen, but if we could make our own logos exactly how we want them to look too, that would also be sick Gm connected would be a nice mode to have back too (got a feeling it’s gonna be the main selling point of NHL 26) And finally one more thing that would be cool to have would be more of a playoff atmosphere, I’m talking about things like the Winnipeg jets whiteout, or the crowd being a little louder than in a normal matchEverything Wrong with NHL
This Game is Complete Garbage. PreBuilds have ruined the game. PreBuilds ruin the creativity of Eashl and other Modes. PreBuilds Not only get Better Attributes in The Main Categories but get Xfactors that Custom builds cant even use. Wheels Quick edges .... Hip Check is still Ridiculous players are bent over turning trying to follow the player theyre trying to hit. 95% of the time its A trip and not a hipcheck but never called. Reverse Hitting. Have you noticed the player using the reverse hit always wins? Regardless of Hitting power The reverse Hit always works. The Ai. Almost 20 years and still cant Figure out the Ai. Ai Dman is useless. Ai goalie will make the most unreal save and let in the softest goals Attributes either Dont work properly or dont have much affect . Strength Should Help on Faceoffs hitting shots. Shooting power doesnt seem to have much difference at all. Balance i dont think works could have 85+ Balance and still get worked by a 5'7160 sniper. Menus For a Next Gen game Menus are incredibly slow Match Club Size/Goalie. Why the Heck would you ever remove this from the game. Customization Logos Arenas have been the same for years cant get anything new? Cant get any retro logos ? Gameplay awful. No Team Store. Instead of us waiting to unlock new Logos for custom team Via Hockey Bags. Make a Store where we can buy logos jerseys all that. Make everything available at once not by day. How Bout instead of Just adding Dumb stuff you work on fixing the Problems with the game. The community literally gives you a bucket list of stuff to fix or to add you guys dont listen and just add things Literally no one asks for. You're more worried about adding PWHL and things like that to the game than actually fixing the horrible gameplay. I have no issue with Pwhl but The Game is NHL the gameplay is awful fix the Issues with the game then add. PWHL on NHL? EA since you want to do right why dont you Just Make a separate game for the womens game? They Should Have their own game not just an after thought on NHL! Im Sure PWHL 26 profits would be Through the Roof! Everyone would buy it just to find out The Game play is just copied and paste NHL.
