Suggestions for future updates to PVZ 2
Hello developers, I am a PvZ2 player from Indonesia, and I’d like to offer some suggestions and feedback. The game doesn't feel the same as it used to; the ad situation has become terrible—ads are everywhere. Upgrading plants now requires real money instead of gems, and buying coins also costs real money, yet updates only seem to bring new plants. My suggestion is to add new maps and bosses for existing zombie themes like Z-Corp and the Roman Empire, as well as new world plants, mini-games, and more exciting challenges. Also, please make leveling up less difficult so players don't have to spend so much money.36Views1like1CommentSuggestion: Crystal League – Global Ranking System After Jade
Thread Title: Add "Crystal League" (Found in Game Files) With a Global World Ranking to Arena Hi PopCap/EA team, There's a feature that has been sitting unused in the game files for a long time: Crystal League. It exists as a trophy/asset meant to be a league above Jade, but it has never been activated. I'd like to suggest bringing it to life with the following design: Suggestion Details 1. Soil Through Jade: Keep the Current System As-Is Leagues from Soil to Jade should keep working exactly as they do today: Each league lasts 1 week. Promotion/demotion is evaluated once a week (same as now). The Arena Gauntlet system stays the same in these leagues (1 Arena Gauntlet is used per match, and one free Gauntlet is earned every 4 hours) — nothing changes up to this point. 2. After Jade: Crystal League Unlocks Players who finish top 3 in Jade League get promoted to Crystal League. From here, the system changes: Global World Ranking: All players who reach Crystal League compete on a single global leaderboard, instead of small weekly regional groups. Fixed Daily Entries: Players get a fixed number of free entries per day in Crystal League (for example, 10 per day). This allowance: Resets every day and does not carry over. So if a player uses 7 out of 10 entries in a day, the remaining 3 do not carry over — they still only get 10 the next day (not 13). This prevents players from dominating the leaderboard through unlimited attempts, while giving every player an equal daily opportunity (e.g., 10/day = 70/week). The exact number (5, 10, etc.) is just an example and could be balanced during development. Score-Based Points: Instead of a simple win/loss system, players earn ranking points proportional to the score they achieve in a match. A higher score earns more ranking points than a lower one, so every match meaningfully reflects how well the player performed. 3. Incentive for Investment and Progression This system would motivate players to: Level up their plants, Improve their scoring skill, since climbing the global ranking would depend directly on both. Score Scaling With Plant Level: As a plant's level increases, the score earned from killing the same zombie should increase too. For example, if a level 1 plant earns 200 points for killing a zombie, that same plant at level 2 should earn something like 300 points for the same kill. This way, investing in plant upgrades (whether through time or money) directly translates into better Crystal League performance. Why This Matters Right now, once players finish Normal Mode (the main world levels like Ancient Egypt, Pirate Seas, Dark Ages, etc.), the only two things left to do are Arena and Penny's Pursuit. However, Penny's Pursuit becomes very difficult past level 1 and doesn't offer a long-term goal. With Crystal League: Players who finish Normal Mode get a meaningful, long-term goal to work toward. A global ranking system could bring an esports-like competitive culture to the game. Players get a strong incentive to invest in plant progression and score performance (both time and money). Since the trophy/asset already exists in the game files, development cost could be relatively low. Thanks for considering this suggestion!17Views1like1CommentZ Corp, Ancient Roman and Circus levels are always amazing!
Just wanted to pop on and ask you to please convey to developers that the additions of Z Corp, Ancient Roman and Circus levels are amazing. The music is great, the characters — I love the imp on the Gargantuar’s back waving the bottle of Caesar dressing, lol. Thank you and please keep incorporating these in Penny’s Pursuit and all over the game platform! Anyone else love these levels?30Views0likes0CommentsPlease. Do something about the state of PvZ
The state of this game is becoming miserable. Slingshot games is constantly dragging this game through the mud, the animations for the plants are mostly awful, just compare the old artists work to the current. The balancing is bad too, with either broken or underwhelming plants. Dont spam plants, just keep working one and refine it and then move onto the next instead of just rushing every month. New plants arent the only content that can be added. I am aware popcap is not in development anymore since they are working on pvz2. I have noticed that we are also being ignored. Yes, we know that. The OP on the socials does not respond to feedback or comments about the state of the games. Please do something about this, passion = profit. Why do you think Triple A studios such as steam and fromsoftware perform so well? This is also time to talk about PvZ replanted, this game could of revived the franchise. But it HAD to use AI. No, saying on social media that it doesnt use generative AI doesnt make it any better. It uses AI upscaling. It is lazy and uncreative. Plus, going out of the way to fake concept art of the original artist is beyond disrispectful, why would the company do that??? GW2. The state of this game on PC is abysmall. The hacker situation is still a problem and NOTHING is being done about it. It is being ignored on social media. This is going to be reposted every so often until it gathers attention.49Views0likes0CommentsCannot purchase anything on OPPO A78: "Error: User Not Authorized"
Hello EA Support and PvZ2 Community, I am writing this post to report a critical issue with the in-game store that is completely preventing me from making any microtransactions. Every time I attempt to buy any item or special offer from the store—including the No Ads Pack and the Crazy Dave Premium Bundle—the transaction is immediately blocked by a system popup stating: "Error: User Not Authorized. You are not authorized to purchase on this device." This is a brand-new account, and this error occurred on my very first purchase attempt. I used to have an older account where I purchased in-game items regularly without ever encountering this issue, but that old account is now gone, and this new account seems to be hard-locked out of the payment system from day one. My device, payment methods, and Google Play Store account are fully functional, and I can make purchases in other mobile games and apps with zero issues, meaning the problem is strictly isolated to Plants vs. Zombies 2. To help the technical team pinpoint why my device or account is flagging this authorization error, here are my exact details directly from the Build Version screen: my Device Model is OPPO A78, Game Version is a:13.1.1 | d:0.0.0, Player ID is DF81A5B8-9C5C-40E1-B566-8A3D4E6F90A1, and EA Device ID is 71bf056ecb1efdb2a6fa38159e59c0da4055784b9bcffcb0eac9fa1954ea5a9c. Before posting, I already tried troubleshooting by restarting the application, clearing the game cache, switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data, and verifying that my Google Play account is properly synchronized, but unfortunately, none of these steps resolved the error. This appears to be a backend restriction or an incorrect server-side flag attached to my new Player ID or EA Device ID. I genuinely want to support the game and purchase these bundles, but the system won't allow me to, so could a community manager or support representative please escalate this to the technical team to review my account status and lift this billing restriction? Thank you for your assistance, and I look forward to your reply.68Views0likes0CommentsGoogle Play progress overwritten by new profile [edit: email address removed]
Hello. My old phone is broken and I am trying to restore my PvZ2 progress on my new phone. My Google Games ID was PointedTiger2352 on email [edit: email address removed] and I have 70/75 achievements unlocked. However, when I started the game on my new phone, a new profile named Aciiii2016 was accidentally created on the exact same email and it completely overwrote my old progress. I have contacted EA Help multiple times, but I keep getting automated responses telling me to use the in-game chat, which loops me back to the same articles without any real help. Can a Community Manager please look into my case and help me get my PointedTiger2352 profile back? I have screenshots of my achievements as proof.Solved56Views0likes1CommentCan’t claim 10 gems reward
