Ranked Improvements / ALGS
After the Ranked Reset the ranked distribution looks almost unchanged. Except for the highest tiers. Ranked Distribution So, what's the purpose of a split? I got demoted to Plat 4 from Plat 3. What?!?! Ranked needs help from the top down. Top players are grinding for what? I like the cosmetic items and all for lower tiers. But Predators need something to "boast" about. Higher tier players are the ones streaming and making a living off of being an "Apex Content Creator". They need something for their viewers to get "hype" about. I just finished watching Apex on Twitch and the content creators don't have a lot to be hype about and that sentiment is passed to their viewers, which is bad for "marketing". I mentioned in previous posts that these players need better rewards, not just for them, for the hype it creates. A one-of-a-kind mythic gun skin for the #1 player. Now Unc will sit down and watch the young people play their best for that or whatever else. But Unc isn't going to watch you play around with your ALGS squad until 5pm scrims. I do watch scrims, mainly NiceWigg. But I would watch high tier Ranked play, if it were a thing. Right now, it's not. Basically, Ranked needs to "hang from a trophy" (mythic gun skin or something). With a better reward system and direction Ranked splits might become an outdated mechanic. Additionally, an end of season Apex Legends Predator Tournament would create a lot of hype and give spectators something additional to watch. Right now, Apex experiences the highest viewership for comp. I think there's room to expand on that. Ranked is a bridge to the ALGS, whether that's accepted or not. Every pro player has grinded Ranked. The notion that there should be a "large" gap between Ranked and comp doesn't make sense to me. The current Ranked system is great because if provides some structure for the whole competitive ecosystem. That's why I was advocating for the "Stay with Team" feature, because that completes the new Ranked setup. As a spectator I want to be able to watch the ALGS and when it goes off be able to play Apex and experience what I just enjoyed watching. This is the case with ALL sports. When I was growing up everybody wanted to be like Jordan, because of what we had seen in the NBA. This applies to Apex too, from an esports perspective. I'm sure there's plenty of young players who want to be the next ImperialHal. The current Ranked changes assist with starting that process. I've been watching since the beginning, EXP Invitational 2019 . I've watched all of those kids become professionals within this community. Apex gained a competitive following out the gate. We can't downplay that. I'm trying to help you all understand the "big picture", not individual preferences. There are too many "individual preferences" to try and cater to, so the devs/community needs to find a "happy medium" that makes sense for competitive Apex. Because Apex is an Esport. I hope the competitive ecosystem continues to evolve. I hope the devs find a happy medium with the esport orgs, especially in regard to having some in-game cosmetics (again). All of these improvements will create more "fandom", not less. Have fun in Japan!!!! :-)
doesn't run Apex Legends On STEAM DECK
Because my computer is very old, I bought a Steam Deck to play games like Hogwarts Legacy, Horizon Forbidden West, and Avatar, relying on Steam for that purpose. Apex Legends was among the games I couldn't play, but was sure I could. Not being able to play a game that's even playable on Nintendo Switch on Steam's own console is really disappointing. I want a solution to this as soon as possible. I'm very happy with the device, but not being able to play the game I've spent the most hours on is truly frustrating. I've played this game for 672 hours on Steam and spent a lot of money on it. It's my most played game. I hope you'll look into this.
Weekly and Daily XP Challenges not Progressing
I have most of the weekly challenges completed, however the ones that I have left do not progress whatsoever. One of them is getting 15k damage with ARs. This challenge never progresses in any game mode, and other weekly challenges are like that as well. The Daily XP challenge that rewards battle pass stars is also not progressing at all. Basically I’m stuck at level 44 in the BP now and I’m gonna miss out on the rest of the rewards.Old event packs are scams.
Any of the previous packs, that may sound good because it’s less money. Don’t buy them, I’ve bought em quite a few. And it’s purple continuously. No golds, and the horizon skin is the only one I don’t have. So yes I spent some money. The skin itself should have been in the last pack. Sadly, I hope I can save some of you some money. I’m the only one to blame, but man throughout all the years of the bullcrap I’ve put up with trying to enjoy the game. About your random teammates. The devs have added requeue options, use it!!! I use the feature as much as possible, but I've noticed that a lot of players are still solo queuing. If you're not actively searching out a "squad" to compete with in Ranked then it's your fault, not the devs. The update hasn't been out a week and some players in the community are being so negative and bitter. Give the changes some time to work. Geesh!!! Stop blasting your randoms. Some of y'all care so much about kills/damage, but y'all never mention anything about placement. This is a BR, not team deathmatch. You can screenshot your randoms stats all you want, but that means nothing. Maybe your randoms care more about placement then kills. I don't understand the logic behind solo queueing and then expecting "stacked" results, especially since we have an option to use requeue. The fact that solo queuers expect their teammates to kiss their butt and chase them around the map erratically is pure narcissism. If y'all really care about being a "team player" and "ranking up" you will communicate with your squad and link up if you played well together. Now that we have requeue options complaining about your randoms is a non-issue. The devs need to focus on improving Ranked further and removing cheaters and cheats from the game, along with other issues/concerns. Anyways... Ranked Distribution is looking good. Does anyone know if the community will receive a matchmaking update anytime soon? Specifically, the "stay with team" feature (after matches) and any other updates that will improve the solo queue experience. The solo queue experience needs to be focused on direly. It's been too long and no action. I hope we hear something before the next season starts.Apex ban issue not resolved
Hello ea, the reason why my game account was banned is to enhance game behaviors such as game acceleration. In the game just now, the hero I used Apex Power Boy, who was the wild card, chose the accelerated movement replicator in your latest activity mode because the Power Boy's skill also accelerates movement speed, which made my character move too fast, which led you to think that I might have used plug-ins and blocked my game account, but I have never used third-party plug-ins or plug-ins. I request to re-check my historical data and plug-in usage history and unblock my account after confirming that I have never used a third-party plug-in and used a plug-in.
