The issues that I'm having have brought me to the brink of insanity.
Instead of complaining, I'm just going to list the issues I have and pray to God that somebody has a solution. FPS usually locked to 30 until I switch the Global Graphics preset to Ultra. After I manage to unlock my FPS, there is insane input lag and frame drops, even on low settings. Animations in-game look like they're in slow-mo. Can't set refresh rate higher than 119hz on native resolution (2560x1440), but can set it to a wide range of options at a lower resolution. I've been trying to fix this BS for hours at this point, please help me. I'll attach a short video showcasing the bugs. (Also, my brother with a completely identical computer, monitor, and settings has absolutely zero issues). Specs: Geforce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU Intel i5 8GB RAM ~120GB free storage
How to fix the invisible friends/players bug
Step 1.) Your friends/players are invisible Step 2.) Go to the >pause menu >hub >social & spectate Step 3.) begin spectating your friend Step 4.) Cycle through spectating every player in the lobby till you loop back around to your friend(s) Step 5.) Teleport to your friend from Spectator mode Step 6.) It should (hopefully) be fixed. This has worked pretty consistently for me, I believe the issue is from desyncing with the lobby/server causing everyone to disappear, by doing this method you manually "re-sync" with the lobbly/server. Super bouncing out of the map may cause desync as well. Let me know if this method worked for you and if it does upvote if that's even a thing on these forums. If it doesn't work for you, your last resort is to restart anlaki, I'm sorry GG.

This is infuriating man. THIS STILL HAPPENS. YOU MARKING A LIL THREAD AS SOLVED DOESNT MEAN THIS IS SOLVED. I never had that lil skate cpt thing man so stop with that, it aint that. Me and the other ppl having this problem are SCREAMING at thier monitor at you because it's still not fixed, And you ignore their cries for help because u think u solved the problem. You didnt. I can only play the game for 5 minutes like clockwork, when your servers shoot me out of a cannon to the main menu here it wont let me back in until I close and reopen the game. 15 years. Fix it man, seriously.
PLEASE FIX EA GAMES CRASHING ON XBOX SERIES X
Both Battlefield 6 & Skate. have been unplayable due to them crashing my Xbox. No other games do it & other people have the same issue with EA games exclusively as well. I literally tore down my whole Xbox last night, redid the thermal paste & everything just to try & fix the problem. No luck, Skate. still crashes :( Extremely frustrating since I can play any other game just fine, like COD, Siege & Helldivers. Please listen to the other people complaining about thus across the internet & do something. It HAS to be some sort of bug in the code. It’s only games produced by EA. The game just freezes, goes to a glitch screen, then dashboards or restarts. I have an original Series X from just after launch date & really want to play these games but there’s no way I’m buying a new console to do so. I’ve tried every setting & trick in the book. Please don’t suggest anything, just fix the games.
Skate launching from Steam crashes PC
I know this is a known issue, but wanted to add because I haven't seen any official statement or feedback for this issue apart from a few workaround hacks which shouldn't be the norm - including launching from the EA App. I launch skate from Steam like I would any other game (which before I have verified the files prior) and it opens a small screen with a progression bar below - once it reaches to what I'd assume is 100%, screen goes blank as if it's about to launch the game in full screen. Waited 10 minutes and still no luck, so I ALT-TAB out into Chrome to try and restart the program, however I can move the mouse but no clicks or keyboard inputs do anything, including Task Manager - thus forcing me to restart my PC. I've seen workarounds for forcing the launch in window mode, and even when launching the game and the small loading screen comes up to immediately ALT-TAB to another program like Chrome to then wait 5 minutes and you should then play the game, but this is insane to do every single time. NVIDIA is updated to the latest driver (version 581.29 released on the Sept 10th, and running RTX4090, but this needs to be resolved soon as it kills any enthusiasm to quickly launch and play.
